Roughstock: Royal Bastards MC Rapid City, SD Book 1
My life revolved around rodeos, ranch work, and my bike, and everything I did was to follow in my father’s footsteps. I wanted to claim my rightful place in the Royal Bastards, but not at the expense of losing my Pops. He was betrayed by someone close to him, but no matter how hard I dug, I couldn’t figure out who deceived us all.
My father’s legacy was destroyed, and the club was in shambles when I took the Presidency. The only way to restore honor to the club and create a new legacy was to dismantle it and rebuild from the ground up. But to do that, I had to uncover those who had betrayed my father and destroy them before they targeted anyone else.
I fought to find my way without Pops, and the only thing that kept me sane was going home to Cheyenne. She kept me centered when I wanted to burn the world to the ground, and I never questioned her loyalty, even if she was as crazy as she was beautiful. If it was the last thing I did, I was going to tame that wild spirit.

Welcome to another chapter of Royal Bastards MC following the President of Rapid City, SD, Roughstock. If you ever read anything by HJ Marshall you know her worlds are never cut and dry. The twists and turns in this story have you gripping the edge of your seat wondering what the heck is happening. Betrayal runs deeper than anyone in the club could ever imagine and it’s up to Roughstock to make the call to determine what path he and his club need to make.
When his ‘ol lady Cheyenne disappears right from the clubhouse parking lot fear and rage like he’s never felt before come racing to the forefront. Cheyenne is a spitfire who grew up in the club and knows the MC world like the back of her hand. One thing she won’t stand for is watching Roughstock fall apart. She’s the light to his dark, and without her, he could slip into the abyss. Roughstock’s plan for the club comes at a price….is it one that they all can live with?
This is one of the best books I have read in a long time and I can’t wait to read more about Rapid City, SD chapter. It's definitely a 5-star read!

Roughstock is book 1 to the new Royal Bastards MC, Rapid City, S.D. Chapter.
Roughstock is now the President taking over from his Dad after Nitro's death. Roughstock, his wife Cheyenne and the rest of the club have a rough go of it after the loss of their President and until justice is served to those responsible things will never be right. Deceit and betrayals run deep in the RBMC and the surprises are shocking to say the least. This story is ends on a cliffhanger of sorts and I can't wait for more of this story.
“The Sinners Revenge is a brotherhood that will never leave you to fight alone."

Roughstock was a quick but intense read.
It was slightly different to what I am used to reading from Mrs. Marshall but I still enjoyed the ride.
Brotherhood, suspense, and a bit of mystery were inked into every page.
Betrayal, surprises, and a bit of steam also made an appearance.
While we were left with a few unanswered questions, I know we will get the answers in time.
I'm very much looking forward to finding out what happens in future books.

First time reading this author. This was an ok read for me. I felt like it was slow, and nothing really happened until around 70%. Roughstock is the president of the club, and Cheyenne is his wife. The drama revolves around them. I did like that there was interaction with the members of the club. I just wish there was more action/drama. I will say I was not expecting that ending. Now I have to wait to see what happens.

To lead or not
This is my first book by this author, I am glad that I gave it a chance.
I loved this story and the characters within it. Roughstock had me falling for his big bad biker vibe and loved the way his o'lady reacted to him.
I can't wait to see what's next for this chapter if there is anything to come.
I would recommend this book to everyone that loves a grumpy /sunshine story

Roughstock is a book about betrayal, love and commitment. Cheyenne and Roughstock are characters you immediately fall in love with. This book sucked me in from the first page. My only complaint...I need answers, so Ms. Marshall, please get busy on book 2, I need to know more. I can't wait to see what happens with this group of guys.

This was a great read. I always love HJ Marshall's stories and this promises to be a really good series. Although this one was different as the main characters are already together when the book starts but it doesn't take away from the book at all. I love their connection and everything about their story. Looking forward to more of this series.

Well I never thought the Royal Bastards would allow or not help turn over the traitor, but Jameson did. I thought they all stuck together especially what happened to Jameson in his story, but guess not. Can't wait for next book. I'm glad Roughstock and his club took the stand as they did. Danger, suspense, heat and secrets revealed.

This was my first book by this author and the royal bastard books I find hit or miss and mainly stick to authors where I have enjoyed their other book series but I gave this one a go and did enjoy it has love action mystery betrayal. Characters are relatable cant wait for tre next book

Great book but bummed I have to wait for 2025,for the concluding second book. Mystery, drama, sexy times in Rapid City!! Sexy broody alpha biker and his sweet kickass Native American wife make a great team. Love them!!

That was freaking crazy!! It was really good and I'm really disappointed in jameson!! But over all it was really good it kept on my toes wanting alot of answers about what happened and who did and why.

My first read by this author. This appears to be her first and last book,in the RBMC world. I loved this Chapter! Roughstock and Cheyenne welcomes me with open arms and told their story. A true MC romance. Well done HJ! You have a new fan! 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤

Roughstock is the first book in the Royal Bastards MC series. It was fast-paced, a bit steamy, and provided some mystery. There was even a kidnapping to get your blood pumping. I very much enjoyed this book and can’t wait to find out what happens in the books to follow.

Honor, Respect and a Love for the Brotherhood is what it's supposed to be.
A very rough ride. A betrayel that cut deep into the heart of a club. When betrayal happens, the only thing to do is to cut out the cancer. Loyalties are questioned. Blood has to flow. And payment is demanded.
From the pen of this author flows yet another epic book. I'm so looking forward to another amazing series. Well done. Totally recommend this book
