Wow! Logan showed a depth of writing we haven’t seen in a while. Of course, his other works are fantastic but this one had me in awe. The unadulterated love and passion that leaped off the pages right from the start had me continuously hanging on to every word. Tripp was an absolute breath of fresh air. He wore his heart on his sleeve..in the sense of transcribing all of his harbored feelings to “paper” for the one he knows he shouldn’t be thinking about. At times I felt like I was intruding on the raw chemistry between Tripp and Millie. Their love shined and I couldn’t have been happier for another couple to get the outcome their hearts desired. Read this one..you won’t be disappointed!
I just love Tripp. Emotional intelligence is so hot. Make him a closet romance author and add in a beautiful bookworm and you've got a perfect story. I love that the script was flipped and he's the author rather than her; we need more male representation in a field that's female dominant.
When Tripp Attwood overhears Millie Mason's secret, he shares his to save her embarrassment, and so begins a relationship based on what each can do for the other. Millie reads Tripp's story and gives feedback, Tripp proves she can orgasm. Book five in the Magnolia Ridge series is as entertaining and enjoyable as the others. Tripp is my favourite Attwood, though. Attractive, sensitive and conflicted. Millie is adorable. She is slightly older than Tripp, but her shyness makes her vulnerable and he is able to be protective and proactive. Wonderful romance, and Tripp's own story is very moving.
Five stars don't do Tripp and Millie's story justice. This a beautiful read that will leave you laughing, smiling and at times, as in my case, the tears will flow. Their story is spicy with an undercurrent of heartbreaking emotion. Tripp's smooth talk is going to knock your panties off. And, Millie is the perfect recipient of his sexy, hot talk. Trust me when I say "You do not want to miss Tripp and Millie's story!" I know you will find yourself rooting for Tripp. Of course, Logan included the Atwood brother's banter! I love the depth of all these characters. Characters that leap off the pages. It was impossible to put this book down. I recommend without reservation Tripp and Millie's story. Both thumbs way up and ALL the stars. I highly recommend this book and the others in the Magnolia Ridge series.
I adore the Atwood family. As I read each of their stories I think I love the next family member more than the last. Tripp and Millie’s story is passionately told with a blend of laughter, steam and even some tissue grabbing moments. The words that Tripp express are beautifully crafted, add that to the story itself and I was blown away. I page turner that I wanted to turn off the rest of the word and just live in this book. Logan Chance never disappoints with his writing, every character has their own unique personalities. You’ll feel an instant connection with these characters and always want more. Beautifully written, a must read.
Tripp has proved to be just as possessive as the rest of the Atwood clan. The passion he puts into his writing is real. It's a love story to the one woman he can't stop thinking about, but knows he can never have until he hears her wish on a star, then all bets are off. Millie is his beta reader, and he gives her things no man ever has.
I was waiting for Tripp and Millie's story and it did not disappoint. They were the right pair and I am so glad Tripp was finally true to himself, even if it took him almost losing to get there. I loved the way he valued and revered Millie and it is definitely one of my favourites in the Atwood series x
One of my top 10 reads and couples of the year!! Millie and Tripp are the perfect couple, I love them together! Tripp is one of the swooniest MMC I have read in awhile. This book has so many great moments and the heat is sizzling!! I can’t recommend this book or this series enough!!
I could barely finish this book but did for series continuity purposes since I loved all the previous books in the series. Tripp is so immature and I don’t think he treated Millie like she deserved. Saying she doesn’t have a family so she wouldn’t understand is something I don’t think I could get over. Plus, the “little bunny” pet name creeped me out.

Millie loves owning her small bookstore. She has plans to grow it over time but for now she is very satisfied. The only thing she is missing is someone to love. Tripp is part of a great big family. They all work together at Atta Boy Brewery. Everyone is working to grow the business. Everyone except Trip. He wants to be an author but he’s afraid to tell everyone. Can two people that love books find love in the real world? Will the bro code stop their romance before it even starts?
