My villain, my monster, my Devious Knight… Be careful what you wish for

Sometimes, your wishes transform into nightmares, dark and twisted versions of the dreams you once desired.
That’s how I became the latest obsession of my nemesis.
His name is Kade Gurkovsky.
He’s the epitome of untouchable—a football god and heir to one of the most powerful secret societies at Raventhorn University.
In high school, he was the center of my universe, the sun I revolved around.

Kade is handsome and strong. Savage and cold. A beautiful monster.
Now, in college, he’s finally noticed me. But not for the reasons I’d once hoped for.
Kade has a personal vendetta against me, a grudge I can’t erase. He doesn’t just want revenge; he wants control. He wants me.
Love and hate aren’t supposed to be the same thing. But for us, they are.
We’re opposites that shouldn’t attract, an enigma that defies reason. Kade haunts both my dreams and my nightmares—always watching, always chasing.

What begins as a dark game of retribution soon spirals into a fight against secrets that could destroy us both—secrets as dark as the lies we’ve been living.

Devious Knight is a college romance that contains dark themes that may be triggering to some.

So in the last book I didn’t think Kade would redeem himself but he definitely did. It took him a minute to get there but he ended up being such a sweetheart after he got over himself. He even fell in love with Isabelle while thinking the worst of her. I loved how possessive he was. No one else was allowed to date his girl and he made that abundantly clear.

The only reason I couldn’t give this 5 stars was because of Isabelle. In the first book I absolutely loved her!! And I did really like her in this book too but omg she had betrayed by her body syndrome sooo bad!!! She would have a tough moment where she stood up for herself and then it was completely ruined by her getting all turned on by this guy who was such an ass to her at first. I really wish these female authors would stop making such weak female characters! Luckily I ended up liking Kade but I didn’t like him as much as Thorn from the first book.

Anyway I’m not really looking forward to the next book. Mackenzie was literally the most annoying character!! She was soo freaking selfish and she was a horrible friend to Isabelle. She would force Isabelle to go out with her and then leave her to go and hook up with some random guy. She’s done this multiple times. One time was even at a sex club that Isabelle did not want to be at and the last time ended up with Izzy being drugged and almost SA. So yeah Mackenzie can go kick rocks. Also her and Dimitri are obviously in love with each other but because of their feuding families they each date and screw a bunch of other people. He’s a manwhore and she frequents sex clubs, at 18 years old!! Doesn’t sound like my type of book.

NO CHEATING
LIGHT OW DRAMA (a girl throws herself at Kade twice. She’s waiting for him in his room naked but he wants nothing to do with her either time)
OM DRAMA (Kade doesn’t want anyone to touch his girl)
THIRD ACT BREAK UP (a few days)
ATTEMPTED SA ON FMC
MURDER
HEA (engaged)

So, I had some problems with this book, both technical problems and story problems. I didn't really like this one as much as the first, and it took too long for them to actually start liking each other. It felt sudden from hate to the I love yous.

If things are as bad as she believes, why doesn't she just leave? Not transfer to another school, just leave altogether, and pick up school again somewhere else the following year? It's like she wants to be treated like crap. I understand that she had a plan for school, but if it is bad enough to leave, then it should be enough to leave altogether.

There were so many technical issues that just didn't make sense. First, with the random UK phrasing a few times. I have read enough UK based books that I had to remind myself that this is actually in Boston. Second, the football stuff didn't make much sense. I am not the most knowledgable about football, but I know enough that this was just strange.

I was getting pissed at Mackenzie. She is the most self-centered person in these books. Tiffany was bad in the first one, but in this particular book, it was her supposed friend. I would stop going with her to places. She can't be relied on.

I don't know if I want to continue to the next book or now.
Who am I kidding, of course I'm going to.

Truths and Hurts

Kade Gurkovsky is as devastating as he is devastated, but the aura of danger hangs heavy around him. He's not always good, but he has a code that he lives by. When it comes to his little Lolita, his code often conflicts with his... *gasp* ... feelings.

As things progress between them, I love that he takes her word for some things, even verifying for himself. The surprises he encounters are quite astounding.

