Lovely poetry

This poetry collection really hit home for me. The way the author writes about heartbreak and healing feels so real and relatable, like she's putting into words what so many of us feel but can't quite express. The imagery is beautiful, and you can tell every poem comes from a deep place. It's not just about the pain, though--there's a lot of strength and hope in there too. If you're into poetry that's honest and doesn't hold back, you'll probably connect with this a lot. It's the kind of book that stays with you after you've put it down.

An easy yet impactful read. Lots of relevant experiences revolving around pleasure and pain and growth. It really makes you think about how all the good and bad compiles to make you who you are today, and that some of the worst things in life can be used to inspire art that makes people feel more seen.

A very moving first poetry book from Annamarie D. Can’t wait to see what’s next!
