This story hit just about every emotion you could possibly think of, and it unfolded so well! Lila Rose has proven to be an extraordinary writer, especially when it comes to character development. You always know you’re going to get some action out of an MC romance, and while you do with the Diamond MC, this is more of a character driven story. Torch and Wren’s journey was focal, and it needed to be for who they were, and who they wanted to become. Without giving away details, I can safely say that vindication, control, acceptance, vulnerability, trust and unadulterated love describe the layers and growth this story grappled with and won! The tragedy that both Torch and Wren carry into this story is tragic and unimaginable, but they are each other’s beacon of light and together they navigate from darkness to life.
Lila Rose has the kind of talent that comes from the soul. That’s what I feel when I read any of her books. Her word wizardry is exceptional no matter the story. She’s definitely a writer that should be on everyone’s radar.

Book 2 in this series has equally won my heart over. I mean...ahhh... What is it about the writing that has me absolutely melting and in love with the story and all the characters we meet and I mean all of them. 😍
This one is about Torch and Wren, both of whom have had a tragic past and are two wounded souls doing their best to survive.
We first met Torch in the previous book where he's a club member and also known for being a little out of control type.
Then there's Wrenley, who's Raya's sister and I had loved her sister and their bond together and especially how strong they supported each other.
But something has happened in Wren's past that she's never shared with anyone and only as one wounded soul recognises the pain in the other, Torch becomes obsessed in keeping Wren safe when he hears her nightmares loud and clear.
He feels something is wrong and yet keeps his distance from her because he doesn't think he's worthy of a sweet girl like her.
When I tell you, Torch is obsessed... I mean it. He's OBSESSED and more with her and even if a single hair on her gets hurt, he goes wild with anger.
𝑺𝒉𝒆 𝒉𝒂𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒆 𝒔𝒂𝒇𝒆. 𝑰𝒇 𝑰 𝒍𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝒎𝒚 𝒐𝒃𝒔𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏, 𝑰’𝒅 𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒄𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒇𝒖𝒄𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒍𝒅 𝒂𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅 𝒎𝒆.
For Torch, Wren is a treasure and after the way he's been hurt in his past, he will never let anyone innocent get hurt especially his sweet Wren.
Wren is such a Sweet girl and really I am happy that she's found this amazing family in the Diamond MC Club along with her sister. Also, the way she understands Torch and each of his subtle gestures and also his non verbal clues, had me smiling.
The bond between Torch and Wren was just so Heart melting and Raw. Their openness and vulnerability to each other had me feeling all the strong emotions.
BUT THE WAY TORCH ADORES, TREASURES & LOVES WREN LIKE NO OTHER, HAD ME FREAKING GOING CRAZY. That man literally didn't see anything or feel anything if someone was trying to harm his Wren, then only one goal was there to destroy anyone in his path to saving his Wren.
𝑴𝒚 𝒐𝒃𝒔𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏. 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒓 𝒊𝒏 𝒎𝒚 𝒅𝒂𝒓𝒌 𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒅.
All of the club members were so much fun. Especially Henri and Blaze together. Where Henri is this sassy and fun loving guy, Blaze is a broody and jealous man and their bantering was so much fun.
I loved meeting Death and Raya again in this one and seeing how happy they were together.
Also, Saint and Gun and their antics were fun.
I seriously can't get enough of this series. Definitely looking more from Ms. Rose. Ahh... Torch and Wren are definitely going to stay with me for a long time. Absolutely loved loved this one.❤️❤️❤️❤️