Isabelle "Lolita" Kolyav may have grown up in and around this world, but she's ill prepared for what Kade throws her way. In some ways, her inability to either fight in some manner, other than stiffening her spine occasionally where he's concerned, or plan a solution bothered me. No self-defense? No weapons or martial arts training? For someone who often is on the outside looking in on this dark and deadly world, I would've expected her dad to ensure she had some of this covered. But this is a rabbit hole I'm going to hop out of now or I'll never escape.

I do love her passion and how she puts that above nearly everything else, even finding creative ways to attempt to overcome seemingly insurmountable hurdles. While risky, I do appreciate her willingness to put herself out there to find her mother's killer.

Back in high school I thought the sun revolved around Kade, and the moon and the stars brightened at his command. I would have given anything for him to notice me. Now I wish he didn’t know me.
-- Isabelle Kolyav

As much as it drove me crazy how some things went, I give this a solid 4 out of 5. Kade and Isabelle are intriguing and entertained me. There are some twists that I saw coming, and a couple of WTF turns that were very unexpected.

Devious Knight is the second book in the Sins or Saints Trilogy a college romance that contains dark themes that may be triggering to some. It is a standalone dark college romance with no cliffhanger. The stories are interconnected with characters from the previous books stopping by that enhances the story. A brilliantly crafted story with broken individuals and a twisty and complex storyline that captures the reader attention from the first chapter and keeps you hooked and on the edge of your seat and turning the pages. Wow is all that I can say about this book and this series. The characters amazing and the emotions are real and raw. Great story with amazing twists that keeps you wanting more. Fifteen year old Isabelle Kolyav has had a crush on Kade since they were both students at Raventhorn Academy but she was bullied everyday by him and his friends. The two are now at Raventhorn University and now Kade's bullying has turned hatred. Isabelle doesn't understand what happened from their high school to now to cause him to have so much hatred for her when she didn't do anything to him to deserve such malice. Isabelle is on a quest for justice for the death of her mother and would do anything to bring the perpetrator down. Three years ago in New York while on break from school, Isabelle decided to get a job at the art gallery in the souvenirs shop. Because she heard that Parker Fedorov was going to be there and she wanted to get close to him to bring him down because she believes that it was he who ordered the hit for her mother's murder. Her father is the principal at Raventhorn Academy, the school that she attends. But he also ran all the databases for the Knights including the gallery's. She manipulated and lie to her dad to get her the job. He takes his job seriously, her father is a senior guard to the leader of the Knights for over ten years and head enforcer in the Komarovsky Bratva, a Brotherhood owned by the Knights.
Everything was all snowy and beautiful a winter wonderland like a Hallmark Christmas card worthy. But Isabelle can't seems to enjoy the beauty of it because all she can think about is the man who promised to help her identify the person who killed her mother. He tells her that he would help her find the answers that she desperately seek. He promise to come back but it's been a week now and she was getting ready to go back to school. She doesn't have a photo or name of the man. Regardless, she could never tell anyone about him or what they had planned and plotted together, and that she had knowingly helped him someone who she now believes is a hacker gain access to the gallery's security system. She has no idea what he did once he got in. But she was the one who let him in. She helped him for a reason for justice for her mom. After keeping her eyes on the door for a week now looking for the stranger who had never let her down before, she finally came to the depressing conclusion that he had gotten what he wanted and had now left her high and dry.
It was because of his help that she was able to confirm that Parker Fedorov was the last person to speak to her before she fled for her life and ran into the trap that took her life. All she needed was to verify that it was Parker who was the one responsible for arranging the murder on her mother that's the only key information that she's looking for in order to get justice. She was there on the night that her mom was murdered and saw the shooter. But they were also someone else there with him. Someone who sounded like Parker, the problem was she never saw him. She only heard his voice speaking in Russian. Kade Gurkovsky is Isabelle nemesis his eyes follows her everywhere that she goes. He's a Greek God with thick black hair that styles to perfection. Broad althletic shoulders and muscular body and a nineteen year old football God a body curiosity of his football and Knight training. Three years ago Kade lost his parents and had to move from his Orange County home to live with his aunt and uncle in New York. When he started attending Ravernthorn Academy looking like a badass and broody Isabelle became instantly obsessed with him. She could tell that there was danger surrounding him. But he didn't notice her. Now that they came to college something changed in him. Something bad regarding her that she's unaware of that she's still struggling to figure out. She has no idea what she has done to him. The only thing that she knows is that she's not safe around him and ever moment is like a ticking bomb waiting to go off. This helps her decision to transfer to Cambridge University on England. She had applied two months ago for their special scholarship program which is taught by her idol, Christian Degas a world-renowned sculptor.
Kade, Logan and Dimitri all had birthdays around the same time and their families are close friends. The boy's are like brothers and often do things together. For their sixteen birthday their families decided to spend it together since this one was special in Thessaloniki where his mother's family is from. Kade decided to have a house party at his parents private beach villa since they weren't going to be there. But when they got to the beach house to setup for the party they noticed that his dad's black Ferrari was parked in front amongst others. He thought that it was strange because no one was supposed to be there and expected the house to be in darkness with the guards patrolling the grounds. But as they hang back to observe the scene in front of them. It looks to be like a meeting taking place something similar like you would find at the Bratva compound or one of the Knights meetings that his dad often attends in New York. The three was confused and was trying to figure out what could be going on when suddenly three men emerged from the side of the house all carrying machine guns. Although they were hiding in the dark, it was bright enough for him to see that it wasn't his father's men or the guards who worked there. Instantly gunshots pierced through the night ripping the tranquility and sound of serenity into a war zone.
Logan and Dimitri were all asking Kade what to do as they were panicking but he just know that he had to get to his dad and he didn't want to put his friends in harms way. As he run towards the house and pass his father's guards in bullets in their head while more shots pierced the night the house exploded with the impact sending him flying backwards through the air the vicious flames flicking out all around him. He watches as raw red flames morph into blackness and prayed that his parents survives as his head spins and his world disappears. The life that he once had goes with it, that was three years ago. Kade found out that Isabelle had something to do with the death of his parents and he planned on destroying her life like she did his. He stalked her, bullied her to no end, and when he found out that she was planning on leaving school. He destroyed her painting and sculpture that she needed to get into Cambridge ensuring that she couldn't leave. He wasn't about to let her get away from him. However, this is when things get dicey and Isabelle decided to fight back and stand up for herself. It was push and pull between them and a cat and mouse game predator against prey to see who will come out on top. These two had a lot in common than they know and everything is not what they believe as secrets, corruption and greed comes out and Isabelle finds herself in danger. They worked together to solve the mystery of their parents death and Kade finds himself falling in love with her and succumbing to their desires, he became protective and would do anything to save her. It's a very thin thin line between love and hate as you will find between these two. Their passion is scorching hot, erotic, and sensual and make you want a tall glass of water.

