This book is a psychological thriller with an insane plot twist that I read in one sitting and immediately was like - whatttt??? I did not see the twisty ending coming at all. A short read that packed a lot of thrill, suspense and omg. Really well written. Great story. This book does come with trigger warnings.

This was such a great mystery! I wasn't expecting the twist towards the end. I loved the setting and the characters. It was a quick read that kept me on my toes.
I saw this short book pop up on my Goodread Feed (hey that rhymes) and I was eager to give Jessica Patch a try as she is a Christian writer, a mystery/thriller Christian writer, two of my favorite things. The writing was very choppy and discombobulated, and a bit hard to follow, but some of that was on purpose to keep the reader guessing if our nararator was going crazy. It got very suspenseful at the end and Patch leaves you with a burning question. Would you kill the person who killed your child if no one ever found out....? But God would.
*Ouch* So what would you do?
I couldn't do it! But very though provoking questions at the end of the book. I was amazed in this 66 page novella how loaded the discussion qusetions were. I really enjoyed that aspect of it!
This psychological thriller short story was a gift from Jessica Patch to her newsletter subscribers. It is full of twists, turns, surprises, and edgy action. Three women from a grief group are invited to a vacant house thought to haunted to exact revenge on the killer of their loved one. I am not going to tell anymore about what happened but just to say that there are a lot of questions about what actually happened in the house with quite the twist at the end. Thank you to Jessica Patch for an entertaining and quick little read.
I always appreciate a Jessica R. Patch book! Wish there was more to this story. It feels like there should be a sequel, but I don't believe there is one.
I always make the mistake of reading these while I am camping! I'm always looking over my shoulder at night, haha. That's how you know you've got a good thriller!
Great psychological thriller short story! This one was a quick read, but still packed a punch and I didn't see the ending coming! If you enjoy twisty thrillers, this is a great one! This book packs in a lot, especially since it’s shorter! You’ll want to plan some good uninterrupted time to read this. The characters meld well. You’ll go from freaky to sad to blown away!!
