3 books31 followersI started my series as a joke to a friend of mine. She absolutely loves erotic romances and once the series ends, she's devastated. One day, I picked up my Blackberry (for those of you that don't know what that is, it's a cellular phone) and I started writing her little "segments" on her Facebook Wall. When one of our mutual friends was diagnosed with cancer, she decided to start editing it. It was a project she did while taking cemo. The cancer was bad but she fought it like a champion. She lost her battle on Feb. 15, 2014 but not before I put her project in motion. Now, having said that, I know that there were a lot of errors but because her cancer was so advanced, we wanted her to be here when it hit Amazon. I don't regret it one bit so the comments don't tell me anything I don't know. I will have it re-edited but she was my main priority, so that part will come. I am grateful to all those who have read the book and gave encouraging feedback. I hope to continue writing but bare with me for I'm new to the game but I love to learn. Hope to hear from you guys.

This is the second book in the Shattered Saga. You will definitely want to read Shattered prior to reading Destroyed. I don't want to say too much about the story itself as I don't want to give anything away. I will say that the continuation of Nick and Keira's story is one that you won't want to miss if you like contemporary romance with lots of humor and intrigue.
Let me start by saying there is a cliffhanger. So don't get mad at me when you get to the end of the book like I did and are like WTH?! I was ready to track down R.K Garmon and ask what the hell she thought she was doing ending the book this way. Okay so maybe not to that extreme but I REALLY REALLY wanted to read the next book immediately and you will too. You have been warned!
This was very well written and a real page turner. Not only does it have a great plot with lead characters that feel like your best friends but I can't say enough about the secondary characters; in my opinion they make the book. I became so invested in them that I'm hoping they each get their own stories.
Great read!! The relationship between the band is so realistic of friends and family. At times I was laughing so loud people actually turned and looked at me like I was deranged. Ms. Garmon has a talent of writing so that the reader feels like they are part of the inner circle, like we were actually there for each event. Although I am one who prefers really steamy romances and this one wasn't loaded with heat it kept me so interested that I couldn't put it down.
After reading Shattered and then Destroyed I must say that this is an author that I really enjoyed and will definitely be looking forward to reading more of her work in the future.

After the cliff-hanger at the end of the first book in the series (which must be read prior to reading this book), I was anxious to return to Keira and Nick to see what was going to happen to them. Destroyed picks up right where Shattered left off. Randy has forced Keira to keep everyone she loves away from her in order to keep them safe. She loves everyone too much to allow them to be hurt by the monster that has changed her life forever. Eventually Keira finally talks to her employee Luke and he convinces her to tell her friends the truth. Nick has been a mess without Keira (thinking that she left him to go back to Landon). Once he finds out what is really going on, Nick rushes to be with and protect Keira at all costs. Will his plan work? Will he be able to protect Keira and win back her love?
This emotional roller coaster ends in yet another cliff-hanger and I am very anxious for the next book to be released. This dysfunctional family has captured my heart. You can feel the love that everyone feels for each other and just goes to show you that family isn't always about the blood ties. As the reader, you really feel everything that Keira goes through and your heart breaks for her as she finds happiness only to have everything threatened again. This has quickly become one of my favorite series of books that I've ever read!

Book 2 brings with it more love, drama, suspense and another cliffhanger!
Keira's demon has come back to haunt her leaving her isolated from all her friends and causing her to push Nick away. This does however allow for the introduction of Luke who comes to the rescue. His cousin is also introduced and I think that the story lines for those 2 can be further developed!
Once Keira has come to her senses she brings those closest to her back to the fold and further interesting characters are brought into the mix ie Damien and Martha.
What love story would be complete without a bit of drama? This book certainly delivers on that front!
I loved the background that Greg gave in relation to meeting the other boys and I'm only waiting to find out how Evan fits in. Hope to hear more about Greg and Evan in the next book or another book.
At one point (trying not to give too much away) it is mentioned that the house has been bugged - during that time Keira uses Nicks real name. I am surprised that this did not lead to disaster for Nick however I could be pre-empting something for book 3???

Destroyed picks up right where Shattered ended. Kiera broke up with Nick after making him think she went back with Landon. Randy, the guy who raped her and is stalking her now, told her he would kill Nick if she didn't get him our of her life.
Nick has been struggling to keep a grip on things after Kiera broke up with him. He keeps to himself and drinks more than he should. Circumstances and people much more rational than Kiera convince her to tell Nick the truth. Once he finds out, he and the other guys in the band are determined to protect Kiera against Randy.
Meanwhile things between Blake (Nick's brother) and Jamie (Kiera's best friend) are heating up. Kiera is trying to keep her bakery going and is opening up a second location when tragedy strikes. How many times can she pick herself up and go on?
Just when it seems like Randy is going to get caught and pay for his crimes, the worst thing imagineable happens. We'll just have to wait for the third book to release in the Fall to see if the end is near for Kiera!

