Rate this book
How do you make a good first impression? Trial and error.

College is supposed to be an exciting time, an opportunity to meet new friends and make lifelong relationships. However, Kaitlyn was never the social type. Talking to people has always been hard enough, not to mention romance.

Getting transported into a dating sim seems like the perfect opportunity to change that.

But even here, affection is not so easily earned. As Kaitlyn is beset on all sides by grueling classes, stinging loss, and her own faults, her hopes for change slowly give way to a fear that she'll never escape the endlessly repeating semester.

Then again, anything is possible with enough practice. Besides, it's much easier to make a good impression the tenth time around. And no matter how many times she fails, she can always try again.

And again.

And again.

Experience the start of Kaitlyn's journey in this new romantic college drama! Filled with tension and a colorfully complex cast of characters that will steal your heart, Alone Once More delves into self-improvement and time travel to explore what it takes to truly change as a person.

Introverted girl gets stuck in a time loop, and experiences the horrors that come with not being remembered between loops as she fumbles her way upwards. A sweet story about growth and second (or third, or fourth, or eleventh) chances. I enjoyed this book immensely, from the second hand embarrassment, to the sweet moments that had me grinning ear to ear, to even the moments when it all crashed down for poor Kaitlyn. Highly recommend. Vinny has my whole heart.

I really enjoyed this and i can't wait till the third book comes out! The progression of character development feels believable, i'm genuinely interested in where things will go and every time i was starting to get a bit bored with the story the author took it off in a fresh direction.

I'll be keeping an eye on this author going forward!

Read this when it came out on Royal Road - liked how Kaitlyn grows as a person over time. The romances also feel natural and suited to who Kaitlyn is (as a person) at the point of the romance.
