Am I only one who cried at the beginning while reading Ira’s PoV. It showed all the elder daughter struggles which i can relate to the most. I hate her family with my whole being.
Arjun and Ira’s relationship is full of cute, cheesy and fun banter. The way he flirts with her is chef’s kiss. Love every bit of it.
The grovelling is the end 🔥🔥
One thing I didn’t like is the other woman drama and the miscommunication trope , both of which I hate in books.
Such a beautifully written book which made me believe in fate and soulmates again! Ira is a queen and I just wanna hug and protect her for all that she's been through. She absolutely deserves a guy like Arjun who worships the ground she walks on!!
I loved to read how destiny brought these two together and how they helped heal each other. The romance was so sweet and wholesome and I really liked the story. I wasn't really a fan of the miscommunication towards the end but it was worth it eventually 😍😍
"She wasn't just his wife; she was his an- chor in the sea of chaos, the air he breathed and the light that lit up his world."
𝙎𝙪𝙢𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙮 : Ira Joshi is a graphic designer/Youtuber, and Arjun Pathak is an entrepreneur. Their siblings, Neel Joshi and Gauri Pathak, are in love with each other. But Neel has a condition before marrying Gauri where he wants his sister to get married before him. That leaves Ira with no option when their families set her up for marriage with Arjun. Will Ira find love in this arranged marriage? Is Arjun as simple as he looks, or is he hiding something behind his cool demeanor ? Read the book to find out!!
𝙒𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 : Easy and Bingeable. Marriage of Convenience and that too Desi?!! I was already sold when i read the blurb.💛 The chemistry between Ira and Arjun is immaculate. Arjun is literally my dream MMC❤️
𝙁𝙖𝙫 𝙨𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙚 : The way Arjun respects Ira's profession and her likings >>>> He wanted to buy her art supplies when he learned that she doesn't paint anymore due to her work taking all her time. This scene had my whole heart.
Entangled Kismet is a warm, bingeable, and captivating read.🌷
From the very first page, Ira Joshi felt like someone I could bump into on the street...she's real, strong, and emotionally layered. Her internal tug-of-war between living up to family expectations and chasing the kind of love she truly yearns for was written so honestly that it hit me right in the heart. I found myself rooting for her every step of the way.
And then there’s Arjun Pathak. Honestly? A total dream. He’s not just the charming male lead....we’re talking full-on supportive, emotionally mature, and the kind of guy who makes a woman feel deeply seen and valued, something Ira had never experienced before.
Their chemistry was Electric. The kind that sneaks up on you. One moment you're grinning like an idiot, the next you’re clutching your chest from the emotional weight of it all. Whether it was their cozy rain-soaked meet-cute or the quiet tenderness of their arranged marriage scenes, everything between them unfolded like a classic Bollywood romance in the best way.
If you love stories with desi warmth, arranged marriage tropes, slow-burning chemistry, and a love that feels like fate stepped in then this book belongs on your shelf. Truly, a heart-hug in story form.
This book is a charming and heartwarming romance. The author has woven a lovely story with a straightforward plot that feels just right. I adored the chemistry between the main characters and how naturally they interact. It’s a delightful read that brings warmth and joy.
It is a beautifully crafted story that captures the perfect balance of emotions, angst, and passion. It vividly portrays the characters' growth and their journey toward coming together. I was completely enchanted by this world, and it made me fall in love with the book. It's a captivating read that I highly recommend to anyone looking for an emotional experience.
Arjun and Ira's love story is simple and relatable, yet it's delivered with beautiful execution by the author. I found it to be a warm, cozy, and heartfelt read that instantly connected me to the characters. The story's simplicity and depth made it a memorable and enjoyable experience for me.
If you're a fan of sweet, heartwarming romances with a twist of destiny, *Entangled Kismet: Among them I would recommend a small book something as: Destined Diaries* by Era Mable. This is a gorgeous story of an arranged marriage, which has all the potentials of being a simple love story, but is much more than that. The main characters, Ira and Arjun are very well sketched and the progress from being mere strangers to lovers is all too believable and touching.
