I believe in doing whatever you want in fiction. I really do. But although that's true, I can't overlook this one thing in Reincarnated Aristocrat and that's Ars relationship with Licia. It's weird and makes me uncomfortable. Ars is an adult man mentally, a fact we've established very early on. In the scene after Charlotte said she was joining Ars, Ars gave a speech about wanting children to be happy. And then he turned around and got married to one. "What was he supposed to do?" I think it shouldn't have been included at all. Or at least let their relationship be one-sided but it's pretty clear Ars returns her feelings. Honestly, this is such a great series. I probably would check it from time to time but as a pretty important character, I know I'll see Licia more often and I'm not looking forward to that. I pretty much just skim her scenes even though I don't want to because she's a pretty cool character.
That's really my only complaint in this series. Other than that, I can respect the creator's decision. That's all.
