Can an adorable menace of a dog, a bakery under fire, and one irresistible firefighter change this curvy girl's life forever?

Alessandro Banger
I’m used to my dog causing trouble. It’s what he does.
But breaking into my sassy neighbor’s house might be a new low even for him.
Or else he’s a genius, because Jesus. I did not know we moved in next to an angel.
Heidi Marsh is stunning . . . especially when she’s telling me off.
Or climbing my body to kiss me stupid.
But my fiery little baker is terrified to give me her heart. I intend to find out why.
I just didn’t expect to learn that someone is threatening her and her bakery.
Hell no. Not today. Not any day.
I’m saving my sunshine, and then I’m making her mine.

Heidi Marsh
Of course my new neighbor is a stupid-hot firefighter.
And of course, he has a menace of a dog.
I am not mentally prepared to deal with either of these things.
I have a bakery to open.
But when Alessandro smirks at me, the only thing I can think about is kissing it off his gorgeous face.
Too bad love is the one thing that scares me the most.
Falling for him would be so freaking easy…
Especially when he finds out that someone is threatening me.
I didn’t know I needed a hero, but he’s determined to be mine anyway.
All I have to do is find the courage to let him…

I guess it was okay??? I'm not sure honestly; I think something's missing, but I can't pinpoint it.

Anyway, it was insta-love, of course. They're neighbors but only met when Alessandro's dog crashed into Heidi's house. He knew right then and there that she's the one for him. But she's hesitant because of her abandonment issue. 🤷‍♀️

She was planning to open her bakery, but she's been receiving a lot of notes/letters that it's not going to work out and she would only fail. Alessandro found out about it and tried to look for who's behind those letters. And lots of disasters happened in Heidi's bakery. They eventually found out the culprit, and next thing I knew it was HEA.

I mean, it wasn't bad, but for some reason I didn't also enjoy it. Idk, maybe I'm just not in the mood. 🤷‍♀️

Heidi is trying to make her dream come true as a baker, and she meets a gaint firedog who eats up her goods, lol. She meets the owner Alessandro when he goes over to pick up his menace of a dog. The chemistry is there from the start, and he does everything in his power to make it up to her. Even helps with her bakery.

Sparks fly when he finds out someone is threatening her and wants to keep his sunshine close. Heidi does stall a bit because of her past, like her sisters they were abaonded, and she's having a tiny hard time believing Aless wants someone like her. Which? I don't think anything was wrong with her? There is mystery drama and the building. And I believe one more sister who gets her HEA.

As much as I love silverspoon. Maybe the author needs a new town. There's so much going on in this town with so many side books. But anywho.

No ow/om drama, no cheating, slight secondary character, drama, sexy times, Virgin gal no manwhore

Very cute.
I absolutely adore when there’s a big goofy pup, and Rivin was so cute with his big trouble causing self.

Safe
No cheating
Virgin heroine (never kissed, never dated so he gets all her firsts, but he can't say the same and the double standards infuriated me and ruined it for me)
Quote (Heroine status),
"I want to be brave like they are and fall headfirst
into love. Instead, I hide from even the possibility of it. I’ve never seen a man
naked. I’ve never been kissed. Hell, I’ve never even been on a single date."
end quote
Hero experienced (he fucked a girl once when he was drunk and regretted it, he was 18, no one else before or since, but that doesn't change the fact that he fucked a girl and gave her all his firsts)
Quote (Hero's status),
"Maybe I'm flirting with you because you've got my cock throbbing," I
murmur, my voice a soft purr. "And maybe not all firefighters are assholes
who jump into bed with every gorgeous woman they come across. Just so
we're clear, you'll be the first since I was eighteen." I pause. “And of the
two, you’ll be the only one I don’t regret.”
Her gaze flies to mine, her eyes wide with surprise.
"Yeah," I growl, holding her stare. "I said what I said."
end quote *heavy eye roll*
No OM/No OW
No gross condom use (although the heroine yelled out 'condom' and the hero did not want anything separating them, and the heroine agreed)
No separation
No third act break up
Rom com I wish I enjoyed.
HEA