It is filled with humor, emotion, and just a little taste of drama that is hard to look away from. It is a circumstance that depicts the initial stage of a new relationship where Mable is also able to write about love, trust, and the need for honesty in a relationship. For fans of contemporary romance that are both new age chic and classic, you will find this book hard to put down. I highly recommend this book for all those people who are in search of a warm and rather inspiring story.
I absolutely loved this book! The story of Arjun and Ira is beautifully crafted, showcasing the depth of their relationship and the importance of open communication. The love and care between the siblings added a heartwarming touch to the narrative, making it even more special. The glimpse into the Oberoi clan was a delightful bonus. Every bit of this story was engaging and memorable. A must-read for anyone who enjoys a heartfelt romance.
A desi romance that will make you swoon at everything the main characters say to each other, that'll make your heart cry because of the angst you will feel when you read these characters and the way you'll melt when they take a stand for each other? This book will give you all the feels. Cute banters, pretty aesthetics and a lovely story. Everything packed together will make you forget you're reading a book! Ira and Arjun's story is available on KU and it'll definitely keep you engaged! 💗
Entangled Kismet is the first book in the "Destined Diaries" series by Era Mable is an evocative exploration of love and destiny within the context of an arranged marriage. The story revolves around Ira Joshi, a creative graphic designer, and Arjun Pathak, a driven entrepreneur. Thrust into an arranged marriage, both characters are initially resistant, but as they navigate their new life together, they uncover a deep connection that neither expected. The arranged marriage trope is given a fresh twist with the inclusion of modern-day struggles, family expectations, and the protagonists' personal baggage.
The story begins with Ira and Arjun leading separate lives. Ira, a free-spirited young woman, is focused on her career and personal growth. Arjun, on the other hand, is a workaholic dedicated to building his business empire. Their paths cross unexpectedly on a rainy day, leaving a lasting impression on both. Years later, their families decide to unite them in marriage. Hesitant but unable to defy their parents, Ira and Arjun agree to the alliance. As they step into a world unknown to them, they must navigate the complexities of arranged marriages, societal expectations, and their own conflicting emotions.
As they spend more time together, a connection begins to form between them. Sparks fly, and they discover a mutual attraction. However, their love story is far from simple. The couple faces numerous challenges, from adjusting to their new roles as husband and wife to dealing with the expectations of their families and society. As their bond deepens, they uncover hidden secrets about each other and their past, which creates more issues for them. The narrative skillfully portrays their journey from awkward strangers to loving partners, with several twists that keep the reader engaged.
The narrative is characterized by its emotional depth and the realistic portrayal of Ira and Arjun's evolving relationship. Their journey from strangers to partners is not without turmoil, but the chemistry between them is palpable, making their story both engaging and relatable. The novel delves into themes of trust, resilience, and the power of love, all while maintaining a balance between drama and tender moments.
One of the strengths of the novel is the well-rounded development of its main characters. Ira is portrayed as a strong yet vulnerable woman who must reconcile her ambitions with her new role as a wife. Arjun, on the other hand, is charismatic and successful entrepreneur. Their strengths, vulnerabilities, and growth journey are portrayed with depth, making it easy to connect with them. The story unfolds at a steady pace, with enough twists and turns to keep readers interested. The concept of destiny intertwined with love is handled delicately.
The writing is immersive, with a keen focus on emotions and internal conflicts. The dialogues are natural and add depth to the characters, while the descriptive passages bring the settings and situations to life. It utilizes the arranged marriage trope effectively, presenting it with a modern twist. Unlike traditional takes on this trope, the story dives into the complexities of Ira and Arjun’s relationship, where societal expectations clash with personal desires. The novel portrays how their arranged union, initially seen as a compromise, transforms into a deep, passionate connection.
In conclusion it is a heartfelt exploration of love, fate, and personal growth. It’s a story that will resonate with readers who enjoy romance with depth and complexity. The book’s themes of destiny and the power of love are woven seamlessly into the narrative. If you're interested in contemporary romance that delves into the intricacies of relationships and personal challenges, it is definitely worth your time. The book offers a heartfelt exploration of love and destiny, making it a memorable start to the "Destined Diaries" series. Eagerly awaiting the next installment.
