This volume is kind of like reading on Page 1 "At the end of the book I'm going to shoot you in the head" and you spend the whole time reading in dread thinking "I sure hope they were joking and won't shoot me in the head," then you get to the end of the book and get shot in the head.
This series is absolutely wild. I tore through these five volumes in just about a week. Yuki trains a protege then kills her while blond within the course of a single book. If that wasn’t enough she encounters a hallucination of herself at the end? Just when you think you’ve figured out the world mechanics you get another curve ball. It turns out Rinrin may be a longer lasting partner than Tamamo given the preview of the next book.
