Dark, Hot, OV, Biker Read!



Wow! This was an amazing read! The storyline is deep, fast paced and packed with action. Geeze, this was such a great read. I know I’m repeating myself but I’m at a loss for words about how great this was. I love how strong, fierce and spicy Candi is and I love her two alpha men who love and are trying to understand her. That ending though - I have no clue what to think other than, I’m needing the next book right now!

They are haunted by their own pasts but willing to change everything for their spicy omega. I loved how the guys worked to keep each other in check and never pushed Candi past her limits. They want to be her safe place, but she's too scared to let them. I can't wait to see how this one plays out! Beware the cliff!

This was my first book from this author, so I didn’t know what to expect.

At first, I was nervous I’d be completely lost and confused, especially since this book seemed to draw heavily from events in her other books set in this universe—but luckily, I ended up following along just fine.

Sterling City is seemingly a dangerous place with gangs and an evil powerful family all vying for control over it. And it seems like controlling the omegas are the focus of everyone’s attention.

Everyone except the Serpents, a motorcycle gang who seemed set to protect omegas and end the ‘Heat’ from being distributed in the streets that can harm them.

Enter Candi, an omega who has been failed by many people in her life and currently guards her heart with a ton of walls, those walls seemed impenetrable until two Serpent alphas, Ghost & Viper, entered her life.

They are also not just any alphas — they are her scent match! Ghost & Viper want her to be their omega but Candi is not going to be give in that easily!

It was a wild ride in this book but I truly enjoyed it. I love the push and pull between Candi and her alphas. Lots of body betrayal on Candi’s part but boy does she not easily give in to them. She absolutely made Ghost and Viper work for it.

Both Ghost & Viper are so protective and obsessed over her but they emphasize that everything that will transpire between them and Candi would always be her choice.

“I would tear the world apart just to have you.”

When the tension finally broke and the spice hit, OHHH was it DELICIOUS 🤤

I meaaan —

“Now you’re going to beg for it. Beg us to let you come. That needy little c— of yours is so desperate. You want to come? Then fucking earn it, princess.”

It ended on a cliffhanger and I am itching to know what happens next!!!

What an introduction!!! This was so good, I couldn't put it down...

So we have our fmc Candi. She is not your typical Omega. She's tough, stubborn, can look after herself and has a heart of gold. Candi is hiding something though and I am slowly catching on but I need more information (she kind of seems a little lost) due to something happening in her past.

Our mmc's are Viper and Ghost. They both have experienced alot of devastation in their lives due to their backgrounds but neither expected to find their scent matched Omega in Candi. I liked both of them but I have a soft spot for Ghost. He's more on the quiet side but when he does speak, there's always a reason.

I really enjoyed this story but i feel as though this first book really is setting the stage for what's to come. I love that Candi doesn't conform to normal Omega tendencies and fights with everything she has but it doesn't exactly help when her heat is approaching quickly and her scent matches keep drawing her in. Viper and Ghost are fighting so hard for their club and for the safety of all omegas in their city but things keep going wrong for all of them...

I'm really excited to see what happens next because that cliffhanger was insane!

This book I started and finished in one day. It keeps me locked in the whole time along with the drama and all the background in this book made it so much more interesting. I do love that the author put a lot of info in this book . More plot than spicy.

You have candy which she has some trust issues along with her past isn't the best so she just wants to be alone and not find her soul mate. She is a very Strong woman. Which unfortunately happens unexpectedly without her wanting and catches her off guard right before a heat. Not only with two head honchos of a biker gang but she is also seeking their help with her night club for protection from another gang that is misfits.

Now if the cover did suck you in, this should have. This book is yummy and I am so excited to see how the 2nd and 3rd goes and what happens with candy and her alphas. Something about a tough man acting sweet and protective his mate gets me every single time!

I do enjoy werewolf books, werewolves are so nurturing to their mate. One part " Viper is feeding her candy" and tells her he has to take care of her! Omg what!!!! 😱

Knot So Sweet is the first installment in Miss Renae’s new Leather and Lace Trilogy set in the gritty backdrop of Stirling City. Omegas are under threat as corruption abounds and our heroine, Candi, must make the difficult decision of how far to bend. She is desperate to maintain her autonomy but will it come at the cost of her safety as well as her families? Pack life is something she fears, yet it might be her only way to survive and thrive.