Meet Ira Joshi She will do anything for her family, except marrying because she believes in love and she want to marry for love
Here enters Arjun Pathak Charismatic businessman, who has a past because of which now he doesn't want to be involved in feelings or emotional drama
The unexpected chemistry between them is a treat to read, definitely loved reading this book from starting the scene from saving her from a lizard to saving her from her parents were truly heartwarming, and the book is a total entertainment. I was feeling like I am watching a full Bollywood movie made by Karan Johar
The side characters that I loved are ☺️Nia she is truly a gemof a friend. She was always there for Ira whenever she needed her and was a total support system. ☺️Neil and Gauri were siblings of Arjun, and they both were really supportive and kind hearted person. Neil was really a good person because he wanted to make sure Ira lives a comfortable and wonderful life after he goes to US.
The other characters that are friends of Arjun, you might probably have read about them were such a nice company to be with specially I like Vikram because he was a total fun and I have a little hint that he has something to come up with.
The author has wonderfully expressed, arrange marriage and communication issues and the importance of communication and love in a relationship and how a little confusion and lack of trust can destroy everything. Also I would say this book was a perfect arranged marriage based book and those who love arranged marriages tropes can surely go for this book.
The author has clearly shown the benefits of arranged marriages, and those who think arrange marriages are scary after reading this book, you probably find it a good thing
I love the possessive side of Arjun and the way he was falling for Ira daily. I love his flirting side because what the mouth he has. He is a master of flirting as Ira says he is a flirt master. I also loved the nickname that was given by Arjun to Ira. That is cinnamon. I personally loved that nickname and I highlighted everywhere I read in the book. The feeling that was put by that simple simple word was truly commendable.
Overall this was a treat to read, and I gave it 4.5/5⭐️ and 4/5🌶️ did I tell you the book is spicy ?? yeah, you heard me the book is really spicy, and the scenes are just on point like you can't keep a single word in this book. Trust me.
I liked the book. The story revolves around Ira and Arjun.
Ira, an independent girl who is a popular youtuber that posts different recipes and along with that she is also a freelance graphic designer.
Arjun is handsome hunk and self made man whose start up is doing really well.
Arjun and Ira have an electrifying chemistry when they briefly meet as strangers.
Destiny however has separate plans for them.
Ira's younger brother and Arjun's younger sister happen to fall in love and want to get married but Ira's brother sets a condition where he cannot get married before his sister.
While Ira's family pushes her to get married to Arjun, Arjun's family too is intrested in Ira and likes her too much to be their daughter in law for Arjun. The meeting is fixed and once Arjun and Ira are in front of each other, they remember the moment from the past and mutually decide to get married for the sake of their family, especially for the happiness of their siblings.
After the wedding Ira moves in with Arjun in a new house, new city making a new world for both of them.
Will Ira and Arjun explore this new territory of marriage with practically a stranger and by giving a chance to each other by trusting each other and growing together as a couple and falling in love or their attraction would just be an infatuation that fades away!
Overall it's a sweet love story that revolves around the plot of arranged marriage and the challenges that a couple may face with it. I just wish there was more interaction of Arjun's parents with Ira and their support towards Ira.
P.S. there are many sweet moments between the couple and some shocking revelations from the past. The story is full entertainer!!
OMG. I'd be lying if I said that I didn't devour this book like I've been hungry for ages. Well, I sure was hungry for a GOOD Desi romance, and this book made me swoon all over. This book reinforced my love for Desi Romance once again. This is the first book in the series, and I'm already counting down the days until the next book/books.
The way it's written with not only *kicking your feet in the air* moments but also with so much emotional depth is truly captivating. My heart ached for the characters, I was fuming with anger for them, I was laughing and giggling beside them.
The characters are so lovable that they became a part of me. I was so connected to them throughout the story. The book is written with so much emotional connection that it becomes a part of you without you knowing.
Our MMC Arjun is a green flag! He's compassionate, caring, understanding, loyal, and above all, respectful. I adored his character. The way he listened and healed Ira has my entire heart.