Millie is a fun character. Even though she has experienced grief in her life she continues to pursue things that make her happy. She has a group of older woman as friends. They have a book club that sounds like it would be a lot of fun to be a part of. She doesn’t have one big moment of growth but instead opens up and changes gradually as she gets to know Tripp better. Tripp has a lot of growth in the story. First, he has to get up the courage to date Millie even though it breaks the bro code. Second, he has to tell the world he wants to be an author. Finally, he has to get the courage to tell the world that Millie is the one he wants to be with. Tripp is a very likeable character. The author sets up early on that Millie used to date Brock so even though she is attracted to Tripp she can never date him because the men are brothers. There is some good tension created because of the fact she used to date Brock. Just FYI, Brock and Millie never did any adult activities so this isn’t icky.
My one big issue with the book is how the big reveal about their relationship is handled. Given the tension that built up during the story surrounding that one little piece of information I was expecting something “different” or “more”. It is the author’s prerogative to write the conclusion, however they choose but I thought it was a bit of a letdown. It was the slowest part of the story for me.
This is a contemporary brother’s ex-girlfriend romance. The story includes a woman who is alone in the world and a man with a huge family that’s up in his business. It can be read as a stand-alone story. I will read more from this author in the future.

Okay have to say of all the Atwood brothers Tripp is one I have been curious about and boy Logan Chance did not disappoint. We have Magnolia Ridge's local bookstore Millie and somewhat hardcore bookworm and the youngest Atwood, brother Tripp, see how much they really actually complete each other. Millie is the best friend of Anya and Brock's ex yet to Tripp she has been his secret crush for years. Age is definitely not a problem because Millie is becoming his everything. He has fallen for her each day from afar but knowing she needs help in a big way he is ready to make his move. Knowing she holds his biggest secret is everything to him yet Callum is putting a knot around his neck in a big way. He knows he has to make a big decision soon but he is close to getting all his dreams to come true. Logan Chance so made Tripp into the sexiest book boyfriend I have read and so wanted more of him. Seeing him desire, fantasize and dreaming of Millie was sexy but reading his thoughts about the girl he can't have is just mind blowing. One thing for sure he is so not into the business but seeing him in a rock and hard place well is just unfair to him. All in all Logan Chance you totally rocked with Tripp and oh my goodness you never been so hot and sexier than ever with these two but wowza between them. One thing for sure readers do grab a glass of ice to cool down once you a hold of Tripp Atwood, loved it.
"I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own."
This book was amazing. The storyline, the depth of the characters, and the steam make for an absolute MUST READ. Logan Chance has encompassed so much emotion and self doubt that I could feel the internal struggles. Tripp is the youngest sibling in the Atwood family. He knows what he wants and knows that she is off limits because she is his brother’s ex. But his attraction to her is unstoppable. Not only that, the idea that he does not want to disappoint his family mixed with his desire to pursue his passion, creates an internal conflict that seems to be all consuming. Millie has pursued her dream of owning a bookstore. Even though professionally she is successful, her personal life is filled with insecurities that seem to inhibit her from finding Mt, Right. The chemistry between Tripp and Millie is both endearing and steamy. They both find a way to bring each other out of their personal shells which helps them grow as individuals. Family plays a key factor in this series and Don’t Fall For Your Ex Boyfriend's Brother continues the idea of being in a large supportive family. From being typical siblinging to having each other's back, each sibling supports Tripp in his quest for a fulfilling life. Each book in the series focuses on a different sibling in the Atwood family and should be read in order but does not have to be. I definitely recommend reading Don't Fall For Your Ex Boyfriend's Brother.

Don’t Fall for Your Ex-Boyfriend’s Brother is a small-town enemies to lovers quick paced read with a thunderstorm of emotions, admirable characters that grab your attention with witty banter and laugh out loud movements. The fiery, passionate romance scenes left me breathless, while the emotional scenes tugged at my heartstrings. The strong family bond of the Atwoods made me eager to become a part of their family.
This story takes place in the small-town Magnolia Ridge where Millie owns a bookstore and has a secret, she holds close to her heart. Tripp Atwood, the youngest Atwood brother, finds working at the family brewery unrewarding. Romance writing brings this young man to life. His heart races with fear of telling his family he does not want the brewery to be his legacy. Millie and Tripp face some obstacles before reaching their happy forever.
