Will give a star rating after I start cooking from this exciting vegan cookbook (I just received it and have already read it cover to cover)...honestly I want to make virtually every recipe and as a longtime cook and cookbook reader but not a longtime vegan I can already sense that everything is going to taste great and also is food I enjoy eating. I like that the recipes are oil free something I have adopted in the last year while following a nutrient dense diet. I also like the emphasis on high protein meals or snacks.
The Vegan Wholesome is an outstanding cookbook that has reignited my passion for cooking. I went from feeling uninspired to genuinely excited about trying new and delicious recipes. We began our cooking journey with the Swedish meatballs and gravy, and they were absolutely fabulous! My daughter and I both loved them. Brandi, you truly knocked it out of the park with Vegan Wholesome! This a cookbook for everyBODY and a must have!
I like the concept of this book; but I wonder about the reliance on protein powder rather than whole foods. Lots of interesting recipes. Lots of photos.
