A Rollercoaster of Emotions!
I was highly anticipating this one and Kenya Wright did not disappoint. 🔥🔥🔥 I was excited to reunite with not just Kaz and Emily, but all the other characters from the series because the gang is all here! I loved that this story takes place in New Orleans because the city is just as much a character as Kaz and Emily and boy do they go through it. New Orleans is where they’ve come to heal Emily, but that’s easier said than done, and shenanigans ensue. The action and fight scenes are what Quentin Tarantino films are made of and the banter is laugh out loud funny. The character development of the main characters throughout the series is evident in this story, especially during the dark and heavy moments, which really show the depth of Emily and Kaz together and individually. The way Kaz loves and supports Emily through her healing journey 👏🏾👏🏾 he puts other book boyfriends to shame. Most importantly, Kaz highlights how a man is supposed to hold his woman down, not just physically but emotionally. Overall, this book was what I’ve come to look forward to from Kenya Wright: action-packed, funny dialogue, outrageous WTF moments, and sexy as hell. As new parents, the Lion and Mouse still can’t keep their hands off each other! This book builds up for the next installment, which I have no doubt is going to be epic of Marvel-level proportions, and I can’t wait. 😏

Lions, Gators and Witches Oh My🔥
🗣️Kenya Wright you have done it again. Your writing is superb! Your ability to give the reader a reel to see into the dimensions of your stories are a work of art in itself. To better understand a person's psyche and dive into your stories is what I love the intellect you put in your books is why I love you so much (In Monica's voice... Lol I'm not going to stunt I wanted more of Blue but baby I love it that's why I was savouring this book I knew it was going to be fire. I loved that you brought Pavel back I'm happy that him and the lion were together while he was walking through Emily's brain world to not only understand her more but hopefully to guide her to her becoming and accepting all that is her and the roles they played to keep her going. It's more I want to say but don't want to give it all away for readers who haven't lived in yet. Amazing, I can't wait to take the red pill (Matrix) again... Lol I loved it! I was able to read it without any grammar mistakes which keeps you into the story and don't have to pull out and figure out what the Author was trying to say. I want more 😩 can't wait to dive back in 🥹

I am addicted to this series
Kenya Wright, you are one of my favorite authors. And you have done it again by published another amazing novel!
I absolutely love this series and cannot wait for the next installment. This book was amazing. It had everything a reader can ask for: the romance, the action, the roller coaster of emotions. I love all of the characters and their side stores/developments.
The only thing I can ask is please create longer books. 500 pgs is not enough (especially if the books are being released 1.5-2 years apart) and please do not leave us on another cliffhanger.
I am eagerly awaiting the next novel. I truly want more. This series does not disappoint, and I recommend it to everyone.

Good !
I love this series I love the characters and their journeys. I hate that the Daphne is made to be the bad guy when baba is just like her. I didn’t like that the lion got high and mighty when they killed and bomb everyone that they think is doing them wrong. I do hope Maxwell finds his HEA . I thought this book had a lot of repeating fillers in the chapters. I was hoping Emily was getting closer to healing .. not the Lion getting further than, her with her journey. I can’t wait for the other new characters and their stories.

You did it again!
Kenya, when it comes to Kaz and Emily, you continue to outdo yourself. I don't know, each book in this series, when I think it can't get any better. Somehow, you pull it off.
There were some many layers in this book. From Kaz and Emily's love for each other, to them going to New Orleans and meeting Delphine and the battle with the Alligator Don. I just couldn't put it down. And, let's not forget, Emily meeting her other personalities. I couldn't put this book down.
Oh, and I love Baba. She doesn't play.

It’s at the point of the series where I just feel like I know the characters and I am peering into their lives for updates. I shouldn’t have read this one until book 9 was available though, because I want to know how they’re going to get themselves out of this upcoming war. And I want to know how/if Emily gets “healed”. So many questions!

Loved Absolutely Love
Oh WOW! Another Exciting and Superb Lion and Mouse story. This is book 9 Dirty Pleasures it has a surprise I never saw coming. Okay now this one will grab your attention like you won't believe! OMG I need to catch my breath for minute then I will tell you how much I love and enjoyed this story and how I got so caught up in it. Kazimir and Emily is a couple that takes you on a wild emotional roller coaster ride! Their journey of life makes you feel so many emotions as it unfolds. Emily is the mouse who has so many factors to her personalities but she is lovely and she can put the fear of the devil in you, She will make you feel sorrow for the way her life has been. But at the same time makes you want to become her sista. Kazimir is the Lion, he's spoiled, possessive, handsome, obsessive, charming and so many other things that makes him a dream. What is it about these six pack abs who are maniacs and somewhat deranged types, that make us love them so. Oh wow their relationship is so perversely beautiful and crazy but I loved and enjoyed every chapter. I was totally captivated with the suspense along with the action and vengeance that I didn't want it to end and I definitely hated to put my reader down and go to sleep. I absolutely loved Max, Valentina, Baba, Palao,
Ms. Delphine, Pavel, Misah Oh I'm just going to say all of the secondary characters but because they all were so spectacular and so dear to my heart that they all had me laughing so hard I couldn't stop.Then in another chapter they had my heart feeling like it was breaking. By then I had reached the ending and the tears wouldn't stop I was so happy. This story will make you feel that Kazimir and Emily (The Lion and Mouse) are kindred souls and it will draw you in from the start with the suspense and vengeance along with the action.The story its so intense! What a compelling entertaining experience! The entire series is intricately connected that I Highly recommend!!!