Can hate be conquered by truth and love? or was it really hate?

Kade Gurkovsky is the star quarterback and handsome hunk of Raventhorn University. An orphan who watched as his parents were killed and home in Greece, burned to the ground. He came to the high school, Raventhorn Academy where Isabelle Kolyav fell in like upon seeing him. By the time they arrive at University hate for her abounds. Isabelle h no idea what she did to Kade to make him make her life unbearable. She also was a witness to a family tragedy. She was there with her mother, sent to hide, when her mother’s was killed. No reason that Isabelle could determine but curious as to the second person there who gave the order to kill. At age 15, she is approached by a stranger. Who promises to help her find that person IF he can gain access to a computer in the art gallery where she is working. THAT holds the key which no one knows about. Kade knows that she was able to access the computer which lead the bad people to his parents and ultimately to their death. And readers are off and running. What is the connection with that computer, those parental deaths and how it links these two young students. Kade is on his way to becoming a Knight, an honor and privilege at Raventhorn. Isabelle is an art student having learned from her mother. Her favorite medium is sculpture and she longs to leave the comfort of the University to study at Cambridge with a specific professor. She needs to complete her sculpture to ensure she can get away from Kade who is equally determined to punish her for her perceived role in his parents’ death and destroy her plans to leave. When her advisor retires, he is replaced as Lord Chancellor by Parker Federov, who happens to be Kade’s godfather. He plans to sabotage any plans Isabelle might have unaware that Kade is plotting against her also. A destroyed sculpture, a destroyed and burned $60K motorcycle, a punishment which leads to…..
Khardine Gray, writing as Faith Summers, once again creates intriguing characters. At times, witty and at times harsh, she twists and turns and what readers think is coming turns on a dime. Both Kade and Isabelle have to face their demons. She has been in love with Kade since high school and he has been in like until… the cast of characters, besties to both cause readers to want to know their stories, unless already readers of Raventhorn characters. what of the principal of the Academy, who happens to be Isabelle’s father? What of the little known Parker? And of Alek, Logan and Dmitri who are the Knights who trained with Kade to become part of the Elite Knights? Mackenzie who is daring and mischievous; the twins, Eilish and Annika along with Caspian and Thorne be of aid and support also? Will the misconceptions be uncovered? Not as one might think. Clever, witty, intelligent writing makes her characters the same. Readers hearts will break and then heal… a fabulous read and reviewer is giving away nothing.. a fabulous read.

