I was abducted by aliens. At first, I thought it was a prank, but it's real.
I never imagined my life could change so drastically. One moment, I was dealing with the heartbreak of catching my boyfriend cheating and the next, I was abducted by aliens who have frightening plans for me.

But before they could enact their plans, the aliens' ship crashes. Now, I'm stranded on an unfamiliar planet called Laedirissae, and I'm surrounded by beasts that want to eat me. I'm terrified, lost, and alone. But then, I meet Draggar—a fierce warrior with a heart as big as his muscles.

As Draggar and I navigate the challenges of surviving on his planet, we discover that our connection goes deeper than anything I ever thought possible. He believes I am his spirit mate, but I'm not so sure.

The stakes grow higher as we deal with tribal conflicts that threaten to boil over and danger lurking around every corner. In this alien world, where survival is a daily battle and trust is a precious commodity, I must find the courage to believe in a future I never thought possible.

Because here, amidst the wild beauty of planet Laedirissae, I've found something worth fighting love, hope, and my alien warrior.

Mated to the Alien Warrior is book one in The Spirit Mates of the Laediriian Exiles series. It can be read as a stand alone or as part of the series.

Unoriginal

It's HEAVILY reminiscent of Ruby Dixon's Ice Planet Barbarians and Stacy Jones' Chosen series. It might as well be called Chosen By The Jungle Planet Barbarians.
It's more than decent as fan fiction, but so incredibly similar to those other series that I kept getting intense dejavu... feeling like I've already read this.
It's also in need of proof-reading, with missing words and the like.

Heavily references the genre at large. Repeats now common tropes--THAT BEING SAID, it is a fun read. And while not distinctly different--I think reviewers sometimes forget that every writer starts somewhere. These books are a somewhere. It's easier to build layers on top of a foundation, and if it ain't broke and all that--so I'm interested to see how this world shapes up differently from how other established alien world book series's do.

'Amoris.

Mated to the Alien Warrior de Michelle Nova Serie Spirit Mates of the Laediriian Exiles libro1

Argumento:

Torn between 3 and 4 stars. It had IPB vibes and there were really good plot points but it didn't wow. Everything was easy for the girls: they were given translators, no one was seriously injured when crashed, Haley was found and Draggar provided everything for her, the other women survived like a week with like no food and straying off terradactyls. It was annoying that Haley and Draggar didn't meet until 30% but they did go on an adventure to get back to his village. Haley thought about the other girls but didn't really try that hard to get back to them. Did love that the mate bind wasn't built just to reproduce like it is in a lot of stories. Definitely room for the series to grow as there were a lot of unanswered questions that could go a few different ways.

great story, needs some editing

Love this story, but it definitely needs some proof reading and editing. If that doesn’t bother you, then this story will transport you to a new planet and you’ll embark on a wondrous journey.

I LOVE the fated mates and mars need women tropes in alien books so this was right up my alley. Great story line and am looking forward to continuing this series. This reminds me of the Drixonion Warriors and of course IPB but in a different way that doesn’t feel like a carbon copy of either.

Haley and other abducted women are jettisoned from the ship after being chased by galactic police. They land on a planet with only male aliens, who haven’t seen females (of any kind) for decades.

There are a few tribes on the planet and while they are mostly hunter-gatherers, they are familiar with technology, as their ancestors left behind knowledge and access to it.

There is definitely spice, although it is a bit of a slow-burn, but they definitely make up for it later.

Please check your trigger warnings- this not is a dark alien romance (it’s really, really not) BUT the FMC does have medical issues that could be triggering for some.

All in all, I can’t wait for book 2!!