This book was not good... More than that, it was filler as if the author could not finish or is just publishing something so she can buy time to figure out how to end the series. It was woefully disappointing. This book was 48 chapters of a slice of life that honestly was more of just a lengthy Patreon exclusive.
We get multiple chapters of preparing to do things, intricate and flourishing descriptors for everything with very little substance, no real pay off and do not get me started on the adult erotic breastfeeding theme that is basically the framework of this book! Now I'm not kink shaming, but this just felt like she was trying to do a thing and just ended up making it super weird.
Max is shot in the book but there is little suspense in that as we already know he will have his own HEA so him being "close to death" just feels like emotional manipulation. He has issues with Ufoma and we never hear why. Something went down in Italy we never see what. We get no resolution with the alters. We get no resolution at all. NOTHING IS RESOLVED IN THIS BOOK AT ALL. It feels like she ran out of ideas and just wanted to publish something to see how it would do. The more she goes with these lengthy books that are just drama for the sake of drama it takes away from actually writing something worth reading for the audience.

Wow! I don’t even know where to start. I guess I’ll start by saying I’m so happy Ms. Wright cleared things up regarding Kaz’s feeling for Lunita b/c I was really thinking he was in love with her and it was bothering me, deeply.
Every book we learn a little bit more about Max and Emily’s love. It’s beautiful. “I am Kaz’s moral compass, but Max is mine.” So deep. It is also nice to see how Kaz loved every part of Emily and understood their purpose in her life. As a matter of fact, he welcomed it.
Plus, I feel more in love with their love by how he wouldn’t have sex with Lunita. It’s interesting knowing he saw her more as a child than adult. It’s fitting though. When Kaz went inside of Emily’s head, so many unspoken questions were answered. I’m wondering with M or Lunita did to Felicity. I can’t believe M had Kaz wondering if he was a little fruity.
One thing that sticks out to me the most is unconditional love. Kaz doesn’t care that Emily has DID, he just loves her and all that comes with it. The good, the bad, and the crazy. Honestly, I think the crazy is his favorite part.

4.5 Incredible writing, I love the layering and research that must have gone into this. My only concern was the positioning of some events, there was a period where things dragged but in the grand scheme of everything I understand why KW might’ve done that.
Whilst I’m glad that I’m still enjoying the Mouse and Lion’s books, I’m really looking forward to reading more about other characters separately especially Max and exploring his individual growth …and I’m still hoping for a Rafael and Gwen book.

More, more, more, please!
Ok. I was so ready for this book and storyline of NO. I'm so happy to see the growth of the characters like Kaz. Though he is conflicted at times, it's amazing to see. Emily, what can I say. My heart broke several times hearing more of her journey, but getting to see her hearing journey and their unbreakable bond and love through it all was great! I'm already ready for the next book.

In shock, the human mind is amazing wow the way you’re mine can comprehend and understand trauma is mind boggling who how where when why those are all questions I asked myself while I’m reading this book It is amazing. I love the lion and mouse story. I love it. I hate the cliffhanger, I’m glad I got the bonus series. I’m glad. I have found out about Max and his love interest. Well his ex I can’t wait for book 9 I am still Trippin over this book. Bravo! bravo!

Kenya Wright! This book was so freaking good!!!! Spice, Action, Drama! It was like reading a movie, or an HBO series! The action scenes were amazing. The characters in your books are always so well done! No spoilers here. Just read everything in the Dirty series. Read them all!

Worth the wait!
This series has me hooked! The Lion and Mouse universe is unmatched. If you haven't read the series, what are you waiting for. Leaving us on a cliffhanger is hard but, I'm here for it all. This book had me laughing and crying on the same pages. Loved this breakdown and the moments we now get about Emily in her mind, literally. She is a truly beautiful character.

The progression of this story from beginning to this point has been a roller coaster and I love it! I always end up at 75% mark like "nooo it's almost over! I need to know what happens next!" Kenya Wright's storytelling and world building in this series makes me yearn for more. So until the next installment, *opens bonus epilouge*

Intensity, suspense, mystery and yes laughter!!! I thoroughly enjoyed this book from beginning to end and yet more to come from such an amazing author and I could actually visualize this like a movie...and could only imagine the pics that should have been in this book...hmmmm the Lion and the mouse...oooh Baba and Delphine...can't wait til the next book hurry

tis book is one of my favorites in the series. I didn't know that I could love Kaz ,Em and Max more , but I did. And Misha aka the Mosquito's over the top reaction to his "brother" getting shot was a absolute OMG . I can't wait for the next book. However I will read this book again. Read the entire series

I really enjoy the series but it has moved in a totally different direction in which I am not at all interested. Voodoo, magic along those lines moves the genre to fantasy or something to that nature. overall I will continue the books as she writes them but I truly hope she will be ending soon. I am not liking the way it is going. All the others were the best!!!!!!!

Wow I love the depth of explanation of the fractures within Emily’s mind had me imagining if all our minds worked like that. Kaz loves Emily hard and that was also nice to explore.

This book was phenomenal. You see the depths of love Kazamir has for Emily & even Lunita & Co. Emily is a Boss Bitch and even has the brotherhood scared of her. Kenya did her research & made you understand how someone could DID & have alters.
