Captives Island 12 is Excellent- Just like all the rest of the series!
I have said it before and I will say it again, this story you need to read as it is so down to earth, like real life. Each book in the series makes me wish I was a neighbor or lived permanently in the Key Lime Garden Inn. The Captiva Island series is written so excellently by Annie Cabot that I hope the books never end. Each character is so well written that you actually can get so caught up in the stories it seems real! If you had read the first e!even books in the series then you know you want to read Captiva Moonlight without question. Annie's characters feel like close family or a friend you have known forever. I haven't given away any of what is in this book but you really will want to read it., it is excellent just like the eleven before it. Please keep this series going, Ms. Cabot. It is one of my very favorite series ever...read it and you will agree!
I have enjoyed the first eleven books in this series but this one fell flat for me. There were too many story lines that didn't develop with the original characters so why introduce new ones? The ending felt rushed and didn't leave me eager for the next book.
This book was all over the place. Very little connection to the previous where there were many cliffhangers. It just seems like this one was rushed with no thought to the story put in. Difficult to follow.
I enjoy reading the adventures of Maggie on Captiva Island. I felt that this book didn't have the heartwarming feelings that the previous books had. There were too many changes in relationships that felt very rushed. I hope the next book is better.
I have truly loved this whole series! And all the books I've read from Annie Cabot. This series has made me laugh and cry. I can't wait for the next book to come out!! 💕
Great characters! I feel like I've known them all of my life. Very much looking forward to the next two books. I'll be disappointed when the series ends.
