Cinder-Never is a super sweet, super quick, Cinderella retelling.
Taking place in a modern day high school setting, the character roles have been amended to suit the story in the best way.
This story could easily be expanded to pad out the complexity of Amber's suitation and what her less than enchanted life looks like.
The ending is definitely a nice spin on the story and well deserved for our dear old wicked step-mother!

I liked the idea of this book, and thought it was an okay bite sized Cinderella inspired story. It really reminded me of that movie (Cinderella Story) from the 2000’s with Jennifer Coolidge). It had very similar vibes that I loved. I would have rated it higher if not for a couple of glaring grammatical errors. There were a couple of typos, punctuation errors (commas where they’re not needed, and missing when needed), and some clunky sentences.

Overall I thought the concept was good but the book would’ve been better if it had been longer so that the characters could’ve been fleshed out properly and I just wish the grammatical errors had been caught before release.
