Millennial

Rate this book
MILLENNIAL is an expanding portal of non-linear time; through both dream & waking states & the archetypes that hold great resonance. This poem carries memories both learnt & experienced through the kaleidoscopic lens of the speaker, until each layer of time reveals itself to us in the present. Egan questions the very things in the contemporary world, natural & otherwise, through location as experience & time through memory & language—the very mycelium of conceptualization. Traveling the terrestrial realm through a multi-dimensional state allows the poem to evoke a grounding in reality, through the unknown of ancestors & spirit. The parallels of existence in both history & the present is deeply rooted in the blood here conjured.
