This quote from chapter three of Nine Words From Jesus really stuck out. Through this book and the beautifully explained story of Bartimaeus, Chuck Tate opened my eyes to what it really means to trust God with my needs. Tate has a way with words that makes the same stories you’ve heard over and over (or even for the very first time) jump out and inspire your faith! What do you want Jesus to do for YOU? Tate takes us on journey in this book that will create an urgency, excitement, and child-like faith for everyone to have the boldness to answer that very question for our own. Need some hope? Do yourself a favor and order this book!

“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”

I had called out asking if there was More.
It was a time when there was devastation all around me.
There was a moment;
in this moment something happened and my mind cleared.
I heard His still small voice.
“You are my child. Come Home.”
Slowly with some hesitation I started to obey.
Wanting More.
“Then he said, “Don’t be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day you began to pray for understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your request has been heard in heaven. I have come in answer to your prayer.”
~Daniel 10:12 NLT
My Journey looks vastly different:
But God is Steady, Unchanging, and Forever Loving.
As I read through these pages my heart fills with such a joyous peace as I reflect my past.
There wasn’t a how to at my finger tips when I Cried Out.
I was lukewarm for so long and led astray.
There was a period when I was trapped in the devils snare.
It was a hard messy road out.
I clung to God like a scared child.
I’m in the midst of My Journey, Gods not done with me yet. He pours steady instruction on my path as I continue to cry out for More.
These pages are filled with the steps God is guiding me through and more.
“For I know the plans I have for you," says the LORD. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”
~Jeremiah 29:11 NLT

This book is packed with promises from God surrounded by stories in and out of the Bible in ways you can relate to.

This is a very well written book. It helps you to figure out what it is you want God to do for you. Chuck uses the Bible, real life stories and humor to help you with this. It will also help you to deepen your relationship with God. Who we need so much in this world today and always. I highly recommend this book!
