I am taken aback at all the high ratings given to this book. For me it was disappointing.

I am glad she married Colin and that they deeply love one another

Three stars is all I could give and I thought it was a poor way to end this great series.

Romance, suspense, and fun

This cozy mystery is full of likable characters, lush imagery, and unexpected twists. It is an easy read that is hard to put down. I hope to read other books in this series.

This book isn't a "hang onto your seat",

bite your nails mystery. The romance is a few kisses, then, fade to the next scene. It held my attention throughout, but I must admit I'm not much of a detective. With this book, you don't have a clue, until close to the end, when more information is revealed. It was a mystery until then. Afterward, it was self explanatory.Yes, it's worth the read. It was enjoyable.

Good story

I enjoyed reading this but got very distracted by the "Maine" terminology. A lot less of that would have made it better.
Emily and Colin go to Maine to get married. Of course they find a dead body and have three days to solve it. Chaos ensues , all kinds of thing go on, but they manage to solve the case in the nick of time, before their wedding.

Well written book.

The characters, plot, and storyline are all very good.
A couple go to Maine to get married. He is a cop and she likes to solve mysteries. Things start to happen that needs both of their abilities.
A fast paced book that holds your interest from first to last page.

I’ve enjoyed reading this series and find the books easy to read and they hold my interest. The only problem is the name of Ernie’s wife- it’s been different in each of the last 3 books. The only thing that’s the same is all the names start with “M.” I know the wife isn’t a main character, but it does seem that the author should keep her name the same.

With the wedding of Emily and Colin drawing closer what more can go wrong? A change of location entirely with her sister taking the lead in planning it they've had the three bad things happen already right?
A fast plot with all the gang and a number of new friends this book has a lot packed into it I couldn't stop reading.

Lots of lies in this book, pun intended

So many twists and turns in this book. The finale section has even more. Loved the descriptions of the setting in Maine. Looking forward to seeing that this fall on our planned trip. This book has mystery after mystery. The storyline kept me involved and I really enjoyed the story. Good read! Now to buy some other books in series.

Excellent read

Story had a few ups and downs with the dead husband appearing in the storyline. Had some suspense to keep you reading to find out what happened and clear up another mystery.

Didn't like this as much as the others. The suspense wasn't there until the very end and the surprise twist added nothing really to the story. I thought this would end the story but I guess I need to read book 7 to find out what happens next.

Entertaining

The friends get to travel in this story to Maine. The characters seem a bit more quirky in this one. In book four, Emily said she was not close to her sister and she hadn't even told her about Colin, but in this book they are presented as close. Still a quick read.

Too many lies for me. I knew the twist was coming, and how that would end. I don't believe Evan is gone.

Just too much deception.

Tedious

This was a slow paced book. Ok I didn’t finish it, I just couldn’t. There are a lot of characters with a slow slow start. Just tedious.
