Watching this hero and heroine dance around their obvious attraction is deliciously frustrating. It's the kind of read where you want the hero to kiss the girl already, but you know if he does the story will be almost over so you persevere through the almosts in gleeful anticipation.

Beth's story tugged at my heartstrings. She comes from a past that has left glaring gaps in her psyche. When we first meet her she's living her life from a scripted five year plan. There is no room for variations. Rigid. Desperate to fill the emptiness with busyness. But God has His own plans and they veer in a whole different direction. It takes a blizzard and a series of life experiences Beth could never have imagined to turn her around.

Her abandoned wonder at the simplest things really touched a chord with me. For all her academic success, she is really a lost soul. You might say Dan is just what the doctor ordered. A full time pharmacist (and part-time rancher), he has the prescription that could save Beth's life...if she has the courage to follow through with it.

I really enjoyed the story and characters in this book. Its a very sweet story of two people that find each other in a unexpected time and place.
Both of the main characters had upcoming plans in their lives, and a "unexpected romance" was a suprise for both of them...
I enjoyed the grandmother in this story, she seemed like a cute and loveable lady!
The little girl is very sweet and I love the way that she enjoys playing the piano. It brought back some memories for me.

I plan on reading more books by this author.

Exactly what I expect from this type of book but better than average. I liked the characters and wouldn’t mind going back to Paradise.

My first read by TINA RADCLIFFE was The Rancher's Reunion. The beginning remains one of my all time favorites. Of course, that put me on the path to seeking other books by the author. Stories involving a cowboy are without a doubt my favorites. When I spotted STRANDED WITH THE RANCHER by MS RADCLIFFE, I knew I’d be purchasing and reading it.

Beth Rogers has a plan. A carefully thought-out plan. One she had no intentions of altering. However, it seems God has a different plan altogether.

Dan Gallagher finds himself helping a friends, relative. A rather pretty relative if he was so inclined to admit. What he thought would be a ride to the airport, turns into something so much more.

If you are searching for a book with high peaks, and lots of action, STRANDED WITH THE RANCHER is not the book for you. However, if you are looking for an amazing, unique, heartwarming story, mixed with some old fashion chivalry, STRANDED WITH THE RANCHER is the book for you.

I didn’t rush through this book. Oh no, I took my time. Time to absorb each and every word. STRANDED WITH THE RANCHER is not your typical, predictable Love Inspired romance. MS RADCLIFFE is a magnificent writer. I was blown away with her great lines. She had me smiling and in awe, so many times throughout the entire story. Both the main and secondary characters were memorable. I thought I knew how the ending would unfold, but I was wrong. MS RADCLIFFE took the expected and flipped it to the unexpected. I loved every ounce of it.

I can only hope that there is another in the works about a certain someone’s brother. Please, oh please, tell me my thoughts are correct.

I enjoyed Stranded with the Rancher by Tina Radcliffe. Like her other books, the characters are very real. Beth is struggling to find her place in the world, dealing with being stranded by a blizzard in a stranger's house, and getting a real taste of family life and the life of a rancher. Other reviewers commented that this was a medical romance but I didn't see it that way. Beth is a doctor, Dan is a pharmacist, and Dan's mom ends up in the hospital - those are parts of the story not the story. While Beth deals with her issues, Dan has issues of his own to resolve. Tina Radcliffe's writing is very descriptive. I especially loved and laughed at the snickerdoodle making scene as I could imagine being in that kitchen. I'm glad the characters followed the logical course of events (I don't want to ruin the story with a spoiler.) because that made the story more real. Great story!

For full disclosure, I did receive a copy of this book from a contest I won at www.Seekerville.blogpost.com I already had a copy though. This free book had no bearing on my review. I loved it any way.

"Gotta-love-me" characters shine in this sweet love story about letting go of the past and embracing the opportunities of the present.

After her mother abandoned her, Beth Rogers doesn't let anyone too close, which is hard to keep up when she's stranded and at the mercy of Dan Gallager, his sweet-as-gingerbread mom, and his adorable, lonely little girl.

Dan Gallager hasn't considered a relationship since his wife left him and his daughter during a tough time in his life. He has his daughter to think of now. But Beth Rogers' practical grace--and the mysterious pain she hides--has him thinking of her a lot more than a man-with-a-past should. She's only in town until the snow lets up. Can he overcome his fears and ask her to stay before it's too late?

This story is heart-warming, true-to-life. Made me want to linger on with the characters long after the story was over.

4.30 stars - mild pg13

Nice romance and story. Not everything "fit", some parts seemed a bit contrived or unrealistic. But, overall I enjoyed the romance, characters and setting. This book is the second in a series and it can stand alone; I did not read the first book (Mending the Doctor's Heart), but have already purchased the third (Safe in the Fireman's Arms).