I just don't perk up with Nichole Rose books anymore, and I was right to be iffy on this one. This rom com was like her good ol' rom coms I missed, but she had to ruin it with the stupid double standard! Every time he claims her, yells 'mine!', says that she belongs only to him and she will know no other, that her virginity is his, ...rather than swoon, I get so mad because I keep thinking, he can't say that he is all hers! When he claims her virginity and is ecstatic that she has only known him, don't you think she would want the same from her man??? Why? Why always with the double standards?! Instead of swooning, I cringed and got mad whenever he was OTT possessive with her because of it. Not a pleasant reading experience when instead of swooning you get mad instead. He could have easily been a virgin like her, there is no shame in virgin hero, especially since he wanted to have what his parents have and give himself entirely to his one and only...but he didn't.
Quote,
"I don’t drip charm. In fact, flirting
isn’t something I do. I don’t give a fuck about most women, quite frankly. I
didn’t go into the fire service to sleep around. I leave that to guys like
Dacen Abrams, who fucks anything that moves and prefers it that way.
He’s not the only one. Half the department hops from bed to bed.
I don’t.
I knew early on that I want the kind of forever my parents have or
nothing. I’m not saying I’m a saint because I’m not. I lost my virginity one
drunken night when I was eighteen. I’ve regretted that shit ever since. I
swore then that I’d wait as long as I had to wait for my one, and I’ve kept
that vow"
end quote
I hated that we had all the elements of a good DV, only for Nichole Rose to ruin it because the guy must have at least one OW in his past! Also, the 'I was young and drunk and regret it' is a stupid fucking excuse.
Enough of that, here is the summary and I will be spoiling it so I can remember the story. Heidi is a baker and someone is threatening her and her bakery. A black lab broke into her kitchen and ate the filling of her Kolaches, knocked over the spices, trotted over to then sleep on her couch. The dog was by far my favorite part of the story. It is the fire department dog belonging to Alessandro. He sees her, falls for her and she is apprehensive of falling for a man because she and her siblings were abandoned by her birth parents. So she has abandonment issues and guards her heart. She is one of the 5 sisters in this universe. He says she is his and it is final. With his flirting and OTT ways, later in the book he finds out that she is being threatened. She was sent moldy bread with a note attached. Sheriff Dillon is on the case, but her bakery has been vandalized and her sisters and their husbands are there to help clean up. Big spoiler to the whodunnit, We find out it is the landlord. He scams people into signing a 5 years long contract only to somehow push the lease holder to break it and he collect a fat check as a result. In between this mystery solving there is your usual NR flirting, fucking and romantic gestures between the couple, which did nothing for me because I cringe every time he claims her, knowing that she can never claim all of him. The double standards made me so frustrated that I could not see past it and enjoy the book. The thing that breaks my heart is if it were a DV, I would praise the book and it would be on my reread list, but because it isn't, I hated it. It is just my personal tastes, my personal preference, and how I feel about the trope.
So Heidi needs to clean the destroyed bakery with her sisters and their husbands, then later she sneaks into her bakery and the landlord sets fire to it, Rivin the dog is by her side growling (best part of the book is this dog) he saves her from the fire, and she is taken to the hospital by Alessandro. He asks her to marry him, she says yes, she says she loves him and he says he loves her too. All of the feel good moments I wish I felt were there.
To be fair, Alessandro was a good hero, he was a hero I would have swooned over and he was great throughout the book, unrelenting in his love for Heidi and never leaving her side. There was no doubt in his love for her and I loved that. He was a romantic hero who was stuck like glue to her and supported her the whole time. Heidi is a good heroine, she was sweet, tenacious and selfless, and jumped into the relationship although she was protecting her heart at first. One detail that Alessandro picked up and so did I, is she was not angry at the beginning at Rivin eating the filling of her kolaches, but she was worried that raw garlic and onion would make the dog sick. I love animals, so knowing that she was upset because Rivin could have been sick and not at all upset that he ate the filling and destroyed her spice cabinet, warmed my heart. I did like them both, and I really wanted to get past my hatred of the experience hero and the virgin heroine, even if he fucked once and regretted it, it still happened and emotionally I could not get past it. I wish I enjoyed it, but I couldn't, especially since it was a long time since NR gave us a DV and a long time since she gave us a light hearted rom com. I think if you love her rom coms and you don't care about the double standards, then you will love it. As for me, I will NOT be rereading this.
This book is very similar to "Aspen's Hero" (a Nichole Rose DV romance), about a heroine baker that was shot at in her bakery, and a hockey hero that claims her and was sweet and unrelenting in his pursuit and love for her, both investigating with Sheriff Dillon. Noah is protective of Aspen and her bakery was vandalized...I mean the story is almost identical, except Noah saved himself for his one! I want to reread that instead. Now "Aspen's Defense" I do recommend!