An enticing read that hooked me to discover what would happen next. The author does an incredible job writing the believable romance between Millie and Tripp: adding to the storyline Tripp’s emotional love story. The author’s talent shines in this romance read, leaving you craving more. Millie’s background helps readers gain a better understanding of her. The approval from Tripp’s family for his writing made Millie and Tripp’s connection even more cherished. Received a pre-released copy. I look forward to the next story in this fun spicy series.
Another great RomCom from Logan Chance! I’ve been loving the Magnolia Ridge series and all of these siblings with their antics and seemingly mismatched partners…
Tripp Atwood is the youngest, and not interested in the family brewery and restaurant. Sure, he works in the restaurant doing odd jobs (serving, bussing, helping wherever he’s needed), but he has much larger aspirations. He’s hiding a huge secret from the family, which he just let spill to the local bookstore owner, who saw he was buying books about writing and publishing - he’s writing a book! And not just any book… it’s a romance… and it’s a lot about the feelings he’s been hiding, about her - Millie - his older brother’s ex. The girl he’s dreamed about for years, who his brother dated briefly, though not seriously - but bro code still stands (right?).
When Tripp accidentally overhears Millie make a wish on a star about one day being able to find a guy who can get her to experience the big o, he offers his services… because there’s no way that could get messy… if she would be willing to beta read his book.
This story goes in directions I both expected and never thought possible at the same time - Chance is able to give us as the reader exactly what we need and surprise us at the same time. It’s a fantastic read which I highly recommend, along with the earlier books in this series. I can’t wait for the final one!
I received an early copy from Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Book 5 in the Magnolia Ridge series focuses on Tripp, the youngest of the Atwood men, as he navigates what feels like an identity crisis. Unlike the rest of his siblings, Tripp doesn’t share the same passion for the family brewery and has secretly been working as a romance writer. But that’s not his only secret—he’s also been hiding his long-standing feelings for his brother’s ex-girlfriend, Millie, especially from Brock.
One night, Tripp stops by Millie’s bookstore and overhears her making a wish upon a star. Embarrassed, Millie begs him to keep her secret, but instead, Tripp opens up about his own. They make a deal—Millie reads his drafts, and Tripp helps her with her wishes. But as with any romance, things get complicated, and feelings start to blur the lines of their arrangement.
Will Tripp finally be able to reveal his true self to his family, including his feelings for Millie? And does Millie feel the same? To find out what’s in store for these two, you’ll have to dive into the book! It’s packed with steam, secrets, and the lovable Atwood clan—what more could you ask for?
This series just keeps getting better and better!! The Atwood clan and there ladies are amazing characters. I absolutely love everything about this series and this book. I really couldn’t put it down. It was like what Millie said about a book she was reading. Every free minute she had during the day she would look to read it. That what this book did to me 😊
The storyline was brilliant and completely different from anything I’ve read before. It was amazing being inside Tripps head as he poured his heart out in the pages he was writing. My heart felt for him as he was navigating his family, Atta boy and falling for Millie. I understand the position he was in and it was a hard one. Millie is such an incredible person, I love her love of books and reading. Her bookstore sounded like somewhere I would love to hang out in.
Logan Chance wrote such a beautiful love story. Tripp and Millie are definitely one of my favorite couples. Together they are amazing and let me say their chemistry is totally off the charts!
I absolutely recommend this story as well as this series, it really is something special !!
The Atwood gang in Magnolia Ridge owners of the Atta Boy brewery Callum, Shepperd, Brock, Paxton and Anya and finally Tripp . The youngest of four brothers and sister all have a role and responsibility within the Atta Boy brewery even Griffin the amazing chef even though not blood related still involved in the Atwood Clan.
Tripp Atwood mainly just going through the motions of coming into work and home ,last one to leave the nest and last one to know what to do in life, is passion is writing but still waits the tables at Atta Boy and also a crush on his brothers ex girlfriend. Makes it awkward and questions that haven't reached a conclusion only his crush is bigger than him. His secrets and his life his adventure.
Millie Mason alone in this world, runs the bookshop in Magnolia Ridge and every week has the book club with the older members and discuss the next book in depth. Lives above the shop and continues with the day to day, until one day wishing upon a star over heard by a at Atwood brother and life was going to change for the better.
