A moonlit skinny dip and an unexpected encounter with some clothing-stealing jerks later, and suddenly I'm relying on the kindness of a burly mountain stranger.
A distractingly handsome, plaid-wearing, cabin-dwelling stranger with a jawline that could cut glass and shoulders that could carry the world's weight.
Tommy is a mystery, the strong and silent type that screams "off limits" in neon letters. But the way he looks at me, like he's drinking in every curve of my body? Let's just say it's not helping my focus stay professional.
It's impossible not to be drawn to him, especially when he steps up to be my impromptu assistant for my sister's big day. Seeing him out of his element, the way he supports me through the chaos - it awakens feelings I never saw coming.
But I'm just a temporary visitor to his world, and he's got his own demons to battle.
Can two lost souls like us really find something real amid my sister's picture-perfect wedding? Or will our differences prove too much to overcome once reality sets back in?
Her Lucky Escape into Forever - When Luisa went to Tommy’s cabin to seek help after her debacle, she didn’t realise it was the beginning of her journey to a happy future. Tommy was happy living his life as a recluse in the mountains, everything changed the moment Luisa stumbled into his life and pushed out of his comfort zone. Luisa and Tommy’s relationship started out as a dalliance, but their feelings grew exponentially and led them into an unexpected relationship.
Even though Luisa and Tommy were from two different backgrounds, they just seemed to fit together perfectly and this gave them the confidence after a while to seek a happily ever after. This was spicy and entertaining prequel to the Curvy Wives of Silvervale Mountain series, that I really enjoyed and will be happy to recommend.
I received a copy of this book free and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
Photographer Luisa (h) ventures into the mountains in search of the perfect shot and a moonlit swim au naturel. Her night takes an unexpected turn when a group of young men steals her clothes, leaving her stranded and vulnerable. Seeking help, she stumbles upon a secluded cabin and meets Tommy, a rugged, solitary mountain man. Despite initial wariness, Tommy offers her shelter and assistance for the night, even as he finds himself drawn to her. He returns her to a nearby lodge for her sister's wedding, but neither Tommy nor Luisa are ready to part. Their connection deepens through shared stories and growing attraction, leading to a connection that neither expected. Hot and steamy instalove, curvy girl, mountain man, romance. Prequel for the Curvy Wives of Pine Valley series.
It's a decent story, but is missing details in the first half. I like the plot, the insta-love is more believable than most. But there's just a choppiness to the first half of the story. Details are missing. I'm not sure if the reader is meant to male assumptions, or if these pieces were edited out of earlier drafts. For instance, how did Zoey change that first morning when she only have 1 set of clothes? And later, where did Zoey get shoes, or was she barefoot all the way back into town and through breakfast? Did she go to her room to change? Theres a lot of missing details early on, but once they finally connect as a couple, the rest of the story is smooth.
Who knew an unexpected theft of clothing could lead to a HEA. Luisa went for a moonlight skinny dip and got her clothes and camera stolen. Tommy happened to have a cabin nearby and he let her stay the night. The next morning Tommy delivers Luisa to the wedding sight of Luisa's sister and gets roped into being her photographer assistant. Things heat up quickly between these two nature lovers and they decide to stay together!
If you are a fan of short and steamy romance, this book is a good choice for you. The story is told from both characters viewpoints and I feel like you get to know them well. It's a sweet story and I enjoyed it.
This was a cute story, but I had trouble getting past the hard jumps. The female lead goes from having dunked in the lake the night before and wearing oversized flannel to all of sudden wearing her classy bridesmaid dress and looking gorgeous. I don’t think so.

Well written short insta-love story. The biggest adventure of her life Luisa and Tommy hit it off and boy do the sparks fly. This author entices her reader from the first to last page.
Really cute short story. Tommy was living alone in the woods at his cabin after serving in the military. He had a beautiful woman show up at his door, naked except for her camera bag. Tommy isnt going to be alone any more.