This story gives us a small glimpse into Candi’s internal struggles and set the scene for what, I hope, becomes an epic love story. A fated chance for a set of broken souls to find healing and acceptance on each other. The abrupt ending also left me with some suspicions I am eager to find watch unfold.

This was a great set up to a new trilogy,without the unnecessary info dumping, and I hope a lot of the questions I have now will find understanding as the story progresses. I cannot recommend this dark and uncomfortable world and hope you will give it a chance when it drops on December 1st.

This is the first book in the Leather and Laces series. This is the second time I have read a book by Miss Renae. I truly fell in love with this book! I have so many books on my TBR list that I need to read but I want to push Miss Renae’s books to the top of the list!
The FMC in this story is such a strong character. She is dealing with so much trauma from her past. She also has a lot of responsibility on her young shoulders. She continues to live her life as best as she can, even though she is in constant danger.Viper and Ghost are possessive, over the top a-holes who want this omega to belong to them. This story is dark, the smexy scenes are spicy and then that twist…You need to read this book to understand what I am talking about!

I stumbled across Knot So Sweet by Miss Renae thanks to the magical vortex that is BookTok—seriously, it's where all my best reads have been hiding lately. This is the first in a brand-new series, and fair warning: it ends on a cliffhanger. Normally, I avoid starting series until they’re fully published (cliffhangers and I have trust issues), but I’m honestly so glad I didn’t wait on this one.
Miss Renae wastes no time pulling you into the story. From the opening chapters, I was hooked. We’re back in Sterling City, where Candi, who some readers may recognize from Miss Renae’s earlier books, is reopening The Omega Den with the help of her brother’s pack. But with danger still looming over the Omegas, Candi turns to the Steel Serpent MC for protection—and that’s when things really heat up.

Enter Viper: the ruthless MC president with a price that might be too steep. The tension between what Candi’s Omega instincts want and what her past trauma will allow is written with raw honesty. Her struggle to balance craving an Alpha's dominance with the fear of losing her autonomy felt incredibly real. And the contrast between Viper and Ghost? Perfection. Their differing approaches to Candi’s needs not only deepen the emotional stakes but also give her space to grow and make her own choices.

The emotional depth, the slow unraveling of trust, the sizzling tension—it all works. The character development is rich, layered, and, frankly, addictive. While I may be pacing until the next book drops, Knot So Sweet more than earns its spot on my favorites list.

First things first: That cover is so fucking hot! I love it.

I'm new to this author, so I wasn't sure what to expect.

Next, I dropped a star because Body Betrayal Syndrome is a big theme here. I know that in the Omegaverse, it's a part of their biology, but here they literally say it multiple times, even the guys. It was too much. Also, our FMC was starting to piss me off with her control issues. But when we get a little more of her backstory toward the end, it makes a little more sense.

I hate an unexpected cliffhanger, so the fact that it was added into the Trigger Warnings was great. I've never seen that before, and I feel like it should be standard.

I can't wait for the next one! I'm pretty sure we all know who the masked man is, but I'm hype for the reveal. I love when more are added to the pack/harem further into the story.

great book

This book was the first in the series. It was a little different from other omega verse stories. The FMC had some major events happen to her growing up. Her brother and his friends tried to protect her as much as possible. There was a group of bad Alphas they called themselves the Hounds. They hurt her in high school and luckily before it got too out of hand Linc and another guy saved her. She was scared of all alphas and for good reason. It started with her dad. He wasn’t very good to her. One day she was meeting her brother and she walked into the Serpants clubhouse and discovered that the president viper was her mate. She actually had 2 mates but she was scared to fall for them and get hurt by more alphas.

Omegaverse, why choose, MC, age gap, and more.
This was my first book by this author and I wasn't disappointed. I really enjoyed the plot and the main characters.
Candi is one tough FMC. I like that she didn't just give in right away. I loved that the guys were there for her when she was ready though.
There was some action, drama, danger, lots of feels, tension, and spice.
I enjoyed seeing the relationship develop between Candi, Ghost and Viper. The back and forth and the overall chemistry.

Overall, this was a great beginning to Candi's story. I can't wait to see what happens next, especially after that cliffhanger!

This is two of my favorites in one. Omegaverse and motorcycle club. And I loved everything about it.