Heidi is trying to open up her own bakery, what she’s not expecting is a dog to up root her baking, and with that dog his gorgeous owner, who happens to be her next store neighbor. One look and Alessandro is all in, Heidi in the other hand may need some convincing and she’s not so easy to trust. The banter and chemistry between them was so good. When someone threatens Heidi, Alessandro doesn’t hesitate to step it.

OMG!!! WOW!! Fab*u*lous Absolutely love this one!! I couldn't put this one down. This was a nice read, a little longer than I usually read but so worth it.

Alessandro and Heidi met when he has to come over to her house because of his dog. Heidi is trying to prefect her kolaches she's going to open a bakery in SSF Sassy & Sweet. While Alessandro joined the fire department about a year ago, his dog is also a member. Alessandro heard of his new neighbor but didn't want to find out about her because he wants to find a love like his parent's have. While Heidi and her sister grew up with an adopted family that loved them. When Heidi goes to check on something she hears a crash in her kitchen she goes and finds a dog licking her bowls. When Heidi tries to get the dog to leave he goes into her living room and lays on her couch. Heidi checks the dog tags and finds out his name is Rivin and he's a fire dog. So Heidi send Dillion Dillon's Heart a message to have someone from the fire department come and get their dog. After Alessandro shows up to pick up Rivin both him and Heidi are eyeing each other up. Heidi realizes that Alessandro is her neighbor, she's not mad about Rivin breaking in and eating her food. Alessandro finds out that Heidi is upset with him because Rivin could have gotten into something he shouldn't. Alessandro tells Heidi that he wants her and intends to win her over. The following day Heidi shows up at her bakery trying to get it ready to open. All of Heidi's sister's and brother's in laws are there to help. Alessandro shows up at the bakery with kolaches, that he bribed one of the fireman to make and mets all of her sister's and brother's in laws. Alessandro leans a hand helping install the counter. Heidi just wants to open her own bakery, but someone is against this plan and threatens her. She thinks it's just a prank. One day she bakes from home when a huge dog runs into her house and eats her kolaches. Rivin is the firehouse dog and his owner is Heidis new neighbor. Alessandro just wants to grab his dog, but when he sees Heidi his whole freaking universe turns upside down. He sees her and instantly knows she is his One, but Heidi had a tough upbringing so he needs patience with his sweet woman. Instalove, sweet, steamy, OTT, romantic and safe with an awesome HEA and a bit of action but no OP drama 😍😍😍😍

My reviews always contain spoilers, I write them so I can remember the story.

Heidi is the last Marsh sister to find love, she has been avoiding it because of the girl’s crazy childhood. (Recap: the 5 sisters were neglected and abandoned by their drug addict parents, they were separated for a while in foster care until they were all adopted by a family.)