Lila Rose stands out to me as one of those exceptional authors whose distinct voice truly captivates. Her talent for crafting characters is nothing short of remarkable; they leap off the page and feel so tangible that you almost believe you've meet them in real life.
It's an extraordinary skill. Each character I've come across in her books possesses their own unique mannerisms, speech patterns, and ways of thinking, which is what I find so extraordinary about her writing. She isn't afraid to take daring risks when exploring her characters' identities, and I genuinely admire that aspect of her storytelling.
Her characters are perfectly imperfect - messy, flawed and so well crafted.
Lila Rose delivers brilliant one-liners that are both epic and stunning— and swoon worthy. They are pure gold.
While some readers may perceive certain things as repetitive, I view it as a deliberate stylistic choice, particularly in this book. Her writing subtly evolves with each character, showcasing her intention to enhance their individuality. For instance, Torch and Wrenley's similar writing styles highlight their compatibility beautifully. Torch speaks fragmented and thinks that way too because he obviously has some mental issues due to is upbringing. This choice made him more real, lovable, and believable. His character was off-the charts - you feel his pain, understand his sweetness, and taste his rage.
I also appreciate seeing characters from others' perspectives, especially those destined to be main characters later on. It offers a fresh and sometimes chaotic viewpoint, as seen with Torch, who initially comes across as wildly unpredictable. I was curious about how she would bring him to life, but she managed to create someone who was not only sweet and charming but also carried a fierce protectiveness that made him endearing. The same can be said for Ryker in "Protected by the Fox Shifter."
The tender moments between Torch and Wrenley were truly touching—like the first time he hesitantly caressed her face, or when he lamented, “I made her cry,” as they began to understand one another.
This book was pure brilliance. I craved more—more insight into Torch's obsession before they became a couple, and more understanding of why he was so drawn to his "screaming beauty of the night." While she explains it, I found myself wanting deeper exploration. I couldn't bear to part with them, which is why I read it twice. I devoured it quickly, then savored every masterful detail.
There is a reason Lila Rose is on my author page. She is incredibly talented and a beautiful human. She has the type of heart that bleeds though her pages and a kindness that shines brightly.
If you're in search of a spicy read featuring a beautifully complex soul and a young woman navigating intense struggles while under his protection, then this is your book. This biker romance is filled with heart, action, and poetic prose. I wholeheartedly give it a perfect score of 10 out of 10. Lila Rose has truly hit it out of the park.
I highly recommend anything she writes—her work is genuinely inspiring.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.
This is the story of Torch and Wren. Oh what a story it is too. Make sure you check the trigger warnings for this book. It might contain some for some readers. If you have read this series then you have met Torch. He is a member of the Diamond MC and a bit of a out of control wild man. Wren is Raya's sister and if you have been reading then you know that these two share a really tight bond. I really loved that about them so I was so hoping that we would get her story. However she is holding onto a huge secret. Her past was not easy and there has been some trauma left behind that only Torch can see. It is the main reason that he is so obsessed with her. He is going to keep her safe no matter what he has to do to make that happen. She has nightmare and he has heard the way she reacts to them. However, he isn't all full throttle in her face about it. He keeps his distance from her mainly because a man like him is not worthy of a woman like her. Or so he thinks. He is actually obsessed with her. If he thinks that something is wrong then he is angry.. so so angry. Torch has a past too that is not easy and the man is really triggered at times. He is on a mission. A mission that you are going to love reading about. This book is great. I loved these characters even though Torch is a little on the wild side. He has a big heart. A fiercely protective heart. I want to acknowledge that my review might be biased as I’ve been a fan of this author for approximately ten years. I’ve been reading Lila Rose since 2014-2015 when she only had a few books published. As a reader, I’ve fallen in love with all of her characters and love how her MC series’ all connect in some way with other characters that she’s written before. The best part? I’ve seen her grow and improve as an author.
That said, I have my favorites that I have read more than a few times. After reading Torch, I think he may have just joined that list.
There was just something about Torch that drew me in. I’ve been waiting for his story because he intrigued me from the first peek.
He’s a tortured hero with past childhood trauma. The type of trauma that leaves lasting damage. However, it’s also shaped him into the loyal brother and protector he is now. It’s adorable how shy and tongue-tied he gets with Wrenley. It’s also heartbreaking how he struggles to believe he could be a man worthy of love.
Wrenley’s got a lot going on. Life hasn’t been perfect for her either. She finds comfort and safety in Torch—a man others fear and rightfully so.
Another great book by this author! I loved getting more of the previous couples from the Diamond MC, Polished P&P, and even some old MC characters. Highly recommend it and am looking forward to the author’s next release!

