Abe thought his world would collapse when his girlfriend's parents sent her away to college, away from him.

Abe takes matters into his own hands to make his life what he wants it to be.

A story of personal growth and life lessons.

(Also, it should be mentioned that Abe enjoys watching the dark web; especially the fictional dark web show called 'My Vagina Smells Like Sulfur'.)

Another extremely brutal story by the great mind of Sea!

We follow a young man who works on a farm, just doing what he can to make ends meet, but the woman he is in love with is forced to move away, and he is willing to do anything he can to keep her around...

Where do I start with this one? First off, I absolutely loved it and completely devoured it almost all at once! It is written so well with a lot of mystery on what's actually going on.

It's extremely disturbing with plenty of body gore, if you are a man or woman, this will make you physically uncomfortable as hell. I loved the dialogue, the descriptions, the twists, the ending, it was a great novella by a great author!

If you are a fan of any of the "My Vagina Smells Like Sulfur" books, then you will definitely enjoy this one!

I love Sea Caummisar’s ability to make me fall in love with her characters.
This book starts out very mild and works its way up to more horrific acts. Even as these act escalate I still can’t help to root for Abe. I was not expecting the ending and it just made it all so much better.

Who knew Caummisar does romance!

I love the fucked up plot in this one. And even more so the sentimental value. As always really, it was a fun, quick read, packed with lots of gore and gross! Literally had my face scrunched up already at page 1 haha.

This one was wild and that ending is 😘🤌🏻 I love the way that Sea Caummisar is able to make me feel sorry for someone who's committed such heinous acts. But, she did!

Well that was certainly a wild ride. Sea has a way with keeping me sucked in. I was not prepared for this to be, let’s just say, an uncanny romance. Several plot twists and some brutality later, there was a happy ending in sight. The graphic natured scenes were perfectly entertaining and, in my personal opinion, comical (in a good way because I am just a disturbed little goblin of an individual). Overall, I really enjoyed this one and all of Sea’s other books that I’ve read. How can book not be great when it starts off with a trough full of piss?! Because you just know someone’s going to take a piss bath.

This is the first book by Sea Caummisar I found really difficult to read. Usually I take one or two days to read her books. I was going to rate it 1 star instead of the usual 3 until I read the authors note at the end. It put an entirely different perspective on the story for me and although it still wouldn’t be the first of her books I would recommend, the different perspective did really make a difference to my perception. If you struggle with the start, keep going. The note at the end might give some things away so save it for once you’re finished but do try and read it through. It’s worth it.

Learned fear

You can learn to fear through others, by listening or reading or.seeing how.others react to things that make you then wary and unsure. Therefore starting the fear process. Abe a young boy whom lives in a farm with his parents, learnt the feeling of fear from a young age. Abe going to school falls for a girl in the same school where things progress between them. What wasn't expected was the extreme ways they had in common. Or did thet? A captivating story that has you glued to each page, enjoying the growth and development of said partnership. Extreme and violent in parts. So be warned. But i would recommend.

The Light and the Stick did not disappoint. I thought I had it all figured out. But of course, it's coming from the dark mind of Sea Caummisar so there's a twist and turn you don't expect. Don't even think that you know what's going to happen because you will be wrong. Sex, violence, murder, and mayhem all you need in a book.

Now, I’m an unapologetic fan of Sea’s work - particularly her afterwords, they just add that personal touch.

All I’ll say about this one is that it feels A LOT darker than (mini spoiler alert: this story takes place within a certain shared universe of Sea’s making…)

All in all, another great story, but this one has a lot of heart.

Holy crap. Talk about twists and turns. Unexpected. Absolutely unexpected. A fairly simple story, or so I thought!!! Loved it.

I love this author and how her mind works, and her notes at the end were a treasure trove of information, particularly the inspiration for the title!

I don't know how to classify this one...a disturbing coming of age tinged with romance, perhaps, but whatever it was, it worked. Abe hasn't been himself since his girlfriend's parents sent her away to college. Restless and unhappy, he decides to do whatever it takes to make his life the way he wants.

Reader, you're in for some surprises.

While this had some violence and gore, I wouldn't call it extreme, but as always, educate yourself on trigger warnings before proceeding with any book labeled extreme. Thank you to the author for my early copy. This book will publish September 27, 2024.