DEVIOUS KNIGHT is the second instalment in Faith Summers’ contemporary, new adult SINS OR SAINTS dark, erotic, Mafia bully romance set in the author’s Cruel Lies/ Cruel Promises world, as well as the author’s Raventhorn Academy and Dark Syndicate worlds. This is nineteen year old, Bratva heir Kade Gurkovsky, and Kolyav’s story line. DEVIOUS KNIGHT can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous series and story line is revealed where necessary.

SOME BACKGROUND: Raventhorn University is a prestigious and time-honored private school for the family and children of the criminal underworld. The ruling secret society of Knights controls every aspect of the university including the lives and futures of the ruling elite.

NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Kade and Isabelle) DEVIOUS KNIGHT follows the acrimonious relationship between our story line couple. Three years earlier, Isabelle lost her mother to an assassin’s bullet, and Kade lost his parents to a deadly bombing but the fall-out of Isabelle’s attempt to discover the identity of her mother’s killer spirals down affecting our story line hero. Fast forward to present day, Kade has become Isabelle’s bully and tormentor, and Isabelle is about to discover the depths to which Kade is willing to go to destroy out story line heroine including her hopes for a future far away from Raventhorn Academy. What ensues is the stalker/bully relationship between Kade and Isabelle, and the potential fall-out as the past returns taking aim at our story line couple.

The world building focuses on Kade need for revenge, directing his animosity and anger at our story line heroine. Isabelle is struggling to survive the next few weeks but Kade is determined to destroy Isabelle, and all of her hopes going forward.

The relationship between Isabelle and Kade is an enemies to lovers: bully romance based on misunderstanding and grief. Kade takes aim at Isabelle, claiming our heroine as his own but Isabelle is determined to escape the confines of her bully prison. The $ex scenes are intimate and provocative.

Once again, there is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including Thorn and Ivy (vicious Knight 1), Lucian and Eilish, Aleksander Ivanov, mean girl Tiffany Vasilyev, and Isabelle’s friend Mackenzie. We are introduced to Isabelle’s father Principal Kolyav, and new university director Parker Federov.

DEVIOUS KNIGHT is a story of secrets and lies, power and control, betrayal and vengeance, obsession, redemption and determination, acceptance and love but saying that there is a familiarity to each instalment and interconnected series and stories . The character driven premise is dramatic, intense and captivating; the romance is forced proximity but seductive; the characters are animated and tragic.

Isabelle has a sunny personality, is always there for her friends and is a talented artist. She expressed herself through her Lolita style. She might appear like a meek wallflower at times but doesn’t shy away from a challenge and will stand her ground. She has a close relationship with her father and is trying to solve the mystery of her mother’s murder.

Kade is brooding and intense. An aspiring elite Knight, he takes his duties seriously and has shown his leadership abilities. He is seeking vengeance for his parents’ death and is observant and resourceful. Even if he might seem a little reckless, he actually is quite calculating and shows a willingness to help/look after others.

