I decided to go on and read the whole K series after reading the K -メモリー・オブ・レッド- 1 manga series and I cannot say I am disappointed.
Although Days of Blue seems less in depth, the characters don't seem to be as detailed as the ones in Memory of Red, I still find this series intriguing and captivating. The first volume has kept me in laughter and good cheer throughout the five chapters, and I found it more than enjoyable.
The plot once again jumped around quite a bit, and it's taken me a while to realise each chapter focuses on something new, but I quite enjoy this in the series. It's unique, in my opinion -- I haven't found a series like this before -- and it adds something new to the manga that's refreshing.
A wonderful manga volume, I'd heavily recommend it to anyone who enjoys K: Memory of Red or just any and all manga in the same genre.
