I loved this series!!!

You must read this series in order!

This had lots of twists and turns, and I loved the suspense. I genuinely didn't know how this would end given their volatile relationship and the dark world they are a part of, but it was a fitting conclusion. Definitely recommend this whole series if you want a dark and twisted mafia romance with lots of spice and dominance.

They’re still so bad for each other, yet somehow so perfect together. Jared’s struggle to say he loves her was heartbreaking, but that tattoo scene had me laughing out loud—I was completely shocked!
The betrayal in this book hit hard; I felt so bad for Jared. The ending took a dark turn, but then it wrapped up in such a sweet way—it was the perfect conclusion. I'm so happy they found their happily ever after.

I cant believe the series has come to an end! Redemption is book 5 in the Dark Revenge series and must be read in order. I loved the whole series!
The author still did not disappoint with her twists and turns! Throughout the series I had thoughts of what was going to happen and getting to see some of those things happened was nice. Allison and Jared grew so much and it was amazing to see their growth and to see how they developed as individuals and as a couple. This was a great wrap up to Allison and Jared’s story. I am glad they finally got the ending they deserved.

After Allison was captured Jared made a deal with Astrid. She helps finding Allison and she gets to dominate him for one night. That’s how far he’s going to get her back! After almost one month she’s finally back in his arms. The betrayal from Vince hit him hard but he won’t let him and the rest of the wolfs get away with what they did.
After what she went through she’s not really herself but she won’t let her fear dictate how she’s going to life and with the help from Jared they eventually get there.
Now they need to find Vince, Astrid’s dad and Finn to end what they started. As we know you can’t trust Astrid. She tricked Jared but also her dad and Finn. She didn’t clue him in so it be more realistic for here relatives. Finn wanted to “play” with Allison and went to her. Jared lost it but things took a turn. Astrid poisoned them. She freed Jared and he sprinted to Allison. Finn was already dying but Jared made a quick end to it. After that they moved out of Astrid’s house. All left now is to find Vince. They try to lure him out by sending him proof that Allison is back and it worked out. Things took a twist yet again. Vince is now dead but Jared is in a coma and back in Astrid’s grasp. Months later he’s completely healed the only thing left for him to be free is to get rid of Astrid and the unborn baby so he took her life. Now he and Allison can have their HEA!
They both grow so much in her time of heeling. Jared claims he doesn’t love her but his action definitely show signs of love. There relationship is pretty twisted and toxic and not meant to be but so meant to be. When he asked her if he could tattoo her I didn’t know what to expect but definitely not that! And that he himself got his first tattoo I was shocked! Like when you know where the meaning of the tattoos is coming from it’s so fucked up but so cute at the same time.
I can’t believe the series is coming to an end but I can’t wait for the spin-off and see where they’re 15 years from now.

I was provided a ARC thanks to The wonderful Anne Thyssen, which I’m very grateful for.
From the past four reviews, it is obvious that I adore this series. However book five felt rushed. The writing didn’t have that level of magnetism that hooked me on the first four books.
What I liked:
- The chemistry between the main leads.
- Love the main leads. Especially the lengths Jared had to go through to get Alison back.
- Anne's writing style
What could have been improved:
- Alison was imprisoned for months and violated beyond imagine. Yet, in such a short time, she is already on board with sexual relations. There wasn’t much healing on her part, and was too quick.
- Astrid took a front seat while Jared felt like her minion for the whole book. I found her quite annoying (in this book) and ended up skipping most of her scenes.
- The scene where she violated him was so disturbing. I had to skip.
- The big standoff with the big baddie of the series was “un-climatic”, all the build up with his mentor, and then he doesn’t even get the job done. It's understandable for Alison to do it, but it was not written well.
- The big baddie, ends up with the most ridiculous dialogue in the end. “If she wasn’t such a bitch…..” :/
- My point is, Jared was relegated to a minion and the storyline was disappointing.
On the bright side, I'm excited to read more about them in the next book, set 15 years later.

First, make sure you check triggers. This book has them and I don’t want to say read it if the triggers will cause harm to anyone.
Now, the good stuff (but not really, cause it’s the end). This is the final book in the series and you must read them in order.
Jared and Allison are a couple not meant to be, but yet meant to be. During the whole series that is what my thoughts were. At times I just couldn’t understand the connection but they make it work. I just wanted him to admit his feelings.
Jared is married to Astrid but there is a reason for that. I do not like that woman and I feel she knew all along what was happening. I blame her for Allison’s torment as well as Jared’s torment. She does help get Allison back but still.
Vince is another that got what he deserved. How it happened was one twist that I didn’t see coming but ……plot twist.
Allison, is a strong woman for all she endured and still had love.
I looked into this series as a palate cleaner because I was tired of the same old boy meets girl and this series didn’t fail. I started and read all the others in less than a week and then had to wait for this one. When it arrived I was like a kid in a candy store. I went for the cinnamon sticks and ate the whole bag.
If you need something different I say this is the series for you and you won’t have to wait for the end because it is here.