These two were so beautiful in the book. Both broken and yet so beautiful and when they are together, they are a sight to behold.
Wren had a tragic past which no one knows but Torch heard her demons and now his Obsession and Protective mode was on.
"My Obsession. The one shining star in my dark mind."
Torch was obsessed and it was visible in the book. In the writing, author delivered it so well.
He can burn the whole world down if anything happens to her and literally he will.
I love how welcomed Wren was in Diamond club. She literally found family there.
Torch and Wren was so complete together. Two broken pieces that fit each other like a puzzle. They were meant to be.

These two were so beautiful in the book. Both broken and yet so beautiful and when they are together, they are a sight to behold.
Wren had a tragic past which no one knows but Torch heard her demons and now his Obsession and Protective mode was on.
"My Obsession. The one shining star in my dark mind."
Torch was obsessed and it was visible in the book. In the writing, author delivered it so well.
He can burn the whole world down if anything happens to her and literally he will.
I love how welcomed Wren was in Diamond club. She literally found family there.
Torch and Wren was so complete together. Two broken pieces that fit each other like a puzzle. They were meant to be.

I enjoyed this more than i expected myself to, haha.
We met Torch briefly in previous books in this series, and he was always a bit of a side eyed one. To describe him would be nutter/psycho/crazy/insane/scary
and you know what his story, i think, was done really well, and you will love him in the end.
Torch and Wrenley have some insane trauma individually, and they way this is written is for once done well.
too many books with truama are written that the truama disappears because a man looks at them.
this showed how Wrenley knew there was something with Torch and navigated accordingly, and so did Torch.
he was so obsessed with her but so gentle.
they were so cute.
and then add a dog everyone is scared of, but he loves only wrenley and Torch ... Love it
there was action, soft moments, some spice, but everything seemed to get resolved.
I love that this author makes sure that the other halfs (outside of the club) actually have jobs in the end. I really hate when authors make the women (mainly) give up their careers and just become breeders, and that's it.
every relationship lila Rose writes shows respect by both parties. You can tell when authors have real-life experiences.

What an awesome story. I loved every minute of it 😊 Lila Rose always captures me from the beginning till the end of her stories. Torch was freaking amazing 😊

Torch has a horrifying past, and it's made him a dark fellow understandably, but luckily, he found a real family in the Diamond MC. Wrenley has gone through some things recently, but she's keeping it close to the vest, and not even telling her beloved sister who is with one of Torch's brothers. He sees there's something going on as he can't stop watching this girl he's drawn to but is convinced that he's not good enough for her. As he figures out what dims her light, they grow closer as she calms his demons while he makes her feel safe. They're perfect for each other but their journey is filled with some serious danger as he does everything he can to keep her safe. I absolutely LOVED this story as Lila Rose brought these characters to life for me. I went through so many emotions as there's so much pain these two have gone through but it was also beautiful to see them finally start to move on from their past. Of course there are quite a few twists coming in hot as the MC is doing everything they can to keep Wrenley safe, plus there are lighter moments that had me rolling in laughter! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

1.75 stars. While I liked the idea of this couple, their individual past traumas (Torch’s is even more awful than Wren’s and VERY similar to one I’ve read before…) and current drama was just too much to believe.
From Death and Raya’s book, we knew that Wren was traumatized by witnessing her father murdering her mother. In this book, we learn that the night before she witnessed that, she was drugged and gang raped by her ex and his friends. She told no one and is currently being taunted by him with photos of the event and threats of retribution if she tells anyone. 🙄 Of course this all comes to a head with a showdown that includes local dirty cops, Wren’s ex, the ex’s friends and two teams of his hired goons. It’s all ridiculous.
Major pet peeve-when authors write characters that are in college as if they are high school bullies with unlimited power over not only fellow students but faculty. The ex is in a frat “Sigma Chi Handler”. Get it? His last name is Handler and they have so much influence they added it instead of a third Greek letter and made the frat his. 🤦♀️

