Richard Reeve is a New Zealand poet. He has published seven collections of poetry, Dialectic of Mud (AUP 2001), The Life and the Dark (AUP 2004), In Continents (AUP 2004), The Among (Maungatua Press 2008), Generation Kitchen (OUP 2015), Horse and Sheep (Maungatua Press 2019) and About Now (Maungatua Press 2024). Reeve holds a Ph.D. on 'New Zealand Poetic Reality' from the University of Otago and has previously been a professional editor. He now practises law as a barrister.
