"Don't judge a book by its cover," they say, but sometimes a cover reveals a lot about a book.

From the moment I first saw this book's cover, I was immediately intrigued. I had high hopes, and I was not disappointed.

Right from the beginning, as I removed the wrapping and started flipping through the pages, the intense aroma of freshly printed paper hit me. The artwork and text balloons captivated me immediately. Everything about this edition is superb.

The story is a compelling mix of "Lazarus," "Kali," "Mad Max," and similar tales. It explores the eternal battle of classes—rich vs. poor, rebels vs. the powerful. But it doesn't stop there; multiple subplots add depth and complexity.

Diogo Carvalho mentioned that this project took him eight years to complete. At first, I was surprised by the duration, but after seeing the finished product, I understand. This feels like a labor of love. Nothing was rushed. Diogo ensured the story's consistency, a challenging feat given the long production time. Living with these characters for so long and maintaining a coherent narrative requires exceptional dedication and methodology.

The dynamic panels, especially in the action scenes, are a highlight. The occasional humorous moments add a delightful touch. This is a complete work that I believe any sci-fi fan will enjoy.

Honestly, it's one of the best national releases this year, cementing Diogo's status as a powerhouse of talent in the national scene.

If supporting national authors matters to you, this is a must-have.
