Rate this book
Lauren returns to Vermont to gather her things, but a random run-in with her ex-husband has her ready to get back to Ocean City.

Lauren’s friends, Veronica and Dan, head down to Ocean City to help her get settled and start renovations on her newly purchased bay house.

Meanwhile, Lauren has a big decision to make about whether to keep her family restaurant, Chipper’s, open during the offseason.

Throughout all of this, Lauren has an unexpected visitor and somehow finds herself amongst the drama of a nearby inn.

In Book 2 of the Ocean City Tides series, follow Lauren as she arrives back in Ocean City where she must figure out a new life plan rather quickly.

This is Book 2 in the Ocean City Tides series. It's recommended to start with Book 1, A Summer in Ocean City.

Claudia Vance isn’t the best writer, but being a big fan of OCNJ makes me love this book. Her stories are sweet and simple. An easy read for anyone who knows and loves the Jersey Shore.

Loved it

Well you did it again with this one. I read it in one sitting and didn’t know where the time went. I have enjoyed each book in both series. I live in Egg Harbor Township so it is great to feel like being part of the stories. I worked at the Flanders some many years ago and I am sure you will find a way to get the grand old lady in the story. Thank you for the hours of easy readings and the light hearted scenarios.

Slow Pace

I had such high hopes after reading the first book in this series. I love the characters, especially Lauren and Matt. Unfortunately, the dialogue feels awkward, and there are grammar errors. The plot felt drawn out. I was waiting for a greater conflict, but it didn't seem to happen. What did work was the beginning of the story, but as a whole, further description is needed. It's a story with great potential.

An enjoyable beach read while on the Ocean beach. A story about a small town of Ocean City and relationships.

Second in a series of three. Just a nice clean romance, life events story. A wonderful break from the heavier topic books. Enjoyed it.