And don't get me started on the flirt, the tension those oh-so-swoony lines made me all heart-eyed. I'm mentally married to him (don't judge me)!
Our FMC Ira is such a strong character. The way the entire universe is hell-bent on hurting her, making her suffer, but the way she emerges out of it is commendable. Even after facing so much hurt and betrayal from her own family, she doesn't lose her kindness, her compassion, and most importantly, herself in the process. She's a loving sister, an amazing friend, and above all, a phenomenal partner. I loved her.
The plot of the book is really interesting, and the pacing is neither too fast nor too slow - it was absolutely perfect for me. The cultural representation without dumping info here and there like a scattered mess made this book stand out for me. It wasn't like any of the wannabe Desi romance BUT the OG Desi romance. The side characters were also so amazing - they weren't just there for the sake of it, but they truly made the story even more entertaining.
Overall, this book is a phenomenal Desi romance that exceeded my expectations!
By fate or by forgery, our love is entwined for eternity. This quote perfectly captures the heart of this book, where two people meet briefly and then cross paths again years later as unexpected partners.
Arjun and Ira meet one rainy night in the cutest meet cute I’ve read. They part ways to meet years later, this time pressured by their families to marry. Imagine their shock and excitement upon seeing each other again! Long-buried attraction and desire resurface as they come face to face. They get married and move to Mumbai, Arjun’s workplace. Alone in a new city, this is a beautiful tale of two people getting to know each other amid adjustments and navigating their desires. Do they have it in themselves to fight the battle ahead when the past collides with the present
Reading this book felt like a fun night out with your bestie, who’s sharing her newly wedded journey amid laughter, gossip, pizza, and a glass of wine.
Ira, a confident freelance designer and a youtuber, makes cooking videos. Fiercely independent, she’s sassy, stunning and dreamy. Immensely attracted to her hubby, the way she notices every little detail about him is super sexy. Totally enamoured by her hubby, she battles her share of insecurities before giving him her all.
Arjun is simply OMG! Forget the flag, he’s a freakin’ green carpet. Handsome, successful and a born flirt, every time he teases Ira, my heart goes dhak-dhak. Kudos to Ira for highlighting that in arranged marriages, it's not the grand gestures but the small, everyday moments that truly endear you to a person and help you get to know them. The chemistry between them is scorching, making it a spicy read. Few books maintain a fine line between sensuality and excess, but this one nails it. The story has everything—love, banter, romance, amazing friends, supportive siblings, villainous parents, and more.
But wait, the icing on the cake is the whole clan of Oberoi brothers. My heart swooned reading about all these hot men together in one book. The climax is the spiciest Maddy has ever written. I am so waiting for Vicky’s story. If you love slow burn, arranged marriages, you just can’t miss this.
What if you don’t want an arranged marriage, but the person you’re being pushed toward is someone you once had a fleeting crush on, a stranger who caught your eye years ago, and now, by some twist of fate, has been chosen by your parents as your partner? Is this still a forced marriage, or is it the universe answering your unspoken wishes?
Entangle Kismet by Era Mable is one of the most raw, refreshing, and realistic romances I’ve ever read. It offers a closer, more nuanced look at arranged marriage. The protagonists, Ira Joshi and Arjun Pathak, vividly portray the journey of a newly arranged couple—from the initial awkwardness of getting to know each other to the deep, authentic understanding that develops over time.
Ira Joshi is a hardworking, beautiful woman with a passion for creating cooking videos on YouTube. She’s incredibly talented and embodies the essence of a typical middle-class woman, deeply connected to her family and often putting their wishes above her own, even when they conflict with her personal desires.
Arjun Pathak, with his striking good looks, has a charm that could captivate anyone. Though he’s deeply focused on his career and sees marriage as a distant priority, he finds himself unable to resist when the one woman who once mesmerized him suddenly reappears in his life as his prospective bride.
Era Mable, with her sharp vocabulary and engaging plotlines, masterfully reveals how love can blossom within the framework of an arranged marriage. She eloquently explores life after marriage, the challenges and joys of parenthood, the dynamics of sibling and other relationships, and the quest for self-identity. Mable weaves a narrative that grips the reader’s attention with its authenticity and profound insights into the complexities of marriage.
