I really enjoyed the difference in this one compared to the previous books.
Instead of leaving the country like the others, Chloe does not plan on staying in Cornwall, in fact she was on the way from Devon to a cocktail making party that she was hosting, in bad weather, when the party was cancelled and she gets ran off the road by a passing car.
Luckily, Nick comes to the rescue, who is currently looking after his aunt's farm in Cornwall whilst she visits family in Aus.
He offers Chloe a place to stay whilst her car gets fixed, and before she knows it, Chloe is welcomed and becoming part of the little town in Perrinsby, for once feeling like she belongs somewhere, as well as becoming closer to Nick and getting him to see the fun side of Christmas as she does.
Chloe and Nick are both keeping secrets, will they confide in each other and their close family/friends, or will they hide behind their smiles?
I felt the ending came too soon, it was all forgiveness and all was well too quickly for me, otherwise would of been another 5 star.