Heidi is a baker and is almost ready to open her new bakery in Silver Spoon, she’s working on her recipe of savory kolaches to make sure they are perfect while chatting with one of her sisters. When she hears a noise in the kitchen she goes to investigate, she finds a big black lab, eating the meat mixture and crushing her dough. He makes a huge mess and then trots over to her couch and stretches out of a nap. His tags say he belongs to the local fire department, she gets in touch with them and a someone tells her they will come collect him. Enter our hero, Alessandro, he’s a fire fighter and he is instantly in love with Heidi. He tries to flirt, she’s not impressed but that doesn’t deter Alessandro. He tells her he’s going to make her his and that he’s no playboy, he’s only been with one girl when he was a drunk 18 year old, something he regrets. He’s been saving himself for the right woman since that day. The furry friend who gets them to meet is Rivin, he’s the fire dog who is great at his job but on his off time is a big goof who is super lovable. He and Heidi have a sweet bond.
When Heidi gets a threatening note at her home Alessandro insists that she’s staying at his house for safety. Heidi gives in pretty quickly to her attraction to him and they have their first time together, she’s a virgin. Their chemistry is good and he is super sweet and loving.
A bit of drama with her bakery, someone really doesn’t want her to open it. One night the bakery is trashed, almost everything is broken in there. Heidi is devastated, Alessandro is pissed and gets his fellow fire fighters to meet him at the bakery the next morning to help clean it up. Sheriff Dillion is looking into who could have done this, he learns she was getting threatened notes, so they focus on other local businesses who would be impacted by a new bakery. Her sisters and brothers in law all show up to help with cleanup. The guys head out to question a few people who may have wanted to stop the bakery from opening. They learn that it’s not the bakery but the building that’s the problem. Turns out the landlord was running a realtor scene. He gets tenants to sign a 5 year lease with a clause that gives him a payout if the business closes. So far 5 other businesses have closed in 3 years. When Heidi and Alessandro talk they realize Heidi has been scammed, she goes to the bakery the next day to find her lease. The landlord is there ready to set fire to the building. Thankfully she had taken Rivin with her and he saves her from the fire. Alessandro and the fire department show up to put out the fire and save Heidi. She had called Alessandro and he and the sheriff heard the landlord telling Heidi he was going to blame her for the fire and take the insurance payout.
Sheriff Dillion goes out to find the landlord and Alessandro goes with Heidi and Rivin to the hospital for treatment. He proposes to her, lots of I love yous and a few weeks later he takes her to her new bakery. The firehouse did a firefighter calendar to raise money to help pay for everything. A sweet epilogue five years later with a couple of kids and another on the way. Alessandro is now the fire chief and the bakery is a big success.

Heidi Marsh is stunning…especially when she’s telling me off.

A baker that's afraid of falling in love, a firefighter that falls in love at first sight.. That's the entire premise of this book. Plus ofcourse the dog. Who can resist trouble making pups that have a penchant for drawing our couple together. I really had a good time reading this book. I read this book in one sitting because I enjoyed it so much. If you want a quick read with smiles a plenty this one will warm your heart.

Sterling Quality

“Saving His Sunshine” is the first book in the Silver Spoon Falls Heroes series. For those unfamiliar with Nichole Rose (and Loni Ree): Silver Spoon Falls is a small fictional town in Texas populated almost exclusively by bachelor billionaires who grumble about the magic spring water that causes residents to fall in love at the drop of a hat. We were first introduced to Silver Spoon Falls with its MC, but have since also met members of its BDSM club amongst others.

The book opens with the FMC Heidi in her home kitchen trying to perfect a kolach recipe for the impending opening of her very own bakery which is her life’s dream. Temporarily distracted, Heidi leaves the kitchen only to return a short time later to find a large black Labrador unapologetically eating her kolach mixture. In his eventual attempted departure, the dog knocks over Heidi’s spice rack, and traipses through the colorful spices, winding up passed out, belly up on Heidi’s couch as if he own’s the place. Investigating his collar, Heidi discovers that Rivin, is the Silver Spoon Falls fire dog. A few phone calls and some time later, Heidi’s world is flipped upside down when she opens her front door to scold Rivin’s fireman-owner but instead is dumbstruck when faced with Alessandro.

Alessandro is annoyed, his working dog Rivin has a penchant for mischief and today’s shenanigans may be the cherry on top. Prepared for the worst, Alessandro knocks on his neighbor’s door to apologize and retrieve his retriever but is instead confronted with his heretofore unknown fantasy woman. Thanking the gods (and Rivin) under his breath, Alessandro turns on the charm only to be immediately rebuffed by Heidi who is wary and under the assumption that hot firefighters are smooth talking bed hoppers.

