This book is very thorough and informative. However, it is in desperate need of editing. The English translation is poorly done. Pronouns of he and she are often switched, making it hard to know who they are actually talking about. Names of key people change in spelling and format, which is very confusing to know if it is the same person or a different person. Many grammatical errors that just make it a difficult read. I do appreciate the variety and depth of information covered surrounding the life of St. Bernadette, the translation errors were very distracting from the strong content.

Inspire your spirit, elevate your mind and live your penance joyously!
True stories are always the best and this is 1 of my favorites. Every world religion has its Heroes. Those who live by example The truth that is universal and taught in every religion of the world. It takes courage to walk The spiritual path and to answer our calling which is unique to each person, unique to that spirit. And in it lies true Contentment knowing that we are doing what we Are supposed to be doing for the good of ourselves and all others, As the holy mother Teach us, we will never be happy in this world but we can earn the happiness of the next! This is our penance! When we help others carry their cross Our burdens will be light! To know as Saint Bernadette does, that our Holy Mother is a real person and Her Angels help us all the time if we but pay attention! That there is a Divine Plan And it is full of light and joy, the problem is, people do not listen and behave and that's on humanity, Not God (Goddess).

An in-depth account of the life of st Bernadette
This book has been researched and written by Anna Gravity, a Portuguese nun. With English as a second language it would have been good to have the book edited by an English speaking person as the simple slips between him/her etc deflect us from the wonderful message of the book. It also needs formatting.
I found the intricate details of Bernadette's life touching and this saint has been vividly portrayed and I won't forget it. The last chapter titled the Final Message had a big impact on me and I became emotional longing for God's movement of the Holy Spirit to still be demonstrating God's love and mercy today.
Very interesting book, I'm glad I came across it.
