In book two of Shifter With the Redeemer in custody, Vander and Jewel must find out who is still following through with his plans because the killings haven't stopped. When dreams start for Vander, he realizes they need to solve this case quickly if the woman in them is to survive. If that wasn't enough for the human who was placed in a nightmare along with a bunch of wolves, being told you had two mates would definitely cause a few more problems, especially when one is male. Kane faces a mate who won't acknowledge him. For a wolf, this can be devastating, he knows because every time he tries to get close and Vander pulls back, he feels his heart break a little more. The Atlanta Pack Alpha has had his share of problems with running a pack but as things start to surface this time, he realizes it has turned personal. Who is he to put his trust in, surely not the two men who threaten to change the dynamics in his family. Can they stop the reign of a man who is locked up? Will a change in the Atlanta Pack be for the better—or worse? Do three find everything they have ever wanted and become one? Come to Atlanta and find the answers.
Infiltrating the Pack is the second book in Jana Leigh and Bryce Evans Shifter Justice series. I am a big fan of both authors so I was very happy when they teamed up for this series. Each book can be read as a stand alone book but I will be honest and say, this book can be a little confusing at times if you haven't read the first book, Perfect Reflections. It had been awhile since I read Perfect Reflections and I had to pull up my copy on the kindle to clarify a few things. I still think the book can be read as a stand alone, I'm just a stickler for details.
In Infiltrating the Pack, human cop Vander helps his werewolf partner Jewel find a kidnapped werewolf. The kidnapped werewolf is also Vander's mate, but since Vander is a human he doesn't quite understand the mating pull and is resistant at first. Kane is Vander's second mate (again Vander denies this at first) so they both try their hardest to find Jewel. I really don't want to spoil the story so I will just say the story line has a lot going on...romance, deception, intrigue, mystery, etc. I really enjoyed it and definitely recommend.
The book does have a HEA but Jana and Bryce tease us at the end with a foreshadowing of who the next book will be about. My list of books to look forward to is getting way too long ;-).
"When the Infiltrator gets Infiltrated by the mating scent!" What a super amazing series!. The story line is compelling. And the characters are amazing!. Z is an unique Wolf he is an Infiltrator this means he can check out other packs for dangers and go undetected. He is given a job to check out a pack that everyone thought was no more. Drew Z's friend and an Alpha tells him a she wolf Ripley Grayson came to him asking for help only she would not give Drew much information. Drew sends Z to check the pack out. The Grayson pack runs a rapid boating company so Z signs up for an over night trip. When Z meets he loves her scent and has a strong urge to mate with her. Ripley does not scent him as a wolf sense Z has magic he uses to cover his scent. She is still attracted to him but thinks he is human. Z finds out Ripley's pack does not have a Alpha or Beta that she has been their leader for years sense her Father died. Now a pack of Coyotes have been trying to take her pack over. This is why she asked Drew for help. Z plans to take Ripley as his mate first he needs to get rid of the Coyote problem. Can Z get his mate?. Will they be able to stop the coyotes?. This is an incredible book you will love to read!. A Fantastic must read book!.
This is the second book in the series, and it seems to me each book gets better and better! This book has a little bit of everything in it. I really enjoyed the suspense that this story held so much I could not put it down! The characters in this story are well written and I loved reading the interaction between them! I really enjoyed Vander, I usually don't tend to go for the human versus shifter but there is something about Vander that calls to me and I think he will call to others as well! I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves a shifter story! Looking forward to reading more!
An AMAZING read by two AMAZING Authors. I love stories that bring many different people into a family type setting and this book does that and more. This whole story has a lot of surprising twists and turns and keeps you guessing at who done it.