As with many Nichole Rose books, there is a minor amount of resistance from Heidi, but deep down she knows Alessandro is her one. She just has to overcome some personal demons and let herself be loved by Alessandro. Alessandro, who from the moment he sets eyes on Heidi, vows to love and protect her, never wavering, always supportive. Beyond their personal drama, devious goings on in Silver Spoon Falls threaten to undo Heidi’s dream of opening her bakery.

I loved this short and spicy little book. I can’t wait to meet the rest of the Silver Spoon Falls Heroes and the women that bring them to their knees. If you like steamy reads, with over the top Alpha’s, sassy-curvy FMC’s, and a guaranteed HEA? You can always, and I do mean always count on Nichole Rose!

While I did enjoy this book because of their back and forth and the premise of it, the execution wasn't great. Again, don't get me wrong, I did enjoy it but the whole plot point of her being threatened (when she wasn't really being threatened, those letters just basically said she wouldn't succeed with her bakery, hardly threatening) was a bit lackluster. Even when she gets a package and I was thinking this will be great... it was literally just some moldy bread and a note saying again she won't succeed... Ok I wasn't expecting something seriously gross like her cat (thank the gods for that) but I mean something worse... like a dead rose or something and the note being more along the lines of threatening her life if she keeps trying to open the bakery.

The other thing(s) kinda go hand in hand. Alessandro said he wanted more than to fuck her, that he wanted to get to know her first in his inner thoughts... and yet, the next chapter he was all over that. The only reason he knows things about her is because he spent his time looking her up (maybe? it's unclear but she was just surprised because she never mentioned her sisters names, etc but he knew them) instead of actually getting to know her. Meanwhile Sunshine (because he said it so damn much I seriously don't remember her name right now) didn't want anything to do with him for a few reasons but she didn't want to be another notch in his bed post... but yeah that goes out the window almost the very next day too.

Look I get it's insta love (lust) but if you are framing a story one way, don't shift gears right away. I mean they could've gotten together at the half point of the book instead of about a quarter in.

That shit about how she asked for a condom and he said fuck no he's taking her raw? Might look good on paper but that's just a giant red flag otherwise. There is never any doubt in the FMC's mind about anything and while I can appreciate it more in a shifter insta love romance, it's a bit harder to swallow in a regular human one. I know it's fiction, but at least make it a little believable, especially as I just mentioned before if you are framing something one way but then do the opposite.

Lastly (I promise), sex on the workstation in the bakery? Completely gross! That's not hygienic at all... Even if she bleaches it after, still ew. In your own house is one thing but where you are making food and serving other people? Yeah, no. Hard pass for me. Worse thing is, it's not just her original bakery but the new one too.

This is the 1st book in the new Silver Spoon Heroes series which brings us back to everyone's favorite small-town with the magic water. In this book we get the steamy, charming firefighter, naughty playful dog,rom-com, small-town romance between Alessandro,Rivin and Heidi. Heidi the last Marsh sister who we've met before in previous books is working hard she's getting ready to open her bakery which is why she's testing recipes at home. Heidi is on the phone while making kolache's when out of the blue a dog breaks in steals her kolache's and makes himself at home on her couch. Heidi can't believe that this menace of a dog just broke in and stole her food and she wants to know where he came from. Which leads her to the firehouse so she makes a call to ask about the dog which is how she finds out about Rivin's partner Alessandro and she gets his number. Heidi calls Alessandro about what happened and he's pretty abrupt with her so she's not prepared for the gorgeous man who shows up to pick up his dog. Alessandro is stunned stupid by Heidi the curvy beauty who is his neighbor and who Rivin his troublemaking dog stole food from after he broke in her house. Alessandro has never been more grateful for the troublemaker since the curvy baker isn't really mad and she's just as attracted to him as he is to her Heidi is his. Heidi has issues just like her sister's due to their childhood trauma so she's afraid to give her heart to Alessandro even though she knows he's the one for her. When Alessandro finds out that someone is threatening Heidi's dream of opening her bakery look out. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read this steamy charming small-town firefighter rom-com romance with the naughty playful Rivin to see what happens. I would recommend reading this book and I'm looking forward to the next book in this series.

