New Mexico has some pretty strange names. It's interesting to learn where some of them came from. The book touches on bits of history, folklore and gossip. It would be a fun read for the person on the passengers side as you drive across I-40 between Oklahoma and Arizona (which is what most people do).

Every time I've had a question about the history of a New Mexican town, river, or site of almost any sort, I've found that this book provided a wealth of information.