So far my favorite story by Tina Radcliffe was her short story in the Hope for the Holidays Contemporary Collection; it's the reason I've purchased other books by her. She also writes romantic comedies as Tina Russo.

Beautifully written with great descriptive detail. This story is a sweet, tender romance with Tina’s signature humor… GG is hilarious 😊 I would love to have some of her shirts! The relationship among the family members is pure and touching. This book is a reminder that Christ weaves our lives in and out of one another’s… He determines our steps.
I recommend this book for your enjoyment.

While I like the inspirational line, this one was very heavy handed. A shame because the characters, especially the secondary characters, were delightful. I enjoy stories about people who are people of faith, but this was too evangelical and preachy for my taste.

Another lovely story from one of my favorites. I love the way Tina weaves story and humor together seamlessly in to a pretty perfect read. This was a fun one with a snowbound family, an adorable little girl and plenty of surprises along the way. Really enjoyed this read.

I enjoyed this story of a female doctor, Beth, with a difficult upbringing and Dan, a rancher with a wonderful family. Beth gets stranded with Dan’s mom and daughter due to a blizzard while she’s on her way to NYC to take a medical position she has dreamed about and worked towards.

I've enjoyed all of Tina's books but this one really pulled me in! I know this book will stay with me for a long while. I read a ton of books and all of them don't always stay with me but this one will! I loved Dan and Beth's story. The two characters were so believable and enjoyable to read. I loved the other characters too. Beth is only in Paradise, Colorado to visit her cousins but is on her way to New York City to finally reach a goal she's had for a long time. She's a doctor and has wanted to practice there ever since she started medical school. She's finally going to reach her goal! BUT, she can't fight mother nature and that means a huge blizzard that decides to come right when she's on her way to the airport to catch her flight. Dan is doing her cousin a favor by driving her to the airport but the blizzard makes it impossible to get there. They end up at his family's ranch where Beth meets Dan's daughter, his mother and eventually his brother. Beth is a city-girl but she finds that ranch living is great. However, she's not going to give up her NYC dream, even though she falls in love with Dan and the town of Paradise. Her past has told her that she's "unlovable" so she can't consider staying. Dan has experienced a city-girl before when he married one so he isn't going to go through that again with Beth. I loved Dan's daughter and Dan's mom. They were great characters - so down to earth people and then his brother was such a straight shooter too! A fun book to read and one that will stay with you for a long time!

A sweet love story that will warm your heart.

Dr. Elizabeth (Beth) Rogers has a five year plan and she is sticking to it. The only problem is a severe snowstorm in Paradise, Colorado might just ruin her plan.

Beth finds herself being rescued by Dan Gallagher, the local pharmacist who also is part of the town's snowmobile rescue team. When Beth ends up at the Gallagher farm she quickly bonds with Dan's sweet daughter Amy and Elsie, Dan's quirky mom with a penchant for funny saying sweatshirts.

Beth has been abandoned by her mom and raised for a few years by her relatives in Paradise during her high school years. She has worked hard to become an internal medicine doctor. You can sense Beth's pain and her lack of trust in people and the walls she constantly puts up.

Dan has trouble getting over his past when his former wife abandons him as she refused to live a quiet country life.

Beth and Dan have many obstacles to overcome on their way to seeing if they can have a relationship. Beth discovers her faith anew and they both learn to trust God's plans for their lives.

The Gallagher family is a warm and welcoming family that readers will want to see more of in this sweet series.

A perfect inspirational romance story!
Paradise, Colorado, is a place I like to visit….a charming little community filled with heart-warming folks I like getting acquainted with through their stories of faith and love. Hero Dan and heroine Beth are both strong, self-sacrificing people who each have trust issues. The development of their attraction felt so real as they learned how to trust their feelings, trust God, and make second chances possible. All the entertaining secondary characters touch the book with humor and smiles. Author Radcliffe infuses her writing with just the right amount of detail so that you feel like you are stranded in a Colorado blizzard or sitting in the popular town café munching on an oatmeal cinnamon raisin cookie. My favorite quote: “This has all the earmarks of being a God thing.” Yes, perfect!

I read this because the author is a page at the library where I volunteer. She turned out to be an excellent writer--great vocabulary, good storyline, excellent weaving of Christian faith in with plot and along with insightful wisdom and discernment. It reminds me of the hundreds of Good Housekeeping stories I read growing up. Recommended for a light and quick read. Not your average romance novel.

I love it when a Love Inspired book makes me smile. Tina's did exactly that. It was deep I also like that there was another love interest. The mom and her shirts with sayings was a nice addition. And the hero is one I'd go out with. You go, Tina.

Another great book! I love her characters, they are easy to like, not whiny at all, her storylines are true to life and I love the way she teaches that God and the Lord are the only answers that make a difference! I hope there are more books in this series!
