Divertido, pero ya solo en el segundo libro algunos elementos se están volviendo repetitivos. Aun así mi pequeñajo me ha pedido el tercer libro, así que de momento seguimos con la serie.

This book was a lot like the first one. They both have a very formulaic structure, like an episode of the TV show "House." There is a problem. The dog Bruno discovers clues. The siblings assemble a list of suspects. They invite the suspects for a grand inquisition. The truth is discovered, and the overarching plot of their parent's disappearance extends a bit.

If you're learning Spanish (as I am), these books are pretty great. The repetition and predictable structure is very helpful. These books are, again, Spaniard Spanish, not Mexican Spanish. So, there is some odd vocabulary and an abundance of the vosotros verb forms.

Like the first book, this book's binding immediately came apart and all the pages fell out like loose-leaf paper.

I bought 7 of the 8 books. So, I'll read them all. I'm not sure any will stand out as being "better" in story lines. I think I know what I'm getting into, but I'll read them all for the sake of growing in my language learning.