Absolutely loving the series and love the characters highly recommended
4.5 stars - I have a bit more to say about this one. Tripp is the baby of the family and quite honestly I felt like his family sh*t on him a lot throughout this series. It was obvious something was going on with him but his family just kind of shoved it aside. I'm thankful for close family friend Griffin for actually stepping up to the plate for Tripp. The Good - I honestly could not love this couple anymore. From previous books they seemed like complete opposites but they were really more alike than anyone could imagine. The Bad - Both Tripp and Millie feeling like they couldn't be together because she briefily dated his older brother and there was really nothing between them at all. The secrecy of their relationship and with Tripp's dream to be an author was a bit of a strain on their young relationship. The Ugly - Just going to say it, I'm not a huge fan of pet names and Tripp calling her "little bunny" gave off Hanibal Lector vibes, it was creepy. Tripp's family not being extremely supportive of him also kind of pissed me off. There was way more to Tripp and than met the eye an I loved that, he is probably the most complex character in this series.
Don't Fall For Your Ex-Boyfriend's Brother is book #5 in the Magnolia Ridge Series, and is Tripp's story. As the youngest Atwood brother, Tripp has grown up a lot throughout the series. Though it is expected of him to help run the family brewery company, he wants to be a romance author. Tripp has had feelings for Millie, the quiet bookshop owner, for a while but never acted on them due to her once dating his older brother. Instead he writes passionately about his feelings as a story for a book he is secretly writing. When he overhears Millie wishing on a star for something, they make an agreement to help each other. Millie beta reads the chapters of his book as he finishes them, and Tripp will give her what no man has ever managed before. The chemistry between these characters was off the charts! The story was beautifully written, and had me laughing one minute, then tearing up the next. I highly recommend the whole Magnolia Ridge Series featuring all of the Atwood's stories. I can't wait for the next book in this addictive series.
We meet many of the Atwood siblings in the books prior to this one. Tripp is the baby boy and it’s his story. The Atwood children run a brewery and they are all impatiently waiting for Tripp to get on board. He does work there, filling in where needed, but his heart isn’t in it. In his own time, no one knows that he has been writing. And his muse..is none other than his brother, Brock’s, ex girlfriend.
Millie owns a book store that she absolutely loves. Her grandmother and mother ran it and now it’s hers. One evening Tripp comes by and she finds herself making an agreement with the gorgeous man. She will read his book and he will help her, let’s say in the bedroom. The more time she spends with him, the more she realizes she dated the wrong Atwood man.
Another good read from the Atwood siblings. I really like the world that has been created with the whole family. I think we can all agree we saw this one coming in Brock’s book so glad to see them come together.
Book 5 of the Magnolia Ridge series brings us Tripp, the youngest of the brothers, and Millie, the ex-girlfriend of one of Tripp’s brothers.
Tripp has been helping out around the family’s brewery trying to find his place - what he is afraid to tell his family is that he wants to be a romance writer.
Millie dated one of Tripp’s brothers but there was no spark. When she met Tripp - sparks flew!! As a book store owner, she is very familiar with romance books and is looking for her own romance story complete with the happily ever after.
Overhearing a conversation that no one was supposed to hear, Tripp proposes that they each help the other with their problems. By doing this, it brings to light the very real feelings they have for each other. And their connection is off the charts hot!
Logan, once again, gives us a couple that has chemistry that leaps off the page. The characters are well written and their story grabs you from the beginning and makes you binge the whole thing - while also hoping it goes on forever!
Tripp Atwood is the youngest in a large family that is centered around their brewery/restaurant. But Tripp is so different from his brothers and sister, he feels trapped by expectations that he find his place in the family business, when what he really wants is to be an author. He is attracted to Millie, his brother’s ex-girlfriend, which adds another layer of stress. And then, he hooks up with Millie and now he has another secret to keep from his family.
Logan Chance shares the most romantic character I have ever found; the novel Tripp is writing, his love for Millie, the bubble he creates with Millie in her bookstore, it was just so sweet. Unfortunately, he now has a secret life he is hiding from his family, he is messing up at the restaurant, and the stress is going to break him.
