Sheriff Jonathan MacSweeny is in charge of keeping the peace in Prospect Springs. Frontier living isn't what it used to be. It's hard to survive in the New Old West and it's even harder when your area doesn't exactly embrace supernaturals--and you howl at the moon. That being said, he's good at his job and has a reputation with the ladies. When he learns his childhood sweetheart is to be married off to the town sleazebag, he goes in guns blazing to see to it she's his. Problem is, Molly isn't the same girl he remembers from ten years prior. Now she's a gun-toting, foul-mouthed, vixen with a badge of her own.

Pike's Peak (Shifter Paranormal Romance):
Preventing world domination has its perks--brawn, brains, and now ... beauty.

Pike Kinsley is your run-of-the-mill, supernatural--fighting evil at all costs. Humans view him as a superhero. He doesn't want fame or glory. He just wants to live his life in peace, kill bad guys and scratch a carnal itch when need be.

Tipping the Scales (Dragon Shifter Paranormal Romance)
Zarek Dracodomus has one slight problem. If he doesn't mate by the end of the year, he'll never have sex again. When he sees a tall seductress, he knows she's the one. This headstrong sex goddess manages to turn the tables on the immortal playboy and Zarek finds himself racing to beat time, not only to remain sexually active but to win Keren's heart as well. Little does he know he's been yanked out of his tedium by a woman sworn to kill him and all of his kind.

Warriors of Darkness (Paranormal Shifter Romance):
Deryn Murray has her work cut out for her. Not only is she determined to prevent Alejandro Vargas's death--one she's seen over and over in her dreams--but she must keep anyone from learning her true identity--that of a slayer, and sworn enemy of all the supernaturals. Protecting the Colonel of the alternate realm military base threatens not only her life but her very heart. Despite his refusal to cooperate, Alejandro has broken through her emotional barriers and holds the power to hurt her worse than anyone ever has.

Shifters

Really enjoyed reading these stories. Each one was good. Different stories and some had difficulty convincing their Mates. Highly recommend this box set.

Bk 1: Kitsune's Raven was a cute read, that kind of ends with a cliffhanger of sorts. It is a wonderful beginning to a series and I hope to read more soon. She is a fox and he a raven and they are from rival clans. Can they overcome all the things in their lives????

Bk 2: The Claiming is a short but happy tale of Toni and Xander. He is ready to become the Alpha of his pack, but he needs his mate by his side first. Toni is human and a bit resistant to the idea of werewolves.

Bk 3: Savage (Underground Kings Book 0) had me a bit confused at first. But it made me very curious as to what was going on. Mia has been through hell and finds Coen and Drake. They claim to want to help her, but are they telling the truth or just trying to get her to do what they want??? I definitely want to know more and plan to read the next book as soon as I can.

Bk 4: Love Like Wings was a strangely sweet tale about a dragon and his mate. Alexia had some issues from her past and Sebastian has a tough time trying to get through her walls. I teared up at the end and was sad to see the book end. Perhaps we will get more about them in the future, least I can hope. :)

Bk 5: Claiming his Mate was interesting. There had never been a wolf/human paring...until now??? Eric was in love with Lexi but she is human. He left and she told his family she was pregnant, they never told Eric. Eric comes back to town and is unaware he has a son. Can Lexi ever forgive him, is the boy really his? You have to read this to find out.

Bk 6: Complication - Laken is a black panther and she runs into Ky a polar bear on a case. They met years ago and haven't seen each other since...sparks fly. This is book 1 and I really want to read more soon!!

Bk 7: When the Snow Flies - Anna has had so much heartache lately it just isn't fair. She meets Grael a snow dragon and they are very much drawn to each other. Short and sweet happily ever book.

Bk 8: Unbroken is about Pegasi shifters. Not a type of shifter I have read before but very interesting. Davian and Emma are great together. I wanted to know more about their life after they leave the island, maybe there will be another book later??

Bk 9: Not your Bitch - I was torn reading this one, but glad I stuck it out. I really hated how her boyfriend was treating her and that she kept allowing it. I was so very happy when she finally was with Linc.

Bk 10: Ngyong - was interesting and I want to read more. I still have questions and have to go stalk the author's page and see if I can find some answers. :)

Bk 11: Changling's Revenge is about Peyton a changling that lived and Basil, her hellhound mate. Another new type of shifter for me, but I have always loved all things Fae. Peyton has questions and hires Basil to help her get them. While she does get some, there are many more questions that still need to be answered. This is another author that I will be stalking to get more from.

I received an arc for an honest review.

Blaze of Glory (Prospect Springs Shifters)

Short read, pretty easy to follow along once you realize it takes place in the future but reads like the past wild west days. It doesn't give much detail about what happened in the past or the relationships or families.

Pike’s Peak (League of the Unnatural)

This story didn't give much besides the basics. The pace of the book made it hard to connect or understand the characters feelings. The entire thing could've been a prologue to something more. Some can only hold your attention for short stories and this seems to be one of them.

Tipping the Scales (Stop Dragon My Heart Around)

I love dragon stories, this one was great. It was way too short but good none the less.

Warriors of Darkness

Good read, kind of confusing to keep up with all that's going on but once you get the names and people straight its an easy follow. I'd love to hear what happens next and see what they all get into in future books.

This box set is a mixture of Sci-Fi and Paranormal but all with the common thread of red-hot Alpha Males. These four stories are very different from each other but they are all well-written which means that my enjoyment of them was second to none. I think if I had to choose a favourite it would have to be Pike's Peak but then I would probably change my mind depending on the weather. All of these stories are good, there isn't one that lets down the box set in my opinion.

If you like Mandy M Roth and her shifter stories then I really can't see how you would lose out if you got this box set!

The stories in the Alpha Shifter Seductions Boxed Set are a great selection of Mandy Roth stories for a great price. I bought this back in March, and this was my first really good sampling of Ms. Roth's work. Once I finished this box set, I was a fan for life. Each book tells a complete story, but it also part of a series that continues with the story of another set of main characters. I like being able to read a book and not have to immediately buy another book to finish the story of the main characters. This set is absolutely worth the purchase!

This collection was a little more out there than I was expecting but I did enjoy reading them. My favorite was the last story, Warriors of Darkness. I like when an author brings the supernatural out into the open to live and interact with the humans and this story did it very well. I would recommend this collection.

Another good read from Mandy Roth

First question...does this mean I have to buy more books? LOL, I enjoyed each of these but all are book ones in various series...guess that means I have to look for more! Amazon, here I come! Good reading choices, great value and shapeshifters galore, I recommend!

Really liked Warriors of Darkness

While the short stories were okay, not a big fan of gratuitous sex scenes, I really like Warriors of Darkness. That story alone is worth getting the boxed set. Or if not a 99 cent deal any longer, get that book alone. It was enough different to be refreshing.

The first three were good, though I wish they were longer and the heroine of the first book had remained a harass and not been made barefoot and pregnant as the entirety of her being. The last one was ok, but felt like a bad soap opera at times.

Good compilation

A good set of supernatural stories by Mandy M. Roth. These stories have everything from Vampires and Werewolves to Dragon shifters and Avatars. A must for those who enjoy supernatural romance.
