The information in this book is really well laid out and easy to read. There are some really great tips in here too for all stages of a woman's life. I really recommend this to all my ladies! The recipes look fun and I can't wait to try some of them!
NOTE: In the Introduction - which I mostly skipped - it talks about gender ideology and pronouns. That doesn't vibe with me, if that doesn't bother you, then great, but for those it does bother skip the intro. The rest of the book is blessedly free of all of that✌🏻
Muuy interesante e informativo. Habla sobre todos los sistemas que se conectan o tienen relación con el ciclo Menstrual. Que hormonas están en juego y como nutrirlas y cuidarlas mas. Tiene un enfoque de alimentación muy intuitivo, y holístico. Donde la comida es medicina, que me encanta. Las recetas se ven todas muy ricas y posibles de hacer, de momento no he intentado hacer ninguna tho. A veces se siente un poco repetitivo porque como todos los sistemas trabajan en conjunto, mejorarlos es parecido en todos los casos. Tienden a mencionarse varias veces los mismos ingredientes, o las mismas técnicas. Pero en esencia la repetición refuerza la importancia de incorporar esos alimentos en nuestra dieta. Es para leerlo varias veces y para tenerlo a mano siempre.
I could write here all the critiques I annotated in this book (I’m a nutritionist and therapist) but I won’t. Because overall I think it’s a brilliant book on hormone health and I learnt quite a bit from it. I don’t think the recipes are super special, but the information is really well presented.