These two have been in each other’s orbit ever since they lock eyes in high school but have never approached the other until one night at Ravensthrone and we see why Kade reacts the way he does around her. They are tied together by their past. Yet despite the bullying we get from Kade, we see that he cannot help but be mesmerized by Isabelle’s artistic abilities, her fiery personality when it comes out, her down to earth demeanor and her unique sense of style and humility. Even when he pushes her buttons, we see he also has a soft and tender side for her and will go to lengths to protect her. We definitely get a lot of push and pull between these two and twists and turns unravel and I was relieved one thing was revealed which redeemed Kade in my eyes. Isabelle also seems very trusting of others but this is also what draws Kade to her. Similarly, Isabelle has always been curious about Kade who was always getting into trouble but also carried himself with an air of surety and truthfulness. He throws her for a loop time and again but always seems to be present as a rock for her. The two of them share banter and tension and they are a pair we cheer for.

Moreover, we get to see hints at Mackenzie and Dmitry’s story and see where Thorne and Annika are (I think these books are standalones, but I’d still go back I read their story too if you haven’t since it’s also exciting!). The pacing was good with the surprises, keeping us at the edge of our seat to figure out what happened in the past and where our characters are going, and the writing flowed well.

Overall, this was a read that I had to finish in one sitting, and I cannot wait to see what’s next!

“Run and hide, Lolita. The wolf is coming for you.”

I’m now reveling in my Faith Summers era, devouring this incredible author’s dark romances like air to breathe. I am in awe of the Sins and Saints series that continues to own every ounce of me. Devious Knight invaded my mind, burned my body, stole my soul, and haunted my dreams. My lack of sleep two nights in a row (so far) from both stories in this enthralling series? Totally worth it.

Sports, secret society, forced proximity, and college romance collide in this deliciously dark delight with predator and prey vibes. The good girl vs. bad boy trope is always a good time. And this hero and heroine were perfection.

I crushed on Kade, football star, and all alpha, wolf-like god with touch-her-and-unalive vibes who wrapped me around him the whole time reading: brazen, bold, and a hidden heart of gold. I admired Isabelle, artist extraordinaire who is his perfect match: a strong and stunning warrior who defines resilience. Isabelle and Kade each feel nothing, but when together, they feel and are everything. My heart shattered and soared for these strong soulmates, and I wanted revenge for and both.

The icing on the Knight cake is another HOLY PLOT TWIST moment that me sitting with my mouth wide open, head spinning, and heart beating out of my chest. I was kept hidden under the best blanket of suspense! Well played, again, Ms. Summers.

Devious Knight burns with fire, desire, vengeance, and all the hard-fought love. I didn’t devour this book; it devoured me. Pure. Heart-pounding. Pleasure. The twists and turns … the hot and cold … the cat and mouse games … the hero’s A-game stalking … the heady chemistry … oh my was I undone! This series continues to be my OBSESSION.

This is the 2nd story in the Sins or Saints Series where Kade becomes a determined Knight looking to get revenge for those responsible for the deaths of his parents starting with Isabelle. These two first meet at Raventhorn Academy and Isabelle develops a crush on Kade for him to never notice her. When they both start at Raventhorn University does Kades discovery Isabelle’s part in his parents deaths does he become a true Demon to her. Kade is the star quarterback and now a part of the Elite giving him, Logan, Alex and Dimitri privileges many will never have. Isabelle carries the burden of witnessing her mother being killed at a young age knowing another man was there but at her young age no proof could be found. These two set out making decisions good and bad trying to find evidence and clues to help bring down those responsible for their loved ones. When Kade torments Isabelle she’s at her wits end developing a plan to leave Raventhorn for Cambridge to study under her idol with her art. Isabelle should know that Kade will uncover any secret she’s hiding and finds a way to keep her there becoming his and invokes her into his craziness. I love how Isabelle takes a stand against Kade only to find herself in more trouble that eventually leads to them discovering what they truly mean to one another. When those out to gain power and money do everything they can to destroy them do the secrets of friends and enemies become all to real with unknown consequences. Their journey will take your emotions on a roller coaster of hating Kade to believing in the good buried that Isabelle’s golden heart helps heal. I can’t wait to discover what Dimitri has done to get Mackenzie!