Can you believe I read this book in 24 hrs like an addict who is hooked to desi romance & arranged marriages' at this point. This book was such an easy read but don't underestimate it's plot & definitely not the SPICE. 🙊
Starting out with the plot, damn the author knew what she was doing hitting us with all those emotions throughout the book. The plot, the characters, the twists, the secrets, the drama and the betrayal all were so well thought off and captivating at the same time.
What stick out with me was our MMC, Arjun Pathak's guts to accept his mistakes every time and rectify them at the same time and giving his best to an arranged marriage he didn't plan on having. His character growth throughout the book is so good and admirable and not to forget the charm of our Mr Flirt. Well our FMC, Ira Joshi aka 'Cinnamon' is no less, she is a force to reckon, her outlook on life & the confidence she radiates is so inspiring for every girl out there. And them coming together with all that spark was such a blast. Talking about spark, the spice was SPICIN and I was like - damn that chemistry, that tension they had would rock my world.
Not to forget, the way Arjun & Neel were there for their sister's was so wholesome. The whole found family trope had me in tears. The bond Arjun had with his friends and Ira had with Nia is so heart touching considering the world we live in. 😭💖💖
If any line above made you feel anything, go grab this and devour it tonight. ✨
I would like to thank Elentiya PR and Era Mable for providing me the opportunity to ARC read this beautiful book. I'm so grateful. 💜💜
You know, those little cosmic nudges—the signs the universe sends when you’re at your lowest? Like, when you’ve had the shittiest day, the kind where you just want to drop everything and disappear?
But then, out of nowhere, you meet someone. Someone who makes you forget why you were drowning in misery in the first place. Your heart doesn’t just stir—it stops. And that moment? It etches itself into your soul.
That’s Kismet.
Why Entangled? Because neither Arjun nor Ira had any idea that their one unexpected, fleeting moment in the rain was simply fate preparing them for something much bigger—their marriage.
Fast forward to their arranged marriage proposal, and BOOM. Sparks fly. Chemistry ignites. And suddenly, you’re so hooked on their story, your Kindle might just overheat from the sheer intensity of it all.
Arjun… oh, Arjun. Tall, charismatic, and oh-so-irresistible. Every glance, every smirk, every quiet, tension-filled moment with Ira? Swoon-city. The slow burn, the unspoken desire, the heated looks? Pure gold.
And Ira? Smart, fierce, determined—and a total delight. She’s got her own battles to fight, and you can’t help but root for her every step of the way.
Arranged marriage romances just hit different, and this book is proof of that! If you love sizzling chemistry, slow-burn longing, playful banter, and a love story that feels like destiny itself— Entangled Kismet is calling your name. ✨
‘Because I want every inch of you touching every inch of mine.’
Some love stories are bought together by fate itself, unexpectedly yet beautifully written. Entangled kismet is one such story - that is perfect and full of love's magic. The story follows Ira Joshi and Arjun pathak and their unplanned arranged marriage by their families. Under familiar love and responsibilities as eldest child, both tie the knot, unaware that the kismet may have conspired to bring them to each other.
First of all, Arjun's character was really charming and dreamy - he's the perfect man equipped with charisma that is bound to make your heart throb. Each of his scenes with Ira literally had me blushing like a fool ( it's something because I don't usually blush! )
Ira was really relatable , her struggles and overthinking, the urge to please her family yet still be independent was apparent which I think a lot of women might feel connected with.
Both characters were really hot together, their chemistry was sizzling, not to mention the fiery banter and witty combacks, I literally devoured their interactions! The friendships and relations were lovely to read, along with side characters- Neel and Gauri really won me, along with Nia and vikram.
Entangled kismet isn't just a story, it's a story that stays in heart and keeps making you giddy whenever you remember it, I loved how everything and each step was led by them, the strings of fate bringing them and tied to each other! Kismet! Beautiful indeed!
P. S- i understood the reason behind book cover's theme and the pendant 🤭
If you love a romance that is hot and sizzling yet feels beautiful, then this one is for you!