Keira is existing … we ended Shattered with her greatest fear resurfacing and tormenting her yet again. She has pushed everyone she loves away to protect them but how long can she exist in a constant state of fear. Meanwhile, Nick is not handling her leaving him well at all. Keira finally seeks advice from some people that can be more objective and realizes the error of her ways by hiding what is going on. When the truth is revealed we get to experience Nick and the entire band embracing Keira as the family member that she is to protect her and work towards a permanent solution. Jamie and Blake are very prominent as their relationship continues to heat up. Of course, in typical R.K. Garmon style, just when we think we will get the HEA we want everyone to have, a bomb is dropped leaving us gripping the edge of our seats waiting for part 3. Perfectly played, frustrating as a reader, but I can't fault the beauty of the delivery.

Received for a honest review... Beginning right where we left off with Shattered- Destroyed has Keira alone, sad and afraid for herself and the ones she loves. Thinking this is the only way, she pulls away from everyone and focuses on the only thing left -her stores. Nick can't figure out why she would leave him and go back to the abusive old boyfriend but if that's what she wants, good reddens!
Destroyed is part 2 of this trilogy and like a good trilogy we are left with the ever frustrating cliffhanger. Like a good trilogy, just when you think things are going great...bam... The ending of part 2. Destroy we get to watch Nick and Kiera grow and watch how they come to terms with the past. Most importantly we get to see them trust, friends, family and each other. Now on with the waiting for the final book.
Destroyed is part 2 of this trilogy and like a good trilogy we are left with the ever frustrating cliffhanger. Like a good trilogy, just when you think things are going great...bam... The ending of part 2. Destroy we get to watch Nick and Kiera grow and watch how they come to terms with the past. Most importantly we get to see them trust, friends, family and each other. Another awesome ending thy leave me wanting more.
I can't tell you how awesome this whole story has been. This contained the same story but we get to see them fighting for the ones they love and everyone is happy yet bad things are still happening. It breaks my heart for them but I'm not I charge of writing so I dot know what going to happen!
The writing amazing again as in the last story. There are some grammar stuff that I saw but that stuff never bothers me. There is tons of houmour and it is sexy in parts. I have parts that had me cracking up! I can't wait to see what will come in the next book! The fall can't come soon enough!!
And I'm also still hoping for Greg's book! Fingers crossed!!!!!

I couldn't wait to read this book having just finished the first book, I was so hooked I needed to read this next book. Again this book was fantastic and has left me wanting more, I was addicted and now hope book 3 will be out soon. Keira loves Nick and her friends but has had to keep them away to keep them safe. Lying to Nick to make him go away tears both her and Nick apart. But no one must know why. Her past has come back to stalk her and she must do as he says. But once the truth comes out hell or high water could not stop Nick or her friends from protecting her, but at what lengths will the stalker go to and can Keira and Nick's relationship survive the pressure. Another great book cannot wait until the next book, please be soon.

I was again right back in there with Nick and Keira. There are twists at every point! Even secondary characters had some surprising subplots and twists that I did not expect!
This one again was another nail bitter with a CLIFF hanger ending an I do mean CLIFFHANGER. Read to the very last word. I cannot wait to find out what happens in book 3 in the Fall. Ill be on pins and needles until then! The characters have been through so much and I hope they can resolve a lot of their issues.

I received it in exchange of an honest review and..... FABULOUS READ!!!! Addictive this sequel is an amazing one! Funny and witty it will bring you lots of belly laughs! Well written with an interesting story fills up with more heat and action! The same great characters will take you on a roller coster ride!!! I loved every minute of it! I couldn't put it down!!!! I am dying to see what happens next!!!! Again Two Thumbs Up High In the Air!!!!!

I'm crushed! The end of this one is hurting my heart. You get to know the characters more in depth in this book. You come to understand just what Randy has put her through. I love that she calls Nick 'Ryker' when she acknowledges her feelings. There had better be a book #3 soon to mend my broken heart.

Love the continuation, but ARG another cliffhanger! Keira was starting to get on my nerves, but thankfully redeemed herself. Love Nick and Blake. Greg is a trip. Can't wait for the next one. Hurry up!!

A great sequel in the series. The writing was great and flowed keeping me enthralled. I loved how the characters expanded in this book with the introduction with a few new names. The only downside is the cliff hanger ending.

I really have enjoyed how this second book was going with Keira letting her guard down and accepting that there are truly people surrounding her that love her and want to help her. My only thing is wow R.K. way to leave a cliffhanger at the end! Hurry and write the next book!
