Read and rated with my 8 yr old son. His thoughts: “It was good and it had a lot of action, a lot of movement. I learned a lot about that dinosaur, wait, not dinosaur…prehistoric reptile. It’s about how Jaime and Tom go into Dino Cove and they find that Wanna has a nest. They go looking for quetzys because that’s why they came there. And quetzy nests are near the edge of cliffs so they have room to spread their wings. The mother quetzy pushes the baby off the edge so they can learn how to fly and to feed them; the father quetzy comes and pukes on the baby quetzys from the food he ate earlier.”
I like this book because: 1. It is adventurous; 2. It has a normal start, then the story goes queer; 3. The story is long, and you don't finish in one day.
