Carey Anderson was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she currently resides. Carey comes from a large family, which is often reflected in the world she created with multiple multi-dimensional characters. Her current passion is African American Romantic Fiction; one day she will add romantic suspense, and children’s books to her resume. Carey began the Wallace Family Saga as a doodle on her cell phone. Within five years that doodle turned into a complete sixteen book series (most of which can be read as standalone books). The series spans over fifty years into the lives of the Wallace and Latour family story that came to a climatic end when the finale was released in February 2018. During this time Carey also managed to write a couple of true standalones to provide new readers with a sample of her writing style. Especially for the reader who doesn’t have the time to invest in her saga right away. Carey would like to thank you for taking the time to get to know her better. Hopefully you’ve found a character within Carey’s world that resonates with you so much that you may actually feel she somehow wrote about you or someone you know.
This was my first book by this author. The book touches on some real-life problems that couples are facing. Keila and Tamir's story sounds like a young love story turned upside down by an unplanned pregnancy. I didn't like how she blamed him for the pregnancy when she participated in the act, knowing she messed up on her birth control. I enjoyed the book. Now I'm off to read some others so I can get to know the other characters.