Wow Amazingly Wow

Faith as always your stories are outstanding. Kade and Isabelle's love story was strong fire crackers right from the start. Their chemistry just wild sparks!!!

Both lost a parent Kade both of them. Isabelle loved Kade since she was a kid. Ditto with him. At Raventhorn she felt his rage and the challenges begin. He is a rebel, she hits back.
He wants revenge on Isabelle believes she played a part of his parents death. She wants out of the school. She witnessed her mother's murder. Kniws who it is but could not prove it.
Their chemistry so strong they connect. Unexpected things occur.
Some more dangerous then others. Kade and his Knight team are so connected loyalty to the max. Extremely strong bond. Always having each others back. Isabelle close to her friends always agreeing to help them out and results at time puts her in danger.

Kade comes close to who killed his parents Isabelle keeps an eye on her mom's killer.
Lots of adventures and suspense. The unknown what is next was exciting. So detailed you can envision the words. You felt all the emotions throughout the story. The fear love hate betrayal etc.
Nice Thorne and Annika were mentioned. The secondary characters getting to know them how they all connected. If I could rate this a 10 I would.
Faith enjoyed how you brought it all together with lots of surprises and lots of the unexpected. It was truly amazing. Look forward to Dmitri and Mackenzie adventures.

I recently finished Devious Knight, and I must say, it was quite the ride! This dark college romance had me hooked from the very first page, blending suspense and emotional depth in a way that kept me turning the pages late into the night.

The story revolves around Kade, a character whose charm is matched only by his dark side. I found his complexity intriguing, especially in how he interacts with Isabelle, the female lead. Their chemistry is electric, and I felt every moment of tension and connection between them. Summers does a fantastic job of developing their characters, allowing me to witness their growth and the struggles they face in their tumultuous relationship.

One thing I appreciated was the pacing of the narrative. It flows smoothly, intertwining romance with thrilling elements that kept me on the edge of my seat. However, I should note that the darker themes might not be for everyone, as they can be a bit intense at times. Still, I found the standalone nature of the story refreshing—no cliffhangers to worry about!

Overall, I would give Devious Knight a solid four stars. It’s a gripping read that balances romance and darker elements beautifully, making it a great pick for fans of the genre. If you’re looking for a captivating story with strong character development and an engaging plot, I highly recommend diving into this one!

Khardine Gray, writing as Faith Summers, has written another story that fits right in with the other Raventhorn stories we've read about the college-age children of Mafia and Bratfa families. Kade and Isabelle are 18 to 21-year-olds who have experienced the killing of their parents right in front of their eyes. The result is characters that are twisted, yet capable, self-reliant, and admirable in many ways. Both Kade and Isabelle are motivated to seek justice for their parents. Partial and then misconstrued information forces them to develop a love-hate relationship which gets them into much trouble at school. Life and death danger keeps readers on the edge of their seats wondering how our heroes will interact with the cast of characters, some besties, and other troublemakers. Alek, Logan, and Dmitri are the Knights who trained with Kade to become part of the Elite Knights. Isabelle has the daring and mischievous Mackenzie, with the twins, Eilish and Annika (along with Caspian and Thorne) for support. Will the misconceptions be uncovered? Not as one might think. The clever, witty, intelligent writing of the author makes us fearful yet hopeful that at least the characters we care for will come to a happy ending. Highly racommended!

I enjoyed book two much more than book one. I felt this story had a little more feeling to it. Maybe it was because we got a get to know the characters a little in the previous story. I think because there was a little history between these two it added an extra layer of angst.

My biggest issue was centered around Kane. He kept saying that it didn’t matter why Izzy had been involved only that she had… but he also acknowledged many times that it was obvious she was unaware she had played a role is his parents death. Which bagged that question of why he wouldn’t want to know why?? Why her? Why did she do it? If I were trying to get to bottom of my parents murder finding the motives behind peoples actions (especially when it seems out of character) would be goal number one. For all he knew someone had logged into the computer under her name and entered the code. He had no proof that it was actually her. So why not ask a few questions to her before blaming his parents death on her… even more so once it was revealed that he had feelings for her in high school. I understand that is he had done this there would have been no book but it still felt like such a plot hole!

