This book keeps you turning each page to find out what clue, chance meeting or even where an animals psychic instinct and memory will lead you to a new adventure with the main character. Aside from the kindness and attraction to an officer of the law. The story is held in a magical town that keeps the spirt of Christmas around much longer than the average modern town that starts selling spring items in the middle of winter. It is a mystery and keeps you aware that no matter where you go, there are a few soulless cruel people out there who will stop at nothing to get their selfish needs met. Good discriminate thinking, suspense and romance all wait for you in the pages of this book that I highly recommend reading.

Interesting concept about transformation. I found the characters charming. The village is adorable. I enjoy love stories. A must read.
