This next installment of the Acers series is an edge of your seat emotional read. Angela has been hiding since her rescue from being held captive for something her senator mom was involved in years earlier. She is the star witness for a trial that has t taken place. Once her location is leaked and an attempt on her live is made she goes on the offensive to take back her
Iife and she takes a man she trusts more than herself. Sawyer is willing to sacrifice himself to keep her safe. He doesn’t think a happy ending is in the cards for him. They are able to stay under the radar, except for a leak. Non stop action with a great conclusion.

Who could refuse a proposition like that …..
Hummm working for Titans boss man based in a luxury complex with your own personal hunk of a bodyguard or state witness protection. No brainer. Both Sawyer and Angela have history that clouds their future and makes them guarded in the present but with enough close contact and time on the case they begin to want more. Sawyers ability to distress his woman knows no bounds. The usual twists and turns, action packed storyline with another hot addition to the Aces Team and a typical take no sh*t heroine.

I admit that when I heard about this new release I felt like a kid on Christmas morning. 3 years in the making and it was 100% worth the wait. I can’t get enough of Sawyer and Angela!
These two main characters embody everything Titan Group and Aces. Sawyer is a protective alpha and sex on legs while Angela is a strong, sassy and smart beauty.
The story will capture your attention from the get go as you learn why Angela needs a bodyguard. With all the action and adventure with twists and turns you’ll be saying “just more chapter” til the very end. Oh and what an end it is!

It has been years since we have seen a new release from Cristin Harber, but let me say The Bodyguard is explosive.
Sawyer and Angela both work for Jared Westin's Aces group based in Abu Dhabi. Angela manages the office, making sure if a team needs safe houses, equipment, clothing, travel arrangements, etc., they get what they need. Sawyer is one of the team members that goes out on assignments and puts his life on the line to achieve the required end result.
The story began back when Aces rescued Angela from Tran Pham. She did not want to go in to Witness Protection, so Jared gave her a job and moved her to Abu Dhabi. She is basically hiding in plain sight from her kidnapper. Sawyer is assigned as Angela's bodyguard any time she leaves the building where Aces is located.
When an attempt is made on Angela's life, Sawyer makes sure she is protected and neutralizes the threat. I fell in love with Angela during the aftermath of the attack when she walked up to her attacker and slaps her across the face. She proves to everyone she is a strong woman and she will not fall apart just because someone wants her dead.
When her mother, the Senator, shows up in Abu Dhabi, some of the pieces start falling in to place. The only way Tran Pham, her kidnapper, could have known where she was is if her mother, or someone on her team, leaked the information. Angela is no longer safe with Aces and when she finds out why her mother is there to speak with her, she has a new mission.
When Sawyer and Angela head to the United States to start investigating the possibility there is another woman being held by Tran Pham, they decide they can have a short term situationship. As we all know, these never work out they way they are planned to.
When there is another attempt on Angela's life, questions must be answered. Who is leaking her whereabouts to Tran Pham?
After a series of common, but yet unique, adventures, they arrive at a hotel where the manager is expecting them. Parker, yes Titan Parker, has arranged for clothes, new phones and other essentials, and not so essentials for them. Because of everything that has happened, Sawyer asks the manager for a number of kitchen items. While an odd request, she does provide them. And it is a good thing as they will come in handy shortly.
While Sawyer is in the lobby waiting for the Titan team to show up to assist, Angela is yet again attacked. Someone needs to seriously find out who is leaking the information about where Angela is. Oh, and when Jared does find out, heads are gonna roll.
After everything these two have been through, Angela just needs to decompress. Jared tells Sawyer to take her to his parents home so she can have some much needed "normal" time. So many memories will assail him, but it is time he faces his past and what his future could be.
There is a lot happening in The Bodyguard. Obviously danger with multiple attempted murders of a key Federal witness, but both Angela and Sawyer need to bury the past in order to have a future. I must admit, I have never laughed so hard as I did in the final chapter of the book. Jared is in for some fun times in the future with Angela and Sawyer.