Entangled kismet, as the name suggests, Arjun and Ira were destined to be together.
Arjun, an enigmatic young man, successful and laden with all the alpha male-charm, found himself drawn to Ira from the very beginning.
They first met through a chance encounter on the streets of Nagpur under the heavy downpour. Both were immediately attracted to each other but never thought that kismet would spin the wheels and bring them together, weaving a heartwarming tale of love for them.
Ira, was the most relatable female lead I have read in recent times. She was beautiful, simple, kind and giving by nature yet the power she executed through her resilience for giving a better future to her most undeserving parents. Her story also shows you that one could be so unlucky to have the type of parents she had. It was heartbreaking and painful. But seeing her brother Neel, standing up for her, supporting her and doing everything that a brother could have done for his sister, put a smile on my face.
Arjun and Ira's love story was something simple, relatable and yet very beautifully delivered by the author in a flawless execution. It was a warm, cozy and heartfelt read which made you instantly connect to the characters.
An excellent summar-ish read and another star for Era Mable for sure. She had gone out of her way and penned a story which you feel connected with and will stay with you for a long time.
I was waiting for this book for a long time and she made all the wait worth it by giving us such a beautiful and dreamy read.
Okay, so I’m definitely a sucker for arranged marriages, and this book? It's EVERYTHING!!! I finished it in just 3 hours, no joke. It's such an easy, breezy read, and the chemistry between the main characters is so cute and spicy—I couldn't get enough!
The story kicks off with Ira Joshi, a super talented and gorgeous graphic designer from a traditional middle-class family, who isn’t exactly on the marriage train—until she’s hit with a proposal she can’t refuse. Enter Arjun Pathak: successful, charismatic, wealthy, and ridiculously handsome. The classic eligible bachelor. But guess what? He’s not looking for a wife… at least, until fate has other plans. And let me just say, they already have a sizzling moment in the rain way before all the marriage drama even starts, which had me hooked from the get-go!
Ira, weighed down by her parents' constant pressure, finally moves in with Arjun after their arranged marriage, and it’s like she starts to discover a whole new side of herself. Her inner child is set free, and slowly but surely, Ira and Arjun get closer and fall for each other. I really want to keep it spoiler-free, so I’ll just say: things get super interesting!
Now, as much as I loved it, I do have to admit that the plot follows a pretty familiar route—lots of cliches, which honestly? I’m not mad about. Because what’s love without a little cliche, right? It was predictable, but in the best way. Highly recommend if you're a sucker for arranged marriages and sizzling chemistry!
✨ Review: A Beautifully Written Arranged Marriage Romance ✨
This book weaves together kismet, love, and the power of healing in an arranged marriage setting with such charm and intensity! The story follows Ira Joshi, a talented graphic designer with a fierce spirit, and Arjun Pathak, a successful and undeniably handsome bachelor. Both enter the arrangement with reservations, only to be blindsided by the immediate chemistry that crackles between them. From the very first glance, it’s clear their journey is going to be full of sparks, passion, and just the right amount of tension.
What stood out to me was how real and relatable both Ira and Arjun felt. Ira's mix of independence and vulnerability, paired with Arjun’s seemingly perfect exterior and hidden layers, make them both compelling leads. The narrative doesn’t just dwell on the romance; it explores their personal battles and how they navigate the past wounds that inevitably surface. When secrets are finally revealed, their reactions and choices feel heartbreakingly authentic, showcasing the true strength of their relationship.
If you love arranged marriage romances with a twist of fate, complex characters, and a rollercoaster of emotions, this book is a gem! It’s perfect for anyone who enjoys stories that go beyond the fairytale and explore what it takes to truly be each other’s partner in love and healing. Highly recommend this heartfelt journey of two people meant to be together against all odds.
Entangled Kismet by Era Marble follows the story of Ira and Arjun two souls whose paths gets crossed on one rainy day and then years later through destiny their lives gets connected through an arrange marriage.
