Large trim size, nonfiction, childrens, middle grade. 32 pages. 4712 words.

Each spread has ~300 words and three to five pictures. Also "Did you know?" and "Fascinating Fact" and "How do you say it" for longer vocabulary words.

About mollusks, body parts/ features, types (bivalve, chiton, snail, cephalopod), life cycle, habitat, senses, eating, defense.

Includes a quiz and glossary.

Excellent introduction to mollusks. A bit too list like in places but I did learn how snails have sex.
