They are an unlikely pair to be drawn to each other. He’s a drug dealer and she’s a widowed Sunday school teacher. She teaches about the love of Christ. He ascribes to a dangerous life. She’s seen as the good in the world. He’s seen as the problem. Despite the differences, the undeniable attraction is there. Yet, it doesn’t need to be acted upon. They know this. They try this. But the heart wants what the heart wants. Though, the heart is not always right.
I enjoyed all the characters because they were down to earth. Watching the development of the relationship was an interesting and bumpy ride. So many times I didn’t know how things would end. The ending was satisfying and I highly recommend this to anyone who likes Christian fiction with realistic characters.
All the elements including the characters, plots, and the vivid details of the “Toot” captured and held my attention into the wee hours of the morning. I loved the author’s depiction of “Q” and his attitude of caring less what people thought of him, and I love the fact that Zarah continued to put God first over her flesh. Moth to a Flame had me laughing until I cried as I read the realistic scene of the “toot!” Miss Campbell didn’t d a phenomenal job of keeping us entertained throughout this novel. My family and friends will thoroughly enjoy this book.
Loved it! I agree with other reviews that this book went by entirely too fast for me. I wanted so much more from the characters. But it was still worth the read.
Very good book. Easy read. I like how it pointed out that you can't judge a book by its cover theme. Also, references to God's word were very inspiring.
There's some lessons in this story, judging others being the main one for me. What I loved about this story is (for me) Zarah represented the Light that Christians should have which draws people to God. Quinton recognized it without knowing exactly what it was. This is a beautiful love story that begins with God's Love written in an enlightening manner for all to read.
I have no idea how I stumbled upon this book and had no clue it was Christian fiction. I guess that’s the beauty of going in blind. Forgive me Lord because I don’t know if I would’ve picked this up but I really enjoyed it.
Drug dealer meets Sunday school teacher. They seem like an odd pair but bond over similar traumas. It’s very much instalove but I liked the infusion of scripture and idea they were God ordained. I did not expect the plot twist with Quentin’s business. I adore Cree and got a little emotional over his moment building legos with Q.
Very short, quick, honestly a tad bit cheesy, but it’s really cute and I enjoyed it way more than I expected once I realized what it was about!
This was a Christian Romance book. Zarah is a Sunday school teacher of a mega church she went to a lounge where Quinton sees her and got his eyes fix on her. Quinton was a son of a drug dealer and he also was one until his mind year old daughter was kill by gunmen . Zarah husband was in the army and was killed before she had his baby. So Quinton never stop courting Zarah , he went to church became a Christian along with his crew. In the end Quinton and Zarah got married and have a baby girl Zariah and Quinton adopt Cree Zarah son. Lovely Christian Romance novel.
Quinton and Zarah aren’t your ideal couple, they live completely opposite lives. How can darkness and light mingle? Well with God all things are possible . The Sunday school teacher and daughter of a gospel singer is the woman of Quinton’s dreams. Quinton was raised by the streets and a legal drug dealer . He doesn’t do committed relationships and fears the power of a woman but when he meets Zarah, she brings him peace and closer to God. He never knew, he was missing anything in his life until he met her!
I hope to follow more of Zarah and Quinton's story
This story was passionate, emotional, and raw which I absolutely adored! I loved Quintons persistent attitude when it came to Zarah. Dude was not trynna call it quits. He was willing to sacrifice his desires to be with her, all while respecting her faith. I also admired Quinton relationship with Zarah's son Cree, I smiled everytime they encountered each other. Wonderful read, looking forward to whatever else this author puts out!😊
This was truly an awesome love story. This is a case of judging someone based on assumptions. Zhara and Quinton come from different up-bringings but are instantly drawn to each other. Unfortunately Quinton has a reputation that Zhara can't seem to get past as it conflicts with her beliefs. With persistence and commitment their love story is beautifully written.
Khara, A good read. You showed how it is to be able to have a chance at love, to have a chance at redemption when everything in your life had been done for a wrong situation. God can change your heart and give you all that you need. Good read🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
Was definitely a great read. This book was truly refreshing and filled with great Biblical scripture. I loved reading their dedication to the Lord and putting Him first in their relationship. Awesome book if you want to follow Jesus and sacrifice your flesh and passion until marriage.
Omg, this was such a fun read I couldn’t get enough of Q and Zarah. I love that this book developed so well and the characters were very interesting and well drawn out. This book made me smile, laugh and gush over the love heck it even took me to church. Definitely a must read if you already haven’t.
Inspirational message, I recommend this delightful and first class story. I was thoroughly entertained! I laughed, shed a few tears and gave glory to God in my house. My favorite scene was Quinton inviting his friends to attend church services. Keep writing and I will keep reading!
I loved the story from beginning to the end. I had to be patient in the middle, but I’m glad I finished this book. I was praying while reading it and made me realize my short comings in my faith walk as well. Great job!
This book had me blushing the whole time! It was so cute! I loved how Quinton got closer to Lord & built his OWN relationship with God. Quinton didn’t let the comments of others deter him from moving forward. His was his past. This book was everything!
What a wonderful surprise. It was a pleasure reading Zarah and Quinton's story from beginning to end. It is so much more enjoyable when you think the story is going one direction and it turns out better than good.
I really enjoyed this story. Quinton was definitely a book bae. He had swag, presence, and just an all around awesome vibe. I definitely enjoyed reading this story.
It was cute and easy to read. As a Christian woman I really appreciated the biblical implications. I can’t give it a full 4 maybe a 3.5. The story felt a bit rushed to me. Wish we would have gotten a little more of what their married life looked like