I loved how real and raw this book felt, how it showed that everything is not that easy and perfect from the beginning in an arrange marriage and how it takes time and effort from both parties to make it perfect. I loved the chemistry between them it was filled with fire and tension, and alp their cute little banters.
Ira is an independent and strong character, I loved her. I literally felt so bad for her because of the way her parents mistreated her and hurt her. And when the truth came out my heart really broke for her. I also loved the way she cursed, it was so funny.
Arjun was such a lovely character. He was so supportive of her and always protected her. Also when he took a stand for her infront of her parents it was so satisfying. I also loved it whenever he got jealous and possessive about her, it was cute and fun. And whenever he called her cinnamon it just melted my heart.
Another thing which I liked about this book was the friendship between Ira and Nia. I absolutely loved their bond.
Overall this was a great book. I loved it. The writing was simple and very engaging. If you love reading desi arrange marriage romances then this is the perfect book for you.
"Entangled Kismet: “Destined Diaries” by Era Mable is a worthy reading that combines the best of the arranged marriage cliche with contemporary romance. But the strength of Mable’s writing lies in her character development, most especially that of Ira and Arjun. Ira, a freelance graphic designer who seems to be assertive and<|reserved_special_token_258|> from a recent break up and Arjun, a self made workaholic businessman, look like they sizzle on screen. It is enjoyable how they tease each other, and the manner they solve the problem, especially when they are angry or misunderstood each other makes them funny.
One of the striking aspects of the video is close to accuracy in how their interaction changes from strangers to partners. The book is great in explaining how flow of information and trust are crucial to a relationship and thus the book is more than just a romantic book. Mable also can tell jokes and, in some places, there are feelings of sadness that are present as well.
Overall, "Entangled Kismet: “Destined Diaries” by Xavier Neal is filled with inspiration and love that will make you close it and have a smile on your face. I recommend this book to whoever loves a good love story, with characters that feel so real that thou almost expect them to be your neighbors – combined with a sprinkle of fate.
"Entangled Kismet" sounds like an enticing blend of romance, fate, and drama, centered on the theme of arranged marriage. The blurb teases a classic opposites-attract setup between Ira, a creative and independent woman, and Arjun, a successful yet commitment-averse bachelor, brought together by circumstances beyond their control. Their initial chemistry promises sparks, and the novel seems to offer an intense emotional journey filled with passion, secrets, and personal growth.
The plot hints at deeper layers as both protagonists confront their pasts, suggesting that the story will explore more than just romance, potentially diving into themes of healing, vulnerability, and the impact of family or societal expectations. The conflict between past secrets and their growing connection adds intrigue, leaving readers curious about how these revelations will challenge or strengthen their bond.
It is a gripping tale for fans of love stories that mix tradition with modern dilemmas, weaving together emotional highs and lows with steamy romance. The idea of being each other’s "healing balm" also suggests a focus on personal transformation and mutual support within the relationship. All in all, its a heartwarming yet dramatic story for those who enjoy intense, character-driven romances.
Entangled Kismet is the arranged marriage romance that will make you swoon. If you love possessive-but-green-flag male leads and chemistry so intense it gives you butterflies, this book is your next obsession 🤭.
Arjun Pathak — workaholic businessman. And then there’s Ira Joshi — a graphic designer and YouTuber who survives on coffee and fiction novels.
They don’t love each other. They don’t even know each other. But fate (and their families) tie them together. And what follows? The slowest of slow burns and the dreamiest romance you didn’t know you needed 💗.
Let’s talk about their first meeting — it's raining , Ira’s in a gorgeous purple salwar (I need one too, honestly 😭 ), and their eyes meet like a scene straight out of a K-drama. Instant tension. Instant butterflies 🦋💖.
And Arjun? He’s so possessive but in the best way — protective, caring, always watching out for Ira like she’s the most precious thing in the world (because she kinda is). 😭
Oh, and that first kiss? Completely unexpected, totally dreamy, and yes — I had to put the book down and scream into my pillow 😭.
This story is packed with banter, longing stares, soft touches, spicy tension, and a love that sneaks up on them both. It’s arranged marriage romance done right — and I’m still not over it.
