This book allows you to make a small library out of paper with simple folds. I was able to figure most of it out myself from the diagrams and instructions even though I don't do origami. My hubby had to help with one fold towards the end of the instructions. The difficulty I have is in keeping the books closed. It is hard to find paper thin enough to close the book. I would recommend wimpy wrapping paper because it comes in so many colors and patterns. The biggest problem is that you have to practice a lot so it doesn't tear on the corners or spine. Origami paper can work, but the problem with it is that it is too small and the books turn out so tiny, you can't do anything with them. The book also has book cover folding instructions and instructions for folding little book shelves to put your myriad of books on. The whole concept is really cute, just a little difficult to carry out. I looked at other books by these authors, and this one seemed like the easiest by far, though their work truly is beautiful. If you love books and have patience for origami, this could be a good craft project.