You have a strong, independent, fiery omega who thinks she doesn't need anyone but she really does. She just doesn't understand that they will make her stronger not weaker.
A strong grumpy dominant Aplha and president of the MC. He can't wait for this sassy omega to fully open up and become theirs. But he is patient and waits for her to choose them.
And Ghost, my favorite. The b@d@ss who is broken. Just like Indy. They are definitely each other's halves to a whole.

This ends on a hell of a cliffhanger and I now I can't wait for book 2.

Great first book. It begins and ends with a little havoc (Cliffhanger).
An omegaverse why choose in the world of MC.
Is a dark book with possible triggers so is important to read the Readers Note. It also have some funny moments.
It's a slow to medium-burn with some HOT moments.
Our FMC is a survivor who fights and battles. She can be a badass, but sometimes the fear takes the best.
The MMC's see how wonderful she is and they want her. They have a fight along the way, but they are already used to fights :).
And I will follow them!

This is Book 1 in Leather and Lace trilogy, which is Candice or Candi's story. Our FMC has past trauma and is clearly struggling with the decisions she has to make. Her fears are starting to come true, but they may be the only thing that can save her.
Our MMC's Viper and Ghost are super hot alphas who would do anything to protect their Omega.

I absolutely loved reading this and can't wait for Book 2!

What a great start to a new series! It's a little on the dark side, with some sweet fluffy bits in there. Candi has her demons but her guys are doing their best to show that they are there for her. And we get to see more of Kay, Vaughn, Linc, etc. It does end on a cliffhanger, which I'm not a fan of, but it makes me eager to read the next book. I definitely recommend that people read The Omega Den first though because it contains information that is important to fully understand some of the characters in this book.

Oh my wholly grail, I figuratively just fell to my knees and am now internally throwing a tantrum like a toddler cause I NEED MORE!!! If you are an omegaverse fan I just found your book of the year! Follow Candi the FMC while she finds her scent matches but wait cause she wants nothing to do with being in a pack or being “owned” by alphas. This is a must read to find out if her instincts will make her cave or if her will is strong enough for her to walk away!!!

Caution: this does end in a cliff-hanger that will have you throwing an internal tantrum but it’s oh so very worth it!

Wow that book was something else. The story I loved, very heartfelt and toyed with emotions. Hit a little with the mental health side regarding Candi but it was truly written beautifully!! The way she doesn’t want to be hurt again after everything she’s been through so finds it hard to let two certain people in really makes you think that she really is a strong independent woman!!

Miss Renae you have truly won me over with this book with the spice and emotional rollercoaster that I’m left wanting for more!! With a little twist at the end what more could you want!!

This is my first read from Miss Renae and I'm hooked. Make sure you read the trigger warnings. I absolutely loved this book, MC omegaverse isn't something I knew I needed, but can't wait for the next book to come out. Candi's strength is incredible even with her vulnerability peaking through. Gruff on the outside both Viper and Ghost want to do everything they can to win Candi over. That ending though, hopefully the next one comes out asap.

Holy heat! I love Candi’s sass! I felt the heat from the brief interaction between Viper and Candi in the last The Omega Den book Knot Over and this did not disappoint. Candi’s book picks up in the middleish of the Kay’s last book so there is an overlap of events but it works out really well with the overall background story of this verse. Candi has a quote about life and lemons and demanding chocolate. Well, this is me demanding chocolate in the form of book 2! Lets go!

I received this as an ARC to read. In some ways, that’s difficult because now I have to wait even longer until the next one comes out!!

This was my favorite omegaverse I’ve read in awhile. I read it very quickly. The spice I’d say is 3 🌶️/5 only because it took awhile to get there. But the lead up… so much tension! It was worth it for the slow burn. The characters are great. I highly recommend.

Arc- this book was utterly fabulous. It kept me gripped with plot and character based development. It’s book 1 out of 3 and it’s a great start to the leather and lace series! Nice and spicy with a great morally grey element. No one is innocent. An omegaverse book with their usual elements of heats and … well everything that goes with it😉. Have fun with it as much as I did!

I typically stay clear of MC books but OV+MC worked for me this time! It may have been the heavy angst because I’m slut for it. I didn’t expect this book to end on a cliffhanger but now I’m foaming at the mouth for book 2. All of got to say, is the masked man better be Chaos.

There are some grammar issues but I didn’t do well in English class so I’m not one to judge, if it bothers you just beware. Check the triggers, there’s mention of SA
