When Charlie Dann, a seemingly charismatic ghost hunter with a penchant for the paranormal, checks into Emma Ander’s Mountainside Bed & Breakfast to collaborate with the University’s own expert, Dr. Gold, but he’s really seeking something else.
Beneath his interest in simple research lies an ulterior the desire to be the ‘it man’ when it comes to the paranormal. He sees an opportunity as he meets Allie, Emma Ander’s new assistant, learns of her recent experience with an entity, and discovers Emma’s collection of rare first-edition books.
In the small town of Boone, NC, where there are no secrets except for a new ghostly presence, the boundaries between the living and the dead blur. With suspicions mounting, the B&B’s serene atmosphere is disrupted. Ghosts aren’t the only ones haunting Mountainside; the real danger may lie in the greed-driven schemes of the guest, who appears to be hunting more than just phantoms.
Will Emma, her clue-sniffing dog Lizzie, best friend Frances & the ghost of Preston Johns III discover the true intentions of the professors and find the kidnapped Allie in time?
This story can be read as a standalone in any order, as can those below. Emma Anders Cozy Mystery The Case of the Haunted Heirlooms, prequel The Missing Masterpiece Murder The Secrets of the Sorority Sisters The Greedy Ghost Hunting Guest
There are three ghosts in this book. The culprit was a friend or she thought she was. Beneath his interests in simple research, lies an ulterior the desire to be the ‘it man’ when it comes to paranormal. As he meets Allie, Emma Ander’s new assistant and learns of her recent experience with an entity and discovers Emma’s collection of rare first edition books, he sees an opportunity I borrowed this book from Kindle Unlimited. This in no way affects my opinion of this book.
This third installment of the Emma Anders Mystery gets us closer to some answers when a ghost hunter comes to stay at the bed and breakfast. Allie, Emma's employee, finds herself in trouble and it is up to Emma, Lizzie and the gang to find answers as to what the ultimate mission of the ghost hunter is. An enjoyable read that can be read as a standalone since enough of the past is explained in this book.
Emma and Frances have their hands full when a new ghost and a ghost hunter show up in the B&B. Such a fun series to read, but you can read each book stand alone. The characters are relatable and the storyline is intriguing. It keeps you going and guessing to the very end. A fun book for a relaxing afternoon. I received a free copy of this book from the author. I am leaving a voluntary and honest review.
The Greedy Ghost Hunting Guest: A Puzzling Paranormal Cozy Mystery is book #3 in the Emma Anders Mystery series by Annie Hudson.
This was an entertaining, quick read. This has likable characters, a B&B, a locale I’m familiar with, ghosts, humor, and an interesting mystery. It checks all the boxes for an enjoyable story for me. I recommend this book.

I was able to finish this book in one day as it was so hard to put down once I started to read it. I love the main character Emma Anders. It was so good to see that someone who had inherited alot of money was able to see that using their money for the good of everyone else. There were lot of twist and turns with the mystery regarding the missing person and the ghosts. If you enjoy paranormal cozy mystery you will enjoy this series very much. This is the second book in the series that I have read and I can tell you that it was worth reading.
The Greedy Ghost Hunting Guest wow what a book. Written by Annie Hudson. This book is awesome from start to finish. If you believe in ghost or not you will love this book. There is mystery and ghost and a lot more. Yes I have the book and want more books from this author. Annie is a great author. Yes I’m writing an honest review.
Enjoyed reading this book--I haven't read the ones before so I may go back and catch up. Writing was good and the characters were well developed. The best part though is the twist at the end. Recommend reading.
The book story was simple, easy to read, and quick paced. However, I found the writing stinted, almost staccato in deliverance. This could improve. Also, at times there was no break to indicate change of location or speaker. So, a little confusing.
Emma is just getting the B&B set up to her standards when a ghost hunting professor comes to stay. He manages to get another ghost out to talk to the maid Allie that happens to be her grandfather. They try to get more information on the ghosts but things don't happen to suit the living. Fun story. I got this story as a ARC reader and this is my honest review.