Since ACES rescued senatorial daughter Angela Sorenson from Pham’s clutches, Sawyer Cabot has been her off site bodyguard and they’ve gotten to be friends. At Ange’s regular therapist’s appointment, she’s ambushed to keep her from testifying at Pham’s trial. Sawyer gets Ange to safety but the question is how was she discovered in Abu Dhabi? A day or so later, Angela’s mom sweeps in with her entourage and a plan demanding a meeting. Irritably, Angela gives in with Sawyer and Jared at her side, irritating mom!
Election time is nearing and mommy dearest wants the optics of negotiating with Pham and Angela marrying her long-time boyfriend who she rarely talks to. Angela reuses both of her mother’s points, suggesting the CIA use what she’s already given and the boyfriend accept he’s an ex. The boyfriend says a few cruel things to Ange which opens door for Ange and Sawyer to go forward with the more than friends feelings they’ve kept in check since she was in a long distance romance

Wow! Another great story by Cristin! This story is about Angela and Sawyer. In the beginning of the story we see that Sawyer is there to protect Angela. As the story progresses, Angela wants to get out into the field so Boss Man (Jared) lets Angela do her first mission much to Sawyer's dismay. It takes a while before they became couple but they are good together. Didn't realize that Jared was not married yet. Anyway, the epilogue has this couple married and now are parents. So happy they got their happy ending! FANTASTIC job Cristin! I would recommend this book!

I am so happy that Cristin Harber is back and has given us The Bodyguard for her return book! This story is chock full of everything you can want in a book: action, suspense, drama, heat and a lot of the characters we’ve fallen in love with over the years. I love that Angela finally has her story told and with an awesome new protector we can all go ga ha over. This book was the perfect mix of new and nostalgic and who doesn’t love a good Thelma cameo!

It’s been a few years since the author has published a new book. This was well worth the wait. I loved Angela and Sawyer. With everything Angela has been through she is just so spunky. She is tough, smart and very compassionate. Sawyer is all alpha. I loved his interactions with Angela. Bossman was once again all growly. I loved this book. It has action, adventure, heat and heart.

A fantastic story and series
It's been 3 years since we've received the last Aces book, but it still packs a punch. It was a terrific, complex, and suspenseful story with many unexpected twists that you won't want to miss.
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and author.

AMAZING
No one writes Titan, Delta and Aces like Cristin can. Definitely 5 stars. It gives you our favorite Titan men along with our favorite Aces guys. The Bodyguard is the best Aces book yet!

Excellent book. The intricate action of trying to keep everyone safe was fast paced and exciting. The romance was off the charts. Can't wait to read the next book in this series.

This series gets better Every. Single. Book!!!!
I don’t know how she does it, but this series is one of my all time favorites. Never a dull moment. So clever and the storylines are always captivating. I love how fully developed the characters are. Bliss!!!

I loved this book. I have read every book of Cristin's and I was so glad to see Jared back at it. But the timing of the story was a surprise. Also loved getting a glimpse of Cash, with the hat, and Roman. The story of Angela and Sawyer was very good.

Scary, traumatic and harrowing story. Twists, action and suspense. This read is chock-a-block full. Strong characters easy to love and had me completely enthralled and full on wanting their successful outcome. Wonderful to be back in the Titan world, I've definitely missed Jared and co.

Angela worked with Titan in Abu Dhabi after being rescued from her abductors. Sawyer was her bodyguard until she testifies against those abductors.
Someone is still after her and Sawyer will do anything to make sure that doesn’t happen.
The dynamic between the two was caring, protective (naturally) but you could see more growing between them.
But was it a good idea to fall for each other…. Could it blur the lines from bodyguard/protected to lovers???
But when the threats hit more frequently someone in her circle has to be involved! Can Sawyer and Titan find them before it’s too late???

Angela is a senator’s daughter and was kidnapped and held for years by a terrorist, Pham. He saw her as the daughter he lost. She is rescued by the Titan Group and relocates to their headquarters in Abu Dhabi. Angela becomes the assistant in the ACES team. There have been attempts on her life so she has a bodyguard when she leaves the offices. Sawyer is former Marine but works for the Titan Group and has been Angela’s bodyguard since she arrived. Information has came in that there might be someone else out there that is being held by the same terrorist who held Angela. Angela talks the Boss Man to let her and Sawyer go look for her. Now that they are away from the office, Angela offers up an agreement, they have sex until they return home. Sawyer is against it at first because of the past but then changes his mind. The sex is explosive but both try to keep their hearts out of it. With assassins after her and her getting ready to testify against Pham, they have a busy schedule.
So happy to have a new book by Cristin Harber. She always delivers excellent stories that keep you hooked from the first page. Action. Sex. Friends to lovers. I loved both characters. Sawyer is very protective and handsome. Angela is very goal oriented, beautiful, and strong.
