The story is a dramatic re-imagining of TODD McFARLANE's SPAWN, a sweeping tale of fallen kingdoms, ancient curses, and doomed love, sure to appeal to fans of epic dark fantasies like Conan, Lord of the Rings, and Frank Frazetta's Death Dealer.Collects SPAWN GODSLAYER One-Shot, and #1-8
American writer who writes comics, novels and animation. Some of his works include "Aria", "Savior," "Spawn" "The Dark Crystal: Creation Myths," "Godslayer" and "Kiss: Psycho Circus".
This is one of my favorite incarnations of Spawn. The art is beautiful and I love the dark fantasy world that was being explored. I wish the series could have had a proper ending.
A dark fantasy version of Spawn. Nothing groundbreaking, but enjoyable and better than the main series at the time. I never really cared for Brian Holguin on Spawn, but I think this setting suits his writing style. There is a major problem: the series was cancelled and there is no real ending. Unfortunately, this is very common with Spawn miniseries and adjacent comics. Too bad.
