An absolutely stunning poetry collection. 10/10 no notes, just all the feels. Can't even enumerate all my favourite poems because my book is more dog ears than not (and what beautiful quality the pages are too!!). Nonetheless, I will list some in order of printing: Lavender Town, Baby Cerberus, The Oracle Delivers Your Pizza, Mt. Pelion's Figs to Aphrodite, Nebula's Sarabande, Interstellar Checkpoint II, Briseis (Reconstructed), Playing FFXV at 2:00am, Medusa Doesn't Kill Spiders, The Second Hand to the Clockmaker. I'm sure I've missed some. Please go out and buy and read this book!!!

In essence, Baby Cerberus is a collection of poems related to pop culture, with a mixture of mythology and poignant familiarity. Paying homage to video games, Pokemon, pop music, pizza delivery, the gods of myth and modern times as told in a lyrical and unconventional poetry format, the author brings some freshness and curiosity akin to it being a sweet familiarity and poignant memories.
The Baby Cerberus poem is one of the sweeter ones, speaking to adoration and myth of the guardian of the underworld and Persephone.
I have a few favourites, but this one is the one that stuck closely to my mind…
Riddle I
When I ask you why the sun cradled us as stars
Twilight (shy) hid in
Night’s iris/ Fire invites
Millennium’s smile