If you love desi romance and the arranged marriage trope, Entangled Kismet is a book you should definitely pick up!
The story follows Arjun and Ira, who met five years ago during an unexpectedly hot moment on a rainy street — not knowing that fate (and their siblings!) would bring them together in a marriage one day. Yes, their families were involved, but it was their siblings who played the biggest part in making this marriage happen.
Their chemistry is absolutely electric — I could feel every glance, every touch, and every moment between them. Arjun, who never believed in falling for his wife, ends up falling hard, and Ira turns from a quiet, obedient girl into a bold, confident woman — with a super hot husband beside her.
The character growth is amazing, the plot flows smoothly, and the emotional bits hit just right. One of the highlights for me was also the bond between Ira and her brother Neel — real, messy, loving, and so relatable.
And honestly? The author did such a good job, she made it impossible for me to stop giggling — even for a second —while reading. This book had me smiling, blushing, and completely hooked from start to finish.

Ira is a graphic designer and she runs a cooking YouTube channel. She is married off to a rich man, Arjun. The two agree to the marriage only as an arrangement. Their kismets entangle, bringing them together. But they also end up falling for each other.
It seemed like a fluffy romance to me at first, but it's so much more. There's spice, there's drama, there's heartwarming scenes and a really intense plot. The only aspect I didn't like was miscommunication. I personally am not a fan of this trope. But let's face it, if I were in the scenario, I would have pulled the same stupid shit as Ira in the story.
Let's talk about the protagonist of this story: Ira. She has the elder daughter syndrome. She has anxiety. She doesn't like to be dependent. She has problematic parents. She is always seeking her their approval, despite how they treat her. She loves her brother the most in the world. She stays home all day, hardly ever going out, zero socialising and expects to meet her 'The One'. Could she be anymore like me? This character was way too relatable. I loved her.
Every element brought out a relatable aspect. Be it Neel's caring nature towards his sister, Nia and Ira's strong friendship or Arjun's character development.
Entangled Kismet by Era Mable is a contemporary Indian romance, weaving through the theme of arranged marriage.
I have been finding good desi romances these days, and trust me it's the best feeling!
What I liked: The characters... Both the MCs were well developed and well written. And even though the story is a cliche and have been told many times before, the author successfully added a freshness to it. The spice was just perfect and not over the top. And I loved the best friend, Nia, more than everyone!
What I didn't like: Honestly, if I want to point out a negative for me, it would be that the book was written from third person POV, which has always been my least prefered angle. But at this point it's just nit-picking, because everything else about it is just good!
This book definitely made me want to read the other desi romances by Era Mable, and I definitely will! After all, the magic a desi romance can give you is beyond everything!
And if you love these tropes: 🌧️ Arranged Marriage 🌧️ Desi Romance 🌧️ Forced Proximity 🌧️ Rainy Meet 🌧️ Slight Age Gap Then this book is definitely worth it!
Thank you to Author Era Mable and Elentiya PR for this copy! I received a complimentary copy in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are entirely my own.
"Kismet brought them together... Love made them stay"
Right from the start, Entangled Kismet felt like the kind of book that hugs you back-sweet, romantic, and full of heart.❤️✨
Ira Joshi felt like someone I could know in real life-strong, relatable, and easy to root for. Her struggle between family expectations and her own longing for love really hit home. And Arjun Pathak? Oh, he's everything. Supportive, swoony, and the kind of man who makes her feel cherished when no one else ever did.
They had that undeniable kind of chemistry-the kind that makes you giggle one second and clutch your heart the next. From their rainy-day meet-cute to the sweetest arranged marriage scenes, it all felt like something straight out of a dreamy Bollywood film.😌💓
The side characters were amazing– Nia was the kind of best friend everyone deserves, Neil was such a thoughtful brother, Gauri was sweet and supportive, and Vikram? Oh, I'm seriously so excited to see what's coming next with him–he was fun, intriguing, and totally gave "hidden depths" energy... As for Ira's parents? Honestly, they made my blood boil
If you're into desi vibes, arranged marriages, slow-burn chemistry, and a love that feels written in the stars-this is your next read❤️✨