I still enjoyed the story and liked that the hacker from the start came back in the end.

Isabelle (Lolita) has always had a thing for Kade. But at the end of the year, Kade pretty much broke her heart by saying she wasn’t worthy. Looking to go to a different college, Isabelle is working on a piece for her entrance. Kade is out for revenge, he believes that Isabelle played a part in the murder of his family. Isabelle has no idea what she did that one summer, she was only out for revenge on the man she believes was responsible for her mother’s murder (which she witnessed). Kade will do anything and everything he can to keep Isabelle at Raventhorn until he decides he has broken her completely.

Kade & Isabelle

He’s the worst guy around by stalking Isabella, showing up in the shadows, letting her see him when he wants her to. She’s had a crush on him when she was younger but his cruel words to her broke her heart, despising him from that point on. Both are at Raventhorn University & his mean treatment towards her spirals. Every decision she pursues, he thwarts which frustrates her even more. Each has a secret agenda to find out the truth: Isabelle on her mom’s death & Kade seeks justice for his parents’ death.

This is another excellent dark novel where you want to throttle Kade but with the surprising twists that pop up throughout, one cannot help but give him a second chance but can Isabelle do this too? A spell-binding story that kept me at the edge of my seat, wondering what this bad boy will do to her next. As the truth starts to unfold, there are new secrets that both characters & the reader will be blown away by the surprises. If you like a good dark suspense love story, this one is it for you!

One thing I’ve come to expect f/a dark bully romance is the guy somewhat redeeming himself, but I can honestly say Kade definitely redeemed himself! And I loved how he wasn’t a manw*ore. Isabelle was all he wanted, even when he was suppose to be hating her, he only wanted her.
I love Faith’s writing, her characters are easy to love & enjoy. I really enjoyed Isabelle’s character- when she destroyed Kade’s bike I had the biggest smile! She was awesome. And Kade had me absolutely swooning over how protective he was with her.
This book was so good, f/start-finish I was hooked & finished it in one sitting- like I always do w/Faiths books! I am so excited for the next 2 couples, I anticipate some good angst & suspense w/Dmitri & Mackenzie, & I’m a mixture of excited & nervous about Lucian & Eilish’s story. I hope there’s not ow drama & he’s been a good boy in Russia! There’s something about those 2 ever since book 1 that has me very interested in their story.

Deze recensie is in het Engels omdat ik het boek las in het Engels.

This books just sucked me into it. The suspense is coming off the pages and I just wanted to know what was going to happen next in this book.
Isabelle doesn't know what she did to Kade, First he ignored her and now he is after her, stalking her and giving her bad vibes. But under that she still has other feelings for him too and she does want to know what she did to him and fix it.
As a reader I know both sides of the story and what happened in this dark story. But at the end there are some surprises and some twists. But while reading it I wanted to scream at Kade for telling her, so he could get the real answer from her and see why it happened.

Kade is a quarterback at the university and is trying to look into what happened to his parents. This leads him to Isabelle, and he hates her and make sure she knows it. Isabelle doesn't know why he doesn't like her, but he makes thing unbearable for her. Kade's and Isabelle's lives are more connected than either thought they were. Isabelle is trying to transfer to another college, but Kade is determined to keep her there. Will they discover the answers their looking for? can Isabelle forgive Kade for how he treated her?

This is a great story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

The way I devoured this book in hours, it's not even funny.

This series keeps getting better and better, I know this series will become my whole personality for a while. 💁🏻‍♀️

Kade & Isabelle's story is full of angst, tension, mystery, and twists.

Kade is extremely unhinged, mean, and a bully. He will make you hate him before you love him deeply.

Isabelle is strong, artistic, and fierce! She will steal your heart, her past secrets tangle with Kade’s, and the torment begins.

This book is a perfect balance of suspense, angst, spice, and romance.
The spice was scorching and very well written.

Another 5-star read 🫶🏻 I can’t wait for the next book!

Enemies to Lovers

Devious Knight is a dark enemies to lovers romance. Kade is the popular quarterback with a troubled past. Isabelle is an art student that also has some tragedies in her past. She’s moving on but for some reason unknown to her Kade treats her like an enemy but there’s a fine line between love and hate

This was a good romance, on the darker side with some good twists. Enemies to lovers, bully romance, revenge and forced proximity. Looking forward to more books.