I loved following Tripp and Millie as their relationship developed and he was finally able to break away from family expectations to find his own path to happiness.
Fun, flirty and fantastic...Millie and Tripp have an interesting start to their relationship. Millie, the quiet and unassuming book shop owner is awaken by the confident younger brother of her ex-boyfriend, Tripp. He knows how to push her buttons and Millie loves it. They are really cute together. Millie and Tripp find that they have a lot in common beyond the sparks and dirty talk.
Their story builds taking it's time for Millie and Tripp to get to know each other, but once secrets are exposed, their story evolves super fast considering how long their "bubble time" seemed to be. I wanted to know the reactions of the Atwood clan about the secrets that were kept and why. The book jumps into the epilogue, which is great, but I wanted more content on how Millie and Tripp navigated past his family to their happy ending.
I am looking forward to Callum and Violet's story next.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
We finally can get to know the real Tripp after reading about him in the previous Magnolia Ridge books. Mr. Chance delivers a storyline where you are pulled in from the start. The initial interaction between Tripp and his brother's ex-girlfriend Millie is once that will have you laughing and had Millie embarrassed. Tripp and Millie's story is one where they know they shouldn't act upon their feelings and a proposition is offered and agreed upon that things heat up. Secrets are kept, feelings are shared and they realize they do have a lot in common and lines are crossed but while this is happening hearts are broken. Tripp is being pulled in two different directions, one the one he wants to follow and the one his family wants him to take. Will he follow his heart and take the road that may be harder to navigate or appease his family? Tripp will have you swooning over him and the romantic man that is hiding under the surface. I can't wait for the next installment in this series.
Tripp and Millie are my favorite couple. I know we still have Callum’s book, but what can I say? These two are magnetic, sweet, steamy and scrumptious all rolled into one. Tripp saw Millie first but Brock made the first move and he’s been pining ever since, and now that she and Brock split and he’s with Willow, that leaves Mille a free woman, or does it just create more complications? How can she date her ex-boyfriends younger brother? It would be wrong, but it could be so right too. Tripp is hiding a secret that no one knows, not even his brothers and when he confides in Millie it brings them even closer. I lived these two together, a little forbidden, do we, don’t we kind of love. Both worried how this will all play out and all Tripp has to do is be honest with his family. Will he chance losing Millie instead? Great read!
Love, love, love the Attwood family and I loved Millie and Tripp’s story. They are so in tune with each other and their chemistry was scorching hot. I think this is my favourite in this series and Logan Chance has certainly outdone himself with this book. My heart shattered for our characters at certain parts especially Tripp because you could feel the pressure of him keeping his secret between himself and Millie, but also because he felt that his family would not understand his desire to do is own thing and not be a part of the family brewery. Tripp was certainly a surprise package but he never wavered in his desire and love for Millie, his brother’s ex girlfriend and Millie was so beautiful and sweet you cannot help but fall in love with her. Cannot wait to read more of the Attwood family!
Honeymoon Courtship. I love this Magnolia Ridge series featuring the Atwood siblings. Although each book features one Atwood at a time, it is better to read in suggested reading order.
Tripp Atwood is the baby of the six kids and he’s been crushing on his brother Brock’s ex-girlfriend Millie Mason. Millie is my kind a girl: bookworm and bookstore owner. We get both perspectives from both characters and that’s key to knowing their mindset. It’s one romantic honeymoon courtship so there is sexy times and bliss. Although there a brief part that I found contradictory, it didn’t deter from the story too much. What’s even better Tripp faces tough choices he keeps dodging. A happy ever after worth reading.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
We have watched Tripp grow up, while reading the other Atwood brothers' stories. Seeing him as a young man, with passion will leave you breathless. He has always crushed on Millie, who was his brother's ex. He's torn between family loyalty and going for the woman he truly wants. Tripp also has a secret. He's writing a book. He doesn't want to be involved with the brewery. Millie offers to read his book. As they spend time together, their passion explodes and they become closer. The story is smart, sexy and funny when the Atwoods be the Atwoods. I love the group texting. It makes me laugh out loud. So far, the best storyline of the series. Thank you to Logan Chance, for the advanced copy.