Heidi Marsh is starting a bakery called Sassy & Sweet in Silver Spoon Falls. She has four sisters and one older brother. For the last two weeks, Heidi has been getting anonymous notes telling her that she is going to fail. Heidi and her sisters were abandoned as children which has made Heidi afraid to love anyone except her siblings. She has never gone on any dates or kissed a boy or done anything.

She is making kolaches in her home kitchen. She just finished rolling the dough into balls to rise. She is talking to her sister, Adalynn and wanders into the living room. All of a sudden, Heidi hears a big crash and rushes into the kitchen. There is a big dog with his paws on the counter, eating the meat out of the bowl that are supposed to be for the kolaches. His massive tail wags and knocks over the spice rack. Then, the dog decides he is done and races into the living room. He plops himself down on Heidi’s couch. She grabs his tag and finds out his name is Rivin and he belongs to the fire department. That means he belongs to the firefighter that moved in next door.

Alessandro Banger comes to Heidi’s house to retrieve Rivin. Heidi finds him extremely gorgeous and Alessandro thinks Heidi is beautiful.

Heidi embraced the loving side of her personality. I was happy that Alessandro and Rivin helped Heidi regarding the bakery threats. I loved that throughout the series, the sisters have stuck together. I’m glad they are all starting to heal from being abandoned by their birth parents when they were young. I have enjoyed each of the sister’s stories.

Who doesn’t love a grumpy, possessive alpha firefighter with a derpy dog. A dog that I might add is an escape artist and as a puppy peed on another dog’s head, broke into the CBD oil and got higher than a kite(I love this dog). What could one escapee dog do? Well, when the particular escapee breaks into Heidi Marsh’s house and eat her kolaches, and makes her kitchen look like a “culinary crime scene”, and the grumpy firefighter, Alessandro Banger, has to go get his escape artist, the sparks will fly! Alessandro takes one look at Heidi and he knows he would do anything for his sunshine, he would burn the world down for her. Heidi, who wants her bakery so bad, she will do anything, she would even deny her heart love to get it. But when Alessandro discovers that there are threats being made against his woman, he will stop at nothing to protect her and give her the dream of her bakery. I loved all of Saving His Sunshine, from start to finish, it was perfection! In true Nichole Rose style, we get the perfect alpha male and the perfectly broken woman, who does not need a man, but desperately wants this one. Lots of a sweet and a whole tonne spice——there is a pun there too!

This story is so full of life and sass! Alessandro is the perfect hero, and being a dirty talking firefighter really helps. Despite that, he does come off as wholesome and funny. Heidi is such a fun, sassy lady so full of vibrancy that you can just see her standing before you with the words used to tell her story. The relationship and interactions between Heidi and Alessandro really add spice to the tale.

Like her sisters, you see the struggle Heidi has from the childhood trauma inflicted on the Marsh sisters. If you’ve already read her sister’s four stories, you’ve already seen her make an “appearance” in those stories and getting to finally read her story really helps round out the full sister circle. Seeing the ongoing relationship between Heidi, her sisters, her brothers-in-laws and Alessandro really adds depth to this story.

Nichole has hit another one out of the park with this tale! I will definitely be re-reading it (again and again) as it had me laughing and crying throughout.

Yay! The final Marsh sister finds her soulmate! And what a wild ride it was. Heidi was awesome. All of the Marsh girls are. Heidi has big dreams of owning her own bakery and she's making it happen. She's dealing with a lot. What else could happen? Oh just an adorable black lab B&E into her house. 🤣 Rivin was such a a freaking cute addition to their story. Dogs make life better, in books too. Rivin comes as a package deal. With Alessandro. A definite meet-cute here. We've met him previously and I was thrilled that he's the one Nichole matched with Heidi. Swoon. Seriously. The man is a dreamboat. He treats Heidi like a queen and worships her. I was so happy for her. Her and her sisters deserved to be loved as much as they are. I loved all of the characters introduced in this one and am excited to get to know them better. Each SSF book I have truly loved. I love to see the world expanding.