This book is the perfect ending to the series and I must admit I am sad to see the series come to an end. Anne has introduced me to the world of dark revenge romance and I love it I'm here for every single second of it! I have always rooted for Jared and Allison and even though they seemed like they shouldn't work together they absolutely do, they are twisted soul mates in a way, however there's one big problem Astrid her family and Vince. Jared and Allison cant be together properly how they want with these people in the way and Vince has made the ultimate play to ensure Jared and Allison cant be together, will Jared be able to get Allison back before she is broken beyond repair? Will Astrid stick to her deal with Jared or will she never let him go? The answers are all in this book but be prepared for some twists and turns I didn't see coming! This book is perfect and I'm so sad its the end of the series the whole series will take you on a journey so buckle up for the final part.

O.M.G. finally l have been counting down the days until its release. I loved this series so much. Redemption is the final book in this series. It follows mmc Jared and fmc Alison. This starts where the last book finished, Alison has been gone for weeks. God, she goes through a lot, Vince is a horrible man. Poor Jared is literally pulling his hair out to find her. Of course, it's Astrid who finds her and brings her to her home. Alison is obviously traumatised and very hurt that Astrid is carrying Jared's baby. Jared is able to prove to Alison that the only one he cares about is her. Loved that all the bad guys got their comeuppance. I really don't want to give too much away, please read this book it's is amazing.

Redemption is the conclusion of Jarod and Alison's journey and let me tell you, it's a bumpy ride. This story is intense, intriguing, dramatic, chaotic and is full of twists, turns, surprises and betrayals. I cannot stand Astrid! This one is evil from the very beginning and nothing has changed about her. Jarod and Alison's story is edge of your seat reading and it's a dark story so make sure you check the trigger warnings before you begin their journey. This author has taken us on quite a wild ride with this story and these characters. Absolute must read!

Again, this book had suspense, twists and turns, and all of the things we've loved from this series! Allison and Jared are so terrible for each other but also so perfect in every way. This is the final book in the series and it absolutely DOES have to be read in order as they do have cliffhangers and the next book starts where the last one left off. This book has an amazing ending and despite everything they've been through, it's perfection wrapped up in a book. You won't regret reading this book or this series.

the ending was super cute. it was emotional that jared had to kill vince, but he knew all along that was what was going to happen.
he never stopped searching for allison after her kidnapping and he made sure that he put back all of her broken pieces. thank God he killed astrid, i hated her and her manipulation. i truly enjoyed this series. it was kinda slow at the beginning with most of the meat of the story towards the end but the tattoo he did on her melted me heart. i’m so glad that they found happiness and love in each other even if it was a bit dark and twisted.

Great conclusion to the story. Would have loved for Alison to actually get pregnant from Jared, her dad and husband hid the fact that he was the one infertile. Just a little petty piece from my thoughts. Lol

Redemption just like the other books in this series was amazing! At the end of Temptation, Alison was k!dnapped. So the first part of Redemption focuses on showing how far he is willing to go to get her back. He was even willing to accept help from Astrid in exchange for a night of full surrender to her. Eventually, he is reunited with Alison but she is not the same. She had been sold,drugged,and physically, mentally, and emotionally tor~tured. I love how he took care of her and did not want to push her to fast. I loved watching their relationship evolve throughout the series. Alison finally fully admits and shows her love for Jared. While he still won't acknowledge what he feels is love he believes what they have transcends traditional love. Plus he shows how he feels through his actions. Speaking of actions, I am still reeling from that plot twist near the end!!! I am so sad that this is the last book in the Dark Revenge Series! I will miss all the crazy that is Jared and Alison! But I cannot wait to read the spin-off and see where they are fifteen years later!

I can’t believe that this is the end. I absolutely loved each one of the books in this series. What a great way to end the book, you get hit with so much emotion. Jared and Alison are perfection. They don’t have your typical perfect relationship where its butterflies and rainbows but they have love in a different way and it’s THEIRS. Ugh, Astrid gets under my skin so much. She is just an awful person but there is something about her that makes you want to like her and then your like nope. Alison has evolved as a character throughout the books, you feel her personal growth. I feel you need to read the series in order to really understand everything that happens. Thank you Anne for this amazing perfect series. I can’t wait to see what is next.

I can’t believe that this is the end. I absolutely loved each one of the books in this series. What a great way to end the book, you get hit with so much emotion. Jared and Alison are perfection. They don’t have your typical perfect relationship where its butterflies and rainbows but they have love in a different way and it’s THEIRS. Ugh, Astrid gets under my skin so much. She is just an awful person but there is something about her that makes you want to like her and then your like nope. Alison has evolved as a character throughout the books, you feel her personal growth. I feel you need to read the series in order to really understand everything that happens. Thank you Anne for this amazing perfect series. I can’t wait to see what is next.

Loved loved loved this book. The tattoo scene was traumatising and Waze. I can’t even imagine, but. He is obsession with her over rides is traumatic experience that she caused.
When he cntinuesly sacrifices himself to ensure her safety, comes first always.
He found solace in her company. He could stop running and just be yourself.
As long as she is in his life, he’ll constantly sacrifice himself to ensure that her safety is a priority… even if it means revisiting and experience past traumas, he would do so for her.