Torch and Wrenley have pasts that have left them emotionally scared and wary of anyone attempting to get close to them, for fear of history repeating itself. They're guarded and untrusting, but that seems to be the very thing that bonds them, in one another they see a bit of themselves. It's a shaky union, one that neither want to let go of, but don't know if it can last.
This book will break your heart long before it makes you smile, but it's so worth every ounce of pain it causes you. Torch and Wrenley live in darkness most days and when they meet they begin to see a bit of light and hope, someone else that understands, and that is how it starts. As you read their story you will see personal growth, a bond forged, and a lasting love start to take hold. It's a beautifully penned love story that should not be missed. I loved every single second of it and know you will too if you give it a chance. Highly recommend!

This is the fourth book in the Diamond MC series, and honestly, I think it's my favourite. There's always been something about Torch in the previous books that's had me intrigued and I am so glad that his story has now been told.
Before I say any more, please, please, please, read the trigger warnings for this story. Even the author requests it.
I fear that if I start talking about this story, I will give it all away.
What I will say though is that Wrenley is a strong character who has endured a lot in her personal life. Being welcomed into the Diamond MC when her sister falls in love with a member named Death, she starts to feel like she's a member of a family again. But there's a threat hanging over her - one she's kept a secret from everyone, including her sister. She meets Torch at a club get together, through interacting with his dog. Something about him makes her feel safe.
Torch was taken in by the Diamond MC's when he was a teen. He had struggled through a horrendous childhood and carries many scars - both inside and out. One night he hears Wrenley scream in her sleep and it does something to him. She becomes his addiction, his obsession and he is determined to do everything to protect her. But he can't be with her. He's too dark for her and she needs to be free, so he will protect her from a distance and watch over her at night.
What happens when he finds out what that threat is? What happens when she finds out that the higher ranked members of the MC know what happened?

Intense, gritty, powerful, heart-melting. Hitting all the feels, Torch and Wrenley have become my favorite couple in the Diamond MC. Sweet but dark, loving but harsh. Two opposites attracting. Who wouldn't fall for their own protector, one who keeps the demons at bay through the darkest hours. Wrenley is his sunshine, bringing light into his life and love into his heart. Though a dangerous, damaged soul, Torch turns sweet for Wrenley. She consumes his every thought, becoming his addiction, but in a good way. After hearing her cries in the night, he is obsessed with protecting her. Her nightmares torture her sleep, and a past she wants to forget taunts her waking hours. Grumpy meets sunshine, and they make the cutest couple. But don't look at, touch, or harm what is Torch's, or you will unleash the monster and pay the ultimate price.

Torch would have to be my favourite book out of this series. Two broken souls searching for something or someone to ease the torment that rages within. Torch and Wrenley are drawn to each other like a moth to a flame. Their story is filled with grit, emotion and turmoil. As danger lurks Torch will do anything to protect what is his. My heart broke for what these two had endured at the hands of others. I loved how Wrenley felt safe with Torch and her acceptance of his past and how he protected people. This story had me not only on the edge of my seat but had so many emotions swirling within. Their road to forever was not an easy one but the love they felt for each other was beautiful. Your heart will be wrenched in every direction but these two will bury themselves deep under your skin.

I wondered how Lila Rose could humanize such a tortured soul and endear Torch to all of us. She did it!
Especially with such heavy topics as his background and what Wrenley had endure.
Those topics cannot be easy to write and I’m very appreciative that she didn’t get too graphic. It was extremely well written so you felt for them without being difficult to read.
It was right from the start you could tell that Torch & Wrenley were both perfectly matched, damaged warriors.
I couldn’t put their story down until the end.
Loved revisiting all the other MC members & family too.
Lila, love the dedication to your momma!! You did a beautiful job of writing Torch and your mom would be proud. ♥️📚📖

