Armacalypse, Inc. is one of the hottest new businesses in the e-commerce world and Serenata Creed is its MMFIC. When she’s not out inventing products that will be showcased on late night infomercials, she’s running from the law, hiding from the law, or breaking the law. On a good day, she’s doing all three. Too bad her momma is the law.
Serenata won’t allow something as trivial as house arrest to stop her. With a new invention to be showcased at the first annual ass-off competition, Serenata needs two things: a way to get the wrist monitor off without it exploding and world class international rugby player Tai Napier to model it. Since he’s here in Atlanta, all that’s left to do is establish a fund for a bribe and arrange his kidnapping. Easy-peasy.
Rugby season might be in full swing, but after a nasty public split with his team, his fans, and his fiancée, for the first time, he’s on the outside looking in. But since he’s all the way in Atlanta looking in, it doesn’t hurt as much. Southerners didn’t really give a shit about rugby, or the men who played it. Without the media to hound him, he’d got some much needed rest, only to have it interrupted by his own kidnapping.
Being held hostage wasn’t supposed to be fun, but when Serenata Creed was your kidnapper, all bets were off. In her presence, he discovered himself. In her eyes, he saw his future. Now all he had to do was get her to see the same thing. A spitfire, Tai was sure she would be contrary. That didn’t deter him. If he couldn’t win her over by fair means, he’d win her over by foul ones. After all, one felony kidnapping charge deserves another.

If the cover does not do it for you, the story itself will!! Serenata Creed is funny as heck, she is like a crazy she-ro and I loved her character and the book in general. Tai had his work cut out for him, but he was definitely up for the job and handled her very well. it. J & J always give me an excellent and entertaining read. Don't sleep on it HIGHLY recommend!! 5 +++++ stars!