I have a soft spot for Silver Spoon Falls, so I always get excited when there’s a new series about it. The fact that this is book 1 in a hero’s series, had a goofy yet very protective dog and was a romcom made it that much better for me. Alessandro was a grump with a heart of gold and a soft spot for his dog Rivin. I loved Alessandro and Rivin’s connection and how they would give their lives for one another yet could still have fun. Heidi was closed off from love or any true connection until these two burst into her life, literally. I loved how he constantly showed her he’d always be there for her, yet still understood her need for independence. The twist was a good one, and there was some suspense and danger for a bit. Theres no OM/OW drama, no cheating, virgin FMC, MMC celibate for a very long time, insta love, he falls first and harder, no break ups or time apart, HEA and an epilogue 5 years in the future. This series is centred around the firefighters and police officers of Silver Spoon Falls, and I cannot wait to read all of them!

Great read!

Thoroughly enjoyed this story about Heidi, a young woman working hard to open her new bakery, and Alessandro, a protective firefighter hottie, who are brought together by Rivin, an adorable menace of a fire dog. (Actually, Rivin easily steals the limelight whenever he is in this tale - he is just too adorable and lovable … and he knows it!) The storyline is well developed and written with just enough angst to keep things interesting, and a great use of humor to keep things lively. In this particular love story, it is easy to see that our two leading characters will be together. Heidi fights it half heartedly for a relatively short time, so the tale becomes focused on the who and why about the nasty notes she is receiving about her bakery…. This is a beautiful story set in a small town of (mostly) caring people, where family and friends have each other’s backs, laughing and crying together. I look forward to reading more in this series!

This book is a part of the Silver Spoon Heroes series and focuses on Alessandro and Heidi. Alessandro is a firefighter and the town hero along with his mischievous dog Rivin. When Rivin breaks into Heidi’s house and eats her baked goods for her bakery, Alessandro isn’t expecting to meet his soulmate. As soon as Alessandro sets his sights on Heidi, he immediately knows that she’s his other half and is determined to win over his woman. He has to put in a bit of work to win her over since Heidi is slow to trust after her early childhood. That doesn’t deter Alessandro at all and he jumps in with both feet. I love how protective and possessive Alessandro is with Heidi and that she is the center of his universe. This was a great story and a great addition to the series.

Saving His Sunshine is a scorching hot firefighter insta-love on his part romance!!
Alessandro and Heidi have a meet cute with sass and an escape artist dog. Heidi hasn't met her neighbor yet, but his dog is in her kitchen drooling in her delicacies. When she contacts the police, she realizes that Rivin is a firefighter dog. So, here comes his owner and oh my when she opens the door, she may now be the one drooling but as soon as the grumpy big guy speaks it leaves alto to be desired! Alessandro knocks on the door to retrieve his goofy escapee and he is the one that gets knocked for a loop by the curvy sweetness on the other side. Now let me tell you that it is totally one sided and he is going to have to do some wooing on his behave!! Cute, sweet, over the top alpha protector and an adorable big goofy Rivin!!

I like his plan better!

It's terrifying, exhilarating, powerful, possessive, delicious and....fantastic! It's love and you cannot escape it!
All it takes is one visit by an escapee, match making dog and the sparks become an inferno of passion that cannot be stopped. Alessandro and Heidi are very sweet together, super steamy and very feisty, their lives will never be boring... especially with an escapee dog! Whilst I am a little sad that the final Marsh sister has found her match, so we won't get anymore inappropriate yet funny, naughty but fun, downright dirty and crazy antics from the sisters, we have been introduced to a whole new set of gorgeous Silver Spoon men in this new Heroes series - all are fantastic new victims to be brought to their knees by their sassy soulmates and I can't wait!
I read this on Kindle Unlimited.

The dog did it!