Lila has done it again! Torch is the 4th book in the Diamond MC series. Reading the previous ones enhances the story, but is not necessary. This was Wrenly and Torch’s story and you guys i must say just be prepared for heck of a journey. Torch is different from his brothers in the club. His character is a bit on the darker side and has suffered horrible things in his past. I loved that wren loved him even though he was a bit intimidating. They are both fighting their own demons. I absolutely loved Their connection which was an instant one. However their journey was full of bumps and curves along the way. I loved that Torch beyond his darkness he had this beautiful intensity to him that made him who he was. He saw wren as his brightest light to his darkness and that was so beautiful. The way wren loved him unconditionally was perfect too. I truly enjoyed this book and highly recommend

Wrenley had a secret..a secret that has come back go haunt her. She scared to tell her sister and her new family, but she doesn't know what else to do. Luckily, Torch had been watching her, closely for months, when he sees her distress, finding the cause and terminating it is his only response. She is his obsession and her do anything for her. I love a tortured MMC and watching them get their HEA. I’ve been waiting for Torch’s story since we first saw him and got a glimpse of his tortured soul. Wren is tortured herself after some recent trauma. This is a beautiful story of these two tortured souls coming together to find their HEA. I adored the softer side of Torch and his inner monologue and am so happy he got his happy ending. Harley (dog) was a perfect addition and I knew Torch was worth it when he protected Harley.
Also theirs a cameo of some old favorites that I loved!!

Torch the tortured soul.
This is a story of the sweetest love and finding your person who was meant for you. They've both got horrific pasts that have affected them on a soul deep level. As I was reading about Torch and his girl, I began to see that he would need a special person to let his guard down, to trust, and to accept all his flaws. And she would need to have experienced something terrible herself to understand him. They complete each other. It's was a difficult read at times, but I now can't wait for the next in the series. I hope it's Tech. I think he's going to find his love at Polished.😉

This is the story of Wrenly and Torch as they travel the path to a relationship. Torch is different from other members of the Diamond motorcycle club members. He is a darker character who has suffered horrible things in his past. It makes him a bit psychotic but Wrenly loves him in spite of that. I truly enjoyed reading this book and while I couldn't wait to see the conclusion, I didn't want the story to end. There is some spicy heat in this romance story as well as some angst. There are threats that need to be dealt with. Read this book, you will feel so much for this traumatized couple and fall in love with their uniqueness

What an absolute amazing read! Torch and Wren both stole my heart! The things both of them have went through just broke my heart. I’m so happy they have each other and the rest of the club! This is what a real family is about! I could not put this book down! So many favorite characters in this book! This was a truly wonderful story with a fantastic storyline that really brought out all the feels! I loved the chemistry between Torch and Wren! Harley was awesome too! I very highly recommend!! This book delivered all of the Sons of Anarchy vibes I was craving. We have a trauma survivor FMC and MMC. Both has suffered horrific pasts and their bond forges effortlessly. Somehow Torches instability turns into the best protection ever for Wren. Now this novel will take you through some seriously traumatic experiences, be forewarned it isn’t for the faint of heart. Yes we get a very delightful HEA but they had to work for it. If you like MC novels but don’t want to commit to 600 pages, this is a good series to start.- Marhen

Yet again, I am left breathless with Torch (Diamond MC Book 4 by Lila Rose. Torch and Wrenley’s story is a gripping, heart-pumping, can’t-put-down read. Lila Rose delivers another dark, mesmerizing MC romance, but what really stands out are the swoon-worthy moments courtesy of Torch. My heart shattered for him, especially as we learned about the trauma he endured as a child, making his instant connection to Wrenley all the more powerful. She, too, has suffered, and watching their love unfold through danger, obstacles, and undeniable passion was truly a joy to experience. This book is a rollercoaster of emotions, and every second was worth it.

Wow! I absolutely loved this book. Amazing characters and wonderful plot. Very beautifully written and easy to read.
Torch and Wren’s story was so touching. They are both wounded and have painful pasts. Torch is obsessed with Wren and he is highly protective of his family.
The connection and bond Torch and Wrenley shared was so special. I loved their chemistry and passion. They were made for each other.
Overall I loved this book very much. If you’re looking for a slow burn, dark, MC romance then you’re going to love it.