This second book is the story of Kade and Isabelle, his little Lolitta.
Kade hates Isabelle and wants to punish her, but he also wants her, being the possessive man he is he makes sure no one else dares touch what is his even if he is torn between love and hate.
Isabelle has always had a thing for Kade but now he hates her and she has no idea why.
He’s making her life hell and she is determined to find out what she did to him, while also trying to find out more about the murder of her mother.
A good read, a few twists and plenty of passion

Kade & Isabelle: Book 2 Sins or Saints: Secret society/ enemies to lovers/ bully romance/ opposites attract/ forced proximity/ Standalone dark college romance: Mystery, revenge, and obsession seem to be driving forces for students at Raventhorn University. Faith Summers’ writing style and character development has created an addictive and fascinating series. Looking forward to Dmitri and Mackenzie’s story in book 3.

This is the 2nd book to Sins or Saints Kades and Isabell’s story. Isabella is a sweet, smart, the friend that is always there, and extremely talented artist! Kade is known as the bad boy who is always getting into trouble, but right now all he wants is vengeance for his parent’s death. Isabella is caught in the cross hairs bc of something she did at 15.

Isabella isn’t as timid as one would think things take a turn and the story really starts to move. So get ready to once again deal with some cold hearted knights and sorry can’t say. Read it and find out ♥️ it’s worth it.

this was just as awesome as book 1!!!!

I really did like this story, but I prefer Thorne and Ivy’s story just because I found Thorne so much more likable and clever than Kade. I was never a Kade fan to begin with. His ego was entirely too big when he didn’t deserve it in comparison to the likes of Thorne. I loved both Annika and “Lolita” in both books. The twists and turns and interwoven connections were really well done in both books as well. On to the next!!!

If you like dark romances, you’ll enjoy this book. It’s the second book in the SINS OR SAINTS series.
Well written with strong characters and a dark romantic story line. Overflowing with plenty of drama, some danger and plenty of angst, this book is a page turner. The chemistry between Kade and Isabelle was off the charts. I received a free arc copy via Bad Boy Updates and voluntarily chose to review it.

4 ⭐ 3 🌶

Another amazing story from Faith Summers and Raventhorn. I really loved both of these characters and had so much fun reading about them. Such a great blend of enemies to lovers and reluctant love. While this one wasn't quite as twisty as Faith's usual work, it still caught me off guard occasionally and had me hooked from start to finish.

So excited for Dmitri and MacKenzie who are up next!

I was so ready to read Kade and Isabelle’s story. The love /hate they showed in the previous book was quite captivating. The book did not disappoint both characters have wounded souls and it was fun to read their story of enemies turning into a love neither wanted or thought they deserved. Loved reading the reading the back story, their histories, and uncovering the secrets, lies and betrayal. I received a free copy of this book via Cherrylily ARCs and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is a very good read.
The characters are compelling, lonely and desperate for justice.
Kade comes across initially as a cold character but, first impressions couldn't be more wrong and Isabelle is loyal and doesn’t know how to escape Kade’s snare.
I like that the plot is not simple and has complex elements that overlap each other. It elevates it from a typical college romance to something darker, eery and a times, sinister.
This is a great read and and deserves each of its 5 stars.

Kade and Isabelle. She was infatuated with him upon first sight in high school.
They say theres a thin line between love and hate. Its dark, twisted, secrets, lies, secret societies, betrayal, misunderstanding, revenge, and oh what a tangled web we weave. There is so much drama so emotional, heartbreaking, passionate, haunting, its just WOW a great journey.

Devious Knight by Faith Summers is the completely absorbing story of Kade and Isabelle. He’s out for revenge…in the worst possible way. He’s a beautiful monster. She’s had a thing for him since high school…but, she doesn’t understand why he’s out to destroy her now.

This story is so twisted and full of secrets, lies, betrayal, and unexpected shocks! Kade is untouchable and has his own internal demons. Isabelle is sweet and a bit naïve. But, she has hope! Such a good read!!