Yes he did! Rivin, the firefighting dog, brings his owner, the delicious Alessandro, and Silver Spoon Fall’s newest business owner Heidi, together in this yummy, sweet, bakery romp.

Gosh, do I love a romance in which the MMC falls first! Bonus when the FMC is all grumpy with it and gives her man a run for his money in his pursuit! But Alessandro is all in on Heidi from minute one and this hot fire fighter isn’t letting anything stand in his way. Not Heidi’s past, not her four sisters and their protective hubbies, and certainly not someone who is out to end Heidi’s bakery before it even opens.

Alessandro lost his heart the second he saw Heidi and you will do the same for this book. If the stunning book cover doesn’t do it, the OTT goodness from Alessandro for his feisty baker will.

I received a complimentary copy of this book and I purchased a copy. This one gets 🔥⭐️🔥⭐️🔥⭐️🔥⭐️🔥⭐️ from me!

As soon as my book friend told me about this book I was already excited to read it. She got me hooked on Nicole’s books & I’ve been working my way through them all. And I knew as soon as I read the first page in this book I was going to love it- & I did!!
Alessandro is a sexy firefighter w/a heart of gold & a really cute & adventurous dog as his ride or die partner! Heidi was a little snarky in the beginning, but quickly came around to Alessandro’s attempt to win her heart- & I loved how she had her own cute sidekick in her cat Skeet!
This was a great quick read, it had some fun banter, really cute pets, a Hero who’s completely head over heels for the heroine, a little light drama & suspense, & fun side characters.

We go back to Silver Spoon Falls in this spin off series called Silver Spoon Heroes. The book is about firefighter, Alessandro and soon to be bakery owner Heidi.
Heidi is the last Marsh sister to find her happily ever after. She's afraid of love and losing someone, so she guards her heart...but she never saw Alessandro and Rivin (his fire dog) coming.
We all know those Marsh sisters make Silver Spoon Falls interesting and Heidi doesn't disappoint. She is trying to open her new bakery but someone's determined to see her fail. Who is it? Will Alessandro and the others of Silver Spoon Falls solve the mystery before its too late??
I loved Rivin. He's a menace but so funny with his actions. He and Heidi together definitely give Alessandro a hard time.

holy crap I have been waiting for Heidi's book since reading Bound by Bronx AND IT DIDNT DISSAPOINT ME AT ALL!

I have to say that Alessandro is one of the most greenest flag man I have ever read! And Heidi is very closed off out of all the Marsh sisters but the way how she fell for Alessandro was soo cute and I was here for every second. I absolutely adore when there’s a big goofy pup, and Rivin was so cute with his big trouble causing self.

The banter and chemistry between them was so good. I was eating it up everytime and his nickname for her was so cute (he calls her Sunshine) and he was sooo openly obsessed with her and when someone threatens her and breaks into her bakery, he does everything to fix everything for her.

Honestly, Alessandro is my favorite MMC written!♥

Alessandro is a firefighter whose dog, Rivin, jumps the fence to his next door neighbour Heidi. Heidi is a baker who is opening her own shop and along with her four sister and one brother are well known in town. Rivin has gone into Heidi's kitchen through her open back door, to get some cool air in, and has eaten the meat filling for her kolaches she was set to make. She sees his tag and calls for someone to come and get him. Alessandro turns up shirtless and it is instant attraction. Alessandro and her family, with her brothers-in-law, are fixing up a shop for her bakery but she is getting some disturbing notes. One morning Alessandro discovers a box containing another note and some mouldy bread and finds out what she is going through. Their HEA is witty, well-written and I really hope there are more Silver Spoons stories out there.

Who can resist the gorgeous, tattooed firefighter with his Houdini dog, Rivin, that has been known to get into the CBD oil and end up high for two days, drooling and chillin'.

Alessandro is our hot as sin firefighter who falls fast and hard for our reluctant baker, Heidi. Heidi finds it hard to trust in love, and all Alessandro wants is to wrap her up in his love forever.

It was a wonderfully sweet story that I just couldn't resist. The spice was hot, the love was sweet, and the dog was hilarious.
