The Brother #4

My Heart, His Child

Rate this book
Bailey, after fighting with her long-time toxic boyfriend during vacation, ends things and leaves to find her own way home. Stranded until morning in the middle of a rustic, secluded, logger town, she wanders into the only bar to wait for the next bus home.

It’s there where she meets Axel, and gets swept off her feet in an instant. She ends up back at his place where their connection becomes electric. There was something about Axel that made Bailey feel cherished and safe for the first time in her life…..

Until the next morning when she sees a text on his phone that changes everything.

She runs back home without a word, trying to forget the whole vacation, including the brooding lumberjack with his tingling touch and piercing blue eyes. That proves to be impossible, especially when she finds out weeks later she is pregnant.

Years later, when her ex threatens the life of her and her child, she is forced to run back to the place where it all began. As fate would have it, she runs right back into the path of Alpha Axel, who realizes right away that Bailey stole more than just his heart that night.

She’s his mate, and the child in the backseat calling her mommy was his child.

Hey y'all!

My name is Chelsie. I'm an indie author living in SW Oklahoma. I started writing fantasy and contemporary romance in 2022.

I'm a mother to two. Wife to the most amazing man. If I'm not writing, I'm usually reading. Traveling and fitness are also hobbies I love.

I love to use my imaginary worlds to create yummy men (who all strangely remind me of my husband) and strong, resilient female characters who are not perfect, but grow into women fighting for their own happily ever after.
