I may be more than slightly biased because I grew up with Stesha’s youngest sister, but I firmly believe that this memoir is an important read for anyone. I’d say it’s especially those who wish to understand what it’s like to live with a mental health diagnosis. Personally, No One Leaves Unscathed has helped me feel less alone in my own struggles. My experiences aren’t the same, but there are enough similarities to understand how difficult it must have been to write all of this down.
I always admired Stesha when I was a kid, but that’s nothing compared to how much I admire her now.
I know Stesha through her mom, Stephanie, and our mutual liking of Doctor Who. When I heard she was writing her memoir, I looked forward to reading it and am not disappointed. Thank you, Stesha, for sharing your story.
