I could not find a good place to coast with this one. The story was interesting and also disconnecting for me. See what you think. It's about a singer and the producer caught up in a blackmail scheme.

Slick is one of the top record label executives in the music industry. He currently runs the family music business and has turned it into one of the leading labels to be associated with. Everyone wants a piece of the company, but his older brother, although happy the business is thriving, is angry that it was not signed over to him. He ensures that he tells Slick this whenever they talk. Slick has to deal with both business and personal issues daily.
Aria, a newcomer in the music industry, has signed up with Slick's company. Her voice is golden; her first single is blowing up the charts. Now her album is about to be launched, and possibly a tour will follow, Aria feels at the top of the world. Her life has not been very easy growing up.
On the eve of her success, Aria receives a blackmail note threatening to release her dark secrets to the public. After speaking with Slick, they decide to fake a relationship for the public eye while privately trying to resolve this blackmail issue.
What begins as a ploy soon takes an unexpected turn. The fake romance between Aria and Slick starts to evolve into something more. As they navigate the complexities of their situation, they find themselves drawn to each other in ways they never anticipated.

Rebirth Dilemma
Hmmmm 🤔, I’m having a rebirth dilemma! …the rebirth/redefined/restructured life/lifestyle goes to Aria aka Urban Bliss not Isaac aka Slick🤷🏾♀️⁉️ Subsequently, I’m not sure why this book was entitled the “Rebirth of Slick: Secrets, Lies & Betrayal”. Nonetheless, the book was an excellent read. It contained all the components of a typical lifetime movie 🍿 experience: hardship, family drama, music, artistry, intrigue, adventure, romance, jealousy & mystery (and so much more).

Loved this story! It had suspense, brother jealousy drama, mention of past serut assault, and of course blooming romance. Slick and Aria had that slow slow-burn or Moving at their own pace. I loved how their positive energy bounced off ach othe and them together. They had some great loyal friends and sister riding forthem I had a couple of people in mind for the blackmail scheme and my quess was cottect

This was a well written story.Love hits when you leash expect it.
Betrayal exist in everyone life. Slick and Aria needed each other. The trauma they experience was something.

I thoroughly enjoyed this!! I really really really wanted the outcome to be different. But at the same time I wanted the Backstabber to suffer more.
This was really good I look forward to more of her work.
